Bigpapa42 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 When a gimmick change requires that a worker be kept off camera, does that just mean no televised matches? I'm guessing that having them work dark matches would be okay?
pepper2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 You can send him to development. Other than that, you cant use him, if you did use him early there will be a penalty on his gimmick. Changing gimmick is best use if the worker got badly injured, become unusable due to schedule conflict, make a movie, or pose in a magazine.
G-Prime Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Sending him to development doesn't work, I remember someone saying they got screwed over by that.

I wanted to switch his gimmck to team him uo with Texas Pete. I set the change, sent him to MAW for 56 days and when he came back he was ready to go.

Thomnipotent Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 The problem the user had was that, when the worker returned, the worker's gimmick hadn't been changed. Something weird. Ronnie may have been ready to go, but was his gimmick the one you'd specified?

Yup teamed him with Texas Pete on the next show as The Posse in a loss to The New Wave and got this message: "Sheriff Pain has now switched to a Cowboy gimmick. It has gotten an initial B rating." Sadly I also got this message: "Sheriff Pain and Texas Pete don't work well as a team, their timing is all over the place."

Ouch thats what house shows or dark matches are for.
fatallylost Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I set Mark Henry to turn once, a few months back. He had to stay ioff screen for 3 months for it. His return date was roughly about Wrestlemania. So I sent him to development, but, when I brought him back, well after 3 months, it said he was not kept off camera long enough.
