Computer generated promotion?

I'm quite new to the game and tried looking for it in the forum without success.

 

I have simulated many years and haven't seen a generated promotion (one that doesn't exist in the database when the game is started).

 

Does the game generate some or have you seen one?

 

(I'm curious as I remember seeing it in EWR and I believe it was available in previous installments of TEW.)

As far as I am aware, computer-generated promotions do not occur. They have to be preset in the database. The only variable is when they start up, which will be random if it isn't set.

Aye, this is the closest to "computer generated promotions" in the game. In the database there are several companies not yet open, most of which have a set openning date of "random".

 

If you want to increase the number and type of these companies that could spring up, all you have to do is create them in the editor (and you can even import them into games you already have running).

 

Basically, works about the same as it did in EWR. The default database does lack anything similar to World Domination Wrestling, sadly. Though I can only imagine how that could ever work in the default database.

actually WDW is in the C-Verse '97 database. havent had it spring up on me, but only time will tell.

He might - fortunately the '97 mod is so far unofficial, so at least it exists somewhere!
