killakidd Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 so im running this game and i have a storyline unchained between jericho and kurt angle to really over guys....but no matter what overness based angle i put them in it comes up as c ratings anywhere i go...or have them do promos and kurt gets c's even tho his charistma and microphone are a rated...can anyone explain?
killakidd Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 nope hes got an A* and jericho is a B
LFC_chris Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 What are their popularity in the regions you're using them in?
Vladamire Dracos Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Very stupid question here, but what's your product? Do you get any notes when you run the angles?
Hyde Hill Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Aye and whats the percentage of angles/matches from 90 and above it gets harder.
killakidd Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 it's the death of the wwe mod so angle and jericho are A over every where in america and it's a performance over popularity so there really shouldn't be a problem..cause both of them can handle themselves skill wise..oh and the percentage is 70 tv 80 on events
Hyde Hill Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 performance over popularity you say? Maybe not enough entertainment/comedy/risque in the product setting?

FINisher Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008

.. and it's a performance over popularity so there really shouldn't be a problem..cause both of them can handle themselves skill wise..oh and the percentage is 70 tv 80 on events

That right there is your problem. The fans who come to your shows DON'T WANT angles, they want matches. That is the sole reason the angles will suck no matter what, the fans didn't come to see stupid angles, they came for the action. Your match/angle ratio should be at 90/100.

killakidd Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 yea but thats not the case im running a shawn michaels vs sting fued and they're getting A* and B+ ratings on the same type of stuff...even running stuff like video hype which is why im so freakin insane over this problem...CM punk and Matt hardy..hell even robert roode can manage a b promo but all of kurts promos never break a c+....
James Casey Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Are you booking the segments after low ranking segments? Or at the start of the show? Or after particualrly high segments? Any of those could cause lower than expected ratings - the first as the crowd was brought down by the preceeding segment, the second because the crowd hasn't warmed up yet, and the third because a significant drop in quality tends to result in an overreaction in terms of crowd response. For example, if Santino Marella followed Steve Austin or The Rock on Raw, although Santino is hugely entertaining he's not on the same level as Rock or Austin, so the crowd would see the segment as a let down, resulting in a lower than expected reaction.
Derek B Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 What is Kurt's happiness? Sounds to me like he's underperforming because he's unhappy at something that has happened to him. Also, though I think you have this covered, are there other workers in the segments he's involved in that could be bringing him down?
killakidd Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 idk whats going on but my ppv is coming up and jericho vs angle is finally going to happen and so help me if this match is anything less than a b i might have a stroke because of this mysterious underperforming...so once i book that i'll be back
