ProjectJinx Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 GAMMA: The Ultimate Fighter 2 Team Asanovis vs. Team Reid The scene opens with Matt Tripp (founder of GAMMA) walking into the GAMMA: UF mansion with a group of 16 guys following him in, they stop at the opening of a large hallway. At the end of the hallway, "The Amazing" JJ Reid and "The Croatian Sensation" Zvonimir Asanovis stand waiting for the 16 newcomers. Matt Tripp tells the boys to line up as he walks down the hallway towards Reid and Asanovis, who welcomes him with open arms. "JJ and Zvonimir, two people that I like to see on a daily bases. I would like for you guys to introduce yourselfs to the fighters and then start the draft," Matt said to the two coaches, he then turned to the fighters and began to speak again, "As you all know, you fought to get into the house and the two coaches here, JJ Reid and Zvonimir Asanovis watched as you guys took on your opponents. The two coaches reviewed the tapes and the draft will put you guys into two teams of eight under the leadership of either JJ or Zvonimir." The two coaches walked down the hallway and then stood in front of the 16 men. JJ was the first to speak, "Hello, I am JJ Reid and I will be one of the coaches for GAMMA's second Ultimate Fighter contest and this here is GAMMA Lightheavy Weight Champion Zvonimir Asanovis. I was able to win the coin toss before you guys made it here, I choose to pick my fighter first, which means control of the first fight goes to Asanovis. I will start this off quick and easy then." Re-Cap of Draft (Done by Me and JJReid) Team Reid (JJReid) 1. Maxwell Forrester (Drew Jenks) 2. Ryan Burns (Glenn Pimm) 3. Eliot Sharp (Christopher Sharp) 4. Alex Coleman (Owen Hyde) 5. Dan Riddal (Jethro Munter) 6. Kevin Miller (Lachlen Bowen) 7. DJ Haye (Spencer Rubenstein) 8. Reinhard Campos (Leandro Piquet) Team Asanovis (Me) 1. Houston Davis (Leon Banks) 2. Cory Horn (Mike Watson) 3. Markus Jackson (Ashley Ballard) 4. Vincent Lawlor (Bryan Van Den Hauwe) 5. Nate Herring (Nick Detroit) 6. Mike Atlas (Michael Bannon) 7. Tom Wright (Logan Sky) 8. Roger King (Rob Baines) (I decided to go with a different way of things with my version of TUF. I picked two top guys, JJ Reid (Number One Contender) and Zvonimir Asanovis (Champion) and then picked 16 random guys from the WMMA Lightheavy Weight Division. Changed the names, age, and bio. Thus creating 16 new characters that no one has heard of.)
Guest JJReid Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Forrester: I think its great JJ picked me I can tell he has confidence in me and I can't wait to fight.
ProjectJinx Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 A few hours later... Zvonimir Asanovis walks into his team's locker room, all eight of his fighters are sitting around waiting on his pick for the first fight of GAMMA: UF 2. They all start to talk about who they think will fight and the room gets louder and louder. "Alright, enough talk. I think I have made a strong pick for our first fight and I believe that this will be an easy, quick win and we will remain in control of the fights. That is why I am going with you, Roger King and you will be taking on one of the bigger guys on Team Reid, but I believe in you alright. Kevin Miller will be your opponent and I wish you the best of luck." Zvonimir leaves the room quietly. Roger King walks into a huddle of his teammates that has already been formed, "Alright guys, lets give it up for Roger, on three. 1... 2... 3... GO KING GO!" They break and Roger King walks off with Vincent Lawlor who was a friend of Roger's before entering the house as they had met when attending the same High School. Vincent pats Roger on the back as they walk out of the room, "Listen up Rog, you have to be one of the best, if not the best, submission guy in this whole house and I believe if you don't let him get you early then you can lock in something tight and make the big guy tap. You got this bro, don't let being picked last get inside your head." Roger said nothing back, and walked off to train for the upcoming match with Kevin Miller. (Thanks to my two new readers.)
Guest JJReid Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Miller: I think this a good match up for me and DEFINETLEY not him hes the worst in the house hes was the last picked I'm confident I'm gonna win this fight.
ProjectJinx Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 GAMMA: The Ultimate Fighter 2 Team Asanovis vs. Team Reid Fight #1 Roger King vs. Kevin Miller After a long day of training, the first match up of GAMMA: TUF 2 is about to begin as Roger King and Kevin Miller make there way to the ring. Roger King is sporting a Team Asanovis black t-shirt and white fighting shorts and Kevin Miller is wearing a Team Reid white t-shirt and has on orange fighting sports. Blurcat's fight prediction - Roger King via submission (Next post will be the fight)
ProjectJinx Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Fight #1 Roger King vs. Kevin Miller Round One - Very slow start to round one, as both fighters only seem to want to test what the other fighter is willing to do. Miller takes the first move and quickly leaps forward and takes Roger King down to the mat and unloads a huge right hand, only to find gloves. King starts to wiggle about and so enough he scrambles to his feet and they are back to where they started. This time King leaps forward, taking down Miller and quickly locking in a Neck Vice submission. Team Reid start screaming for Miller, and it must of helped as he breaks free from the lock. Bad news though as King some how gets Miller on to his back and locks in a tight Leglock, the only thing saving Miller is the round coming to an end. Round Two - Unlike the first round, this one begins fast. King gets a very early takedown, but Miller is able to get to his feet almost as quick as he was taken to the mat. Miller then backs King off with two straight jabs that hit glove and then a left hook out of no where that sends King to his ass. Kevin takes this as an opening and runs foward, but only for King to get him with a single leg takedown, straight into a Leglock. Lucky for Miller though as the round comes to an end and he is lives for another round. The Judges see the first round going to King and the second round is given to Miller, which gets loud boos from Team Asanovis. There will be a third sudden victory round Round Three - The third round seems like it goes by two fast, the fighters trading blows and not giving the judge's much to work with at all. Until Miller gets his takedown reversed into a kimura, but he is able to fight out of it. They both stand, but it quickly goes back to the ground with a King takedown and locking in yet another Leglock. King must have father time against him, as the round yet again comes to an end and King is not able to get the submission victory. Good thing for Roger King though. He may have father time fighting against him also, but he does have the Judge's giving him the third round and the victory.
ProjectJinx Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Team Reid 1. Maxwell Forrester 2. Ryan Burns 3. Eliot Sharp 4. Alex Coleman 5. Dan Riddal 6. Kevin Miller (Cut - Lost to King) 7. DJ Haye 8. Reinhard Campos Team Asanovis 1. Houston Davis 2. Cory Horn 3. Markus Jackson 4. Vincent Lawlor 5. Nate Herring 6. Mike Atlas 7. Tom Wright 8. Roger King (Advances - Beat Miller) Zvonimir Asanovis and the rest of Team Asanovis climb into the ring, jumping on Roger King after his win over Kevin Miller. "TEAM ASANOVIS!" everyone from Team Asanovis yelled together as they celebrated on there way back to the house. All the members on the team start separating, leaving Roger King to celebrate with good friend Vincent Lawlor, "Way to go Roger. I knew you had it in you, and you knew you had it in you and you got that victory," Lawlor said to King. "I know man, but I was really hopeing to get that submission victory in round one and it didn't happen for me, but I am glad that I advanced into the next round. I thought I was done for in the second round when Miller caught me with that nasty hook." Before Lawlor could make his reply, he was cut off by Eliot Sharp, DJ Haye, and Dan Riddle of Team Reid. "Hey, Eliot... Who is big and dumb and shouldn't have won?" DJ Haye said out loud so that everyone near could hear him. "I am not sure DJ, do you mean Roger King, because that guy is a huge f**king loser," but before DJ or Dan could add something in, Vincent walked up to the three Team Reid members. "You got some s**t to talk about my boy, are you going to back it up, or am I going to have to knock your a** out," Vincent said to Eliot who was now only inches from his face, "HAHAHA! That is so funny, you think you can knock me out. How about you get the next fight between you and me and then we will see who is knocking who out." Eliot turned and walked away, DJ and Dan following close behind. A few minutes later... "Hey, Zvonimir... You got a second?" Vincent Lawlor said to his coach as he walked up to him. "Yes, I got a few seconds to spare. What is on your mind?" Zvonimir replied, "Well, I wanted to know if you had the next fight planned out yet?" "Kind of, I wanted Ryan Burns or Alex Coleman to face off against one of my guys. Why do you think you have a better idea?" "I was thinking, maybe Eliot Sharp against me." "You know what, that is not a bad idea at all. I will go and tell JJ Reid that I have the next fight planned out."

Sharp tosses a few jabs which all connect against Lawlor's chin and then Sharp throws a looping left hook, but hits nothing as Lawlor attempted to move out of the way, stumbling and then falling to the mat. Sharp is on top of him in a flash and begins to tossing bombs into Lawlor's face and chin. The ref jumps in and stops the fight. Eliot Sharp gets up after the TKO victory, the rest of his team around him are jumping up and down with excitement. (The real win was Eliot Sharp via Third Round TKO, but I wanted to spice up the story. As Eliot is the a-hole and only won because of a stumble.)

ProjectJinx Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 Fight #3 Tom Wright vs. Maxwell Forrester Round One - Quick start to round one, as Maxwell Forrester takes Tom Wright down to the mat and begins to jockey for position and gets finally gets full mount, but Tom breaks free and gets to his feet, adding stiff leg kicks for good measure. Maxwell again takes Tom down after hitting a few weak looking punches, and he gets caught with an armbar by Tom, but Forrester uses his muscles to lift and slam Tom to the mat, breaking the lock. The round comes to an end, with Maxwell on top of Tom, landing some clean shots. Round Two - Unlike the first round, Tom looks good at the beginning of this round. Circling Maxwell and aiming leg kicks and short jabs at will, but a missed jab lands Tom on his back, hard. Maxwell mounts and rains blows down on Tom, the ref doesn't have to step in as the bell rings to end the match. The Judges see both rounds going to Maxwell, Team Reid still has control of the fights.
