Tyler Gadzinski Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 What did everyone recieve for the holidays? I didn't really ask for much this holiday season but was very excited to see that I recieved the new Eddie Guerrero DVD and also the new Kane DVD.. sad to say though that these will probably be sitting on the shelf for quite a bit as I've still got a lot of other wrestling DVD's to watch yet.. in fact I bought the Hardy's DVD when it first came out.. I still haven't even opened it. Anyway I was just wondering what everyone else might've gotten.. besides drunk of course.. lol. Happy Holidays everyone!

tjb000 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Well, I had a wonderful Christmas. I'm even more broke than I was now though from buying gifts for myself and everybody else, but I'll make it somehow. I bought MYSELF some DVDs on Black Friday thinking I wouldn't get much for Christmas: Batman Begins (had to get a new copy) Across The Universe Entourage Seasons 1, 2 and 3 (parts 1 and 2) House: Season 3 From family and friends: Arrested Development: Season 1 The Dark Knight: Special Edition (Steel Book casing) a new wallet Simon & Garfunkel - The Columbia Studio Recordings (1964-1970) And my 'big' gift was a brand new DVD player w/ VCR combo. Also doubles as a DVD Recorder and has 1080p upconversion. Even though my I'm 21, my mom insists on buying me and other family members tons of gifts. She's also broke now herself. Thankfully all the stuff she got me was from Black Friday sales and other sales. She got a helluva deal on that DVD player. I was a tad shocked with what I got to be honest. I seriously wasn't expecting much so I bought myself some DVDs on Black Friday. Should have figured my mom would go all out like she does every year. God bless her.
Wade Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I got a ****-ton of tools, and a gift-certificate to Home Depot so I can get to work on the modifications I want to do to the upstairs. Just recently got a place with my brother, and the upstairs bores me.

A friend of mine in Columbus said he was grabbing some tickets at least. Went to the Arnold & UFC 82 last year, and had a great time.
Max Peck Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Not really a xmas gift per se, but I got hit by a 86 old woman who ran a red light.....I'm fine, my car on the other hand....
ShadowedFlames Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Nothing. Then again, I wasn't expecting or asking for anything, so...expectation met!
wilts Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 <p>OK, so in addition to the main question, how many of you opened all your presents, and then realised that there was something you really wanted was missing, and was then disappointed, even though you had £7049693872950609829 worth of goods in front of you.</p><p> </p><p> Just watching the news and going for a walk in town, it is amazing to see the amount of people that are out spending hundreds of pounds just the day after christmas, is it just me or are people never happy any more? they always want just a little extra?</p><p> </p><p> For anyone with kids, what did you buy them? A new playstation game, a new playstation? 5 new playstations? or a bike? I got my first bike for christmas, but seems kids just get crap nowadays....and we whinge that they are fat....</p>

Was in my school football and basketball teams, went to Army Cadets one night a week and went to Shota Khan 4 nights a week. I believe that it's not the crap available to kids thats the problem, its the fact that parents are too lazy/uninterested in getting their kids hobbies, activities etc. My lil girl is just coming up on 2 and she is not interested in tv like most kids her age is, she would much rather sit and draw or play with her dolls, and long may it continue.</p>

Tyler Gadzinski Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 That and I know here in the United States we had our second Black Friday.. so everything was mega discounted.

I've been keeping my eye on a new guitar for a while now. Was £1,050 in May when I first checked. £1,050 in December when I checked for christmas. Checked on boxing day and I picked it up for £899 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
