UFC-KING Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 List your upsets here ! Biggest one so far. Nobody will be able to top this. On his first title defense, Jeff Carlton KO'd Hassan Fezzik in the 2nd Round !
Jacko00 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Not much of an upset but Rich Robinson just tko'd Buddy Garner to become MW Champ in the first round.
Devil_Bingo Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I wouldn't say this was major but Robbie Lawler TKO'ed Anderson Silva in the 3rd round i think on my Modern Warriors game
MrSelfDestruct Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 tank manu'a beats james foster by tko. not once, but twice! foster goes on a big win streak and tank is usually on a losing streakbut tank just kicks his ass. btw king. topped it!! haha
BloodyKnuckles Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Jimmy Abriz subbed Fedor in round 1. Show was called Affliction: Flying Pigs.
Dublin Sky Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Mine Kimbo Beat Fedor Tamdon Mccrory beat GSP James Irvin Beat Forrest Griffin Ricco Rodriguez beat Brock Lesner
UFC-KING Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 The Ricco Fight isn't all that Surprising, Ricco is fairly good and Lesnar is 50/50
MrCanada Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Bob Sapp TKO'ed Fedor in the 2nd round at a Dream show in my current game. TaporSnap data.
Guest JJReid Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Lachlen Brown beats Mike Watson for the Light Heavyweight Championship
doctorjones Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Don't know how big of upsets they are, but: Raul Hughes (18-0) lost his Heavyweight Title to Garry McSweegan (15-5) in what I had been hoping would be a quick match. Also, Bae Yoon (4-2) defeated Mario de Souza (20-6) for the Lightweight Title after 7 successful defenses by de Souza.
Blaze Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Alan Kendall (16-17) beating Eli Harris (8-1) via Decision.
Blackman Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Jeff Carlton Ko'ing Hassan isn't really an upset. It happened with me too: he was the only guy to beat him in his career.
InsatiableInsanity Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I wouldn't say this was major but Robbie Lawler TKO'ed Anderson Silva in the 3rd round i think on my Modern Warriors game On my Tap or Snap update (the latest one) I had Lawler beat Silva too, by K.O. @ 4:37 of R1, then Spider lost AGAIN to Denis Kang by T.K.O. @ 2:58 of R2! They were/are his first two fights in the game! I also had G.S.P. drop his belt to Thiago Alves by K.O. @ 1:42 of R1, then also lose again straight away in the Middleweight division to Kendall freakin' Grove by T.K.O. by 1:37 of R2. It's like they're copying each other! But Rush just beat Karo Parisian by Unanimous Decision, so I'm a bit happier. Aside from those two, I was disappointed that Cain Velasquez lost to Junior dos Santos after beating Carwin, Kongo and Gonzaga consecutively, and speaking of dos Santos, I wanted to build Roger Gracie's unbeaten streak, and he stopped that too! Gracie holds wins either side of that over Burch and Kimbo (don't ask!). That'd be fine, but dos Santos lost his first in-game match to Heath Herring! I just can't get any build on my Heavyweights.
UFC-KING Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 Jeff Carlton did it again, in my BCF game he stopped Fezzik to win the title At ALPHA-1 36
Devil_Bingo Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Din Thomas beats Jens Pulver by Submission 3:58 Round 3 Re-Match (Just over a Year later) Din Thomas beats Jens Pulver by Submission 1:26 Round 1 Why Can't pulver beat Din Thomas so far i think pulver has only won 2 fights sense i started and thats like 2 years.
UFC-KING Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 Thomas actually beat Pulver in real life too, so that means the mod is accurate
ACCBiggz Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 The Ricco Fight isn't all that Surprising, Ricco is fairly good and Lesnar is 50/50 Correction. Ricco was fairly good.
The_Widow_Maker Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Ricco is suppose to be making a comeback but i doubt he will be like his old self.
ACCBiggz Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Ricco is suppose to be making a comeback but i doubt he will be like his old self. Ricco hasn't stopped fighting. Can't be a comeback if you continually fight.
The_Widow_Maker Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 a comeback as in back to his old ways thought u would have understood that. There was a good article about his life on one of the websites.
UFC-KING Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 You have the link, I'd like to give it a check
VTial Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Hazzan Fezzik lost to Jeff Carlton in their rematch who lost his title defense to Kunimichi K who lost his title defense to Sylvester Collins. (1st event -> last event) George Laurent lost to Percy Catcher who lost twice to Petey Mack and Kendall Tracy both of whom have defeated Jerry Bogdonovich twice who has defeated George Laurent twice who has defeated Kendall Tracy and Petey Mack back to back who Petey Mack just submitted in their last fight when Laurent was on a winning streak and had no other challengers outside of rematches. (looping event) Aleksei Chekhov was overrated (by Blurcat remarks) and never got ranked until his first KO of Denbe Ekiguchi: Win - KO - Denbe Ekiguchi - RRR Win - Submission - Silvio Scirea - BCF Win - Jermaine - TKO - RRR Win - Rob Baines - Submission - RRR Win - Leandro Piquet - TKO - RRR Loss - Percy Catcher - Split - BCF Loss - Brian Barnes - KO - BCF Nicolai Mickiweisz was 1 L and 1 draw to Kendall and lost to Percy Catcher in RRR but UD'd Anthony Letoussier in GAMMA and is now ranked #1 in RRR. Bill Brown is 10-1 with his first loss due to a KO by Bence Bodor in his debut. Wayne McKellan beat Petey Mack by TKO, Knocked out Uwe twice, submitted Bixente Fontaine and KO'd his rematch with Thorbjon who submitted him in his first fight and yet loses twice by TKO to Nigel Malley. Marcelo Oberto has never lost in a booked match in this game and was coming off a year lay-off but still handed Darin Blood his first loss. Oberto was 15-3 at the time and Blood 12-0. Ironically Oberto had to wait for Blood to build up his fights that he had to go through Indriyanto twice and destroy him twice. Indriyanto never had a good record but would hand Blood his second loss via TKO. (Blood didn't immediately fight Indriyanto after his loss to Oberto) Marko Prochazka's only loss at LW was to Brandon Sugar twice and had only 1 notable win but because that win was a recent KO of Kojuro Ijichi, the only fighter to finish Sugar at LW, both Alpha-1 and GAMMA suddenly had a man crush on him and he's now ranked #3 behind Gustavo and Sugar. (Sugar being the only person to hold both BCF LW and GAMMA LW belt at the same time in this game and Bautista who's only loss was to Sugar via KO and includes a win over Kojuro)
Blehschmidt Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 My Biggest Upsets: Roger Hollett over Mauricio Rua by TKO Matt Hammill over Quinton Jackson by Decision Cheick Kongo over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira by Decision Houston Alexander over Wanderlei Silva, Thiago Silva, and Chuck Liddell all by TKO
