Blaze Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I think everyone loves Barry Stratchen. But my personal favorite is Liam (w.e his last name is.) annnnd Gary Sampson
barkflex Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 In my recent game, Duane Weatherly is my favorite go-to can. He's perfect for guys needing a win or for up and comers.
grits207 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Marvin Stevens is the most reliable can I've ever had. Usually you run a risk of the can pulling off an upset and screwing up your plans, not with Stevens.
VTial Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Francis O'Leary - The guy is just unpredictable. Retired at 41 years old, 7-5 Bae Yoon - Guy is crazy. 0-7 in my org. 2-0 in GAMMA Riley Huxtabie - No idea how this guy gets to be so lucky. 10-2 currently with most of his wins coming out of GAMMA including a stoppage over Ricardo Fernandes. Oscar Gomez/Serena Hill - Got to love knock out artists.
samuricex Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Harriet Fey - I try to build her every game, but she lets me down every time.
Cade Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 how do you guys build your fighters i generally only have 10-15 guys in each div and most guys fight good fighters hence not very many get on good streaks do you guys hire guys with say 3-10 records just to cop bashings to butter up guys records?

To some extent. That's how you build up your up-and-comers. IMO, no matter how good a fighter is, a 5-0 guy should not be fighting a guy with 10+ fights, regardless of their win/loss ratio. You really do need cans to help the guy, or he may never become a star at all. Also, I like to give my stars who have just loss an easy fight to help rebuild their momentum. Some guys will just keep their losing streak if you don't throw them a bone.
Nephrinn Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 how do you guys build your fighters i generally only have 10-15 guys in each div and most guys fight good fighters hence not very many get on good streaks do you guys hire guys with say 3-10 records just to cop bashings to butter up guys records? I'm actually doing that in my latest game. What you do is hire all the rookies who have serious potential (White, Bretton, Ka Ting, Lass to name a few) and hire a bunch of fighters who couldn't win if their life depended on it (fighters who have little to no strengths) and fight them as often as possible. Once your rookies get around 15 matches under their belts they become "experienced" and usually are much better fighters than they were before and are usually maxed out in popularity by then. You should be able to do all this within a few years.
UFC-KING Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 With Alpha-1 My Favorite Cans Are : Bae Yoon - I don't know why everybody thinks he's that bad, He always turns into a monster in my games, 15-8 in my game, I've had him since the beginning, and He was the former Champion beating Paulo Roberto Bezerra. Eli Harris - Sucks bad at the beginning, but eventually turns into a World Class fighter for me. Ethan Sutton - One Word. BO-RING, but a definite potential star if you build him up right. Darren Southall - For Some Reason, I just love the guy. Sebastian Fernandez - Love to build him up !
Jacko00 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Bradley Dixon and Pete Shilton always gives your prospects a win.
Guest JJReid Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 UFC King Bae Yoon is also my favourite he ends up losing like five in a row then he won 3 matches in a row for me and won the championship.
BuddyGarner Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Solomon Austin is my favorite can! He's like only good in the clinch
