Breaking News: Following the embarrassment of the Montreal Screwjob, Vince McMahon has resigned effective immediately. We are being told that the new owner of the WWF will be announced tonight on RAW!

I figure it's time I try my hand at a diary. Some of the ideas are a little trite, but I like how it's coming along.

Live from Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford New Jersey in front of 15,000 people.

At 8 o’clock Raw comes on the air.

Jim Ross: Folks, tonight marks the sad end of the McMahon era of the WWF. Think what you want about the man, but he changed the industry forever. Tonight, we hope to be introduced to his succ-

Before the last word is out of his mouth, strange music begins. The entryway fills with smoke, and out walks… somebody.

Jerry Lawler: Who in the hell is that, JR?

Strange Man: Ladies and gentlemen, meet your new owner. I’m sure none of you know who I am, and that’s good. I don’t want you to know. All you need to know is that this company will be undergoing massive, MASSIVE changes in the coming weeks. The sorry antics of Vince McMahon will no longer hold down this company. Rest assured, I will take this company to places it has never been before, largely because of that buffoon McMahon. Enjoy the show.

With that, the new owner drops the microphone and exits.

Jim Ross: Bah gawd King, the new owner didn’t show Mr. McMahon very much respect.

Jerry Lawler: Could you give us a bigger understatement?

After the new owner’s exit, WWF World Heavyweight champion Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring.

After laying some praise on himself, Shawn says he will defend his title against anyone backstage.

After a few minutes, no one has appeared. Shawn praises himself some more, when suddenly glass breaks. Out comes Stone Cold Steve Austin. He accepts the challenge. The two will face off for the title tonight!

Flash Flanagan vs. Marc Mero

The match is largely one sided, but Flanagan somehow avoids being pinned. That is, until Mero lands a shooting star press. The crowd was not impressed with Mero at all.

Winner: Marc Mero

[5:44] [E+]

Bart Gunn vs. Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw

This match features a lot of back and forth action, with neither man gaining the advantage until Bradshaw hits a huge lariat to end the match.

Winner: Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw

[6:56] [D]

After Bradshaw’s victory, The Nation of Domination make their way to the ring. Faarooq, The Rock, Kama Mustafa and D’Lo Brown confidently state that they have found a fifth member. Out walks the huge Mabel. They announce that Mabel’s debut as a Nation member will be right now, teaming with D’Lo. As the match begins, Faarooq and The Rock head backstage while Kama Mustafa remains at ringside.

The Nation w/ Kama Mustafa vs. The Headbangers

The Nation are in control of this matchup throughout. Just as The Headbangers start to gain some momentum, Kama Mustafa interferes, knocking out Mosh. Mabel can then land a big splash and make the cover. The crowd was hard on both Mabel and Mosh.

Winner: The Nation

[4:47] [D-]

Following the tag match, the new owner comes out again. He demands that the New Age Outlaws come to the stage. They do, and he informs them that they will try to defend their tag titles against the Legion of Doom later tonight.

Blackjack Windham vs. Kama Mustafa

Kama Mustafa makes easy work of Windham, but instead of pinning him, he struts around the ring. This allows Windham to get up and nearly hit Kama with a big clothesline. But at the last second, Kama sticks out a knee that catches Windham in the stomach. He goes down hard, and Kama makes the cover.

Winner: Kama Mustafa

[5:32] [D-]

Tag Team Title Match

Legion of Doom vs. The New Age Outlaws w/ Chyna ©

From the start, LOD dominate. They wear down the Outlaws with an array of power moves, leaving the Outlaws down and out. As the referee checks on Billy Gunn, Chyna pulls Road Warrior Animal out of the ring. She hits him with a number of hard forearms outside the ring, while Road Dogg and a rejuvenated Billy Gunn double team Hawk in the ring. After a pumphandle slam, and with some added leverage from the ropes, Road Dogg makes the pin.

Winner: The New Age Outlaws, who make defense number 1 of their Tag Team Titles

[8:55] [C-]

Following the match, we see Kane and Paul Bearer backstage. Bearer has some strong words for the Undertaker, continuing the Kane/Undertaker feud.

After the promo, we are taken the backstage area. Owen Hart is getting dressed, and the crowd pops. He starts to head to the ring, but realizes he forgot something. He goes back to his locker and flings open the door, which catches a passing Jeff Jarrett in the face. Owen doesn’t notice, and makes his way to the ring.

Owen Hart vs. The Rock

Another close match, this one sees both men giving it their all for the fans. After a long struggle, Owen attempts the Sharpshooter. He locks it in, but an angry Jeff Jarrett slides in and smashes a guitar over Owen’s head. Owens falls, and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Owen Hart by DQ

[12:06] [b-]

World Heavyweight Title Match

Intercontinental Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels ©

Finally, the match we’ve all been waiting for. Stone Cold against the Heartbreak Kid for the world title.

Austin spends most of the match hitting Michaels with a slew of kicks and punches. As Stone Cold stomps a mud hole in Michaels, Triple H runs out. Austin is ready for him and quickly removes him from the ring. But when Austin turns around, Michaels is waiting with Sweet Chin Music, and makes the cover for the win.

Winner: Shawn Michaels, who makes defense number 1 of his World Heavyweight Title

[15:11] [b+]

As Shawn and Triple H celebrate in the ring, the new owner comes out one last time.

Mystery owner: Very nice, very nice. You have just proven that you are indeed the hottest worker in the WWF. Too bad that doesn’t mean a damn thing to me. You may be the champ in Vince’s mind, but as we all know there’s not too much going on up there. You have to prove to me that you deserve to be the champ. But I’m getting ahead of myself. For now, I am declaring that all titles are hereby vacated. Shawn, I know you don’t know what that means. In Shawn Michaels terms, you get to hand over your belt to me. And your buddy, the R-O-DoubleG-doesn’t-know-how-to-spell and his ass partner get to hand over their titles as well. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

With that shocking announcement, the owner leaves. Fellow DX members and now former Tag Team champions The New Age Outlaws come to the ring to share in Shawn Michaels’ astonishment.

Jim Ross: I hope we find out more next week about this supposed new owner. All I can say is I don’t like the way he operates. Make sure you tune in next week to find out more. This is Jim Ross, with Jerry “The King” Lawler, signing off.

Jim Ross: After last week’s shocking appearance of the new owner of WWF, what could possibly be in store for us tonight?

Jerry Lawler: Hah! I don’t know JR, but I can’t wait to find out.

At that moment, the new owner struts out, accompanied by loud boos.

Owner: Thank you, thank you. You know, last week I thought I was doing everyone a favor. By vacating all titles, I gave every man in that locker room a shot at gold. But instead, they spit back in my face. Now I don’t like it when people spit in my face. But I’ll let it slide this time, and clue you in to a future event. In three weeks at In Your House, we will have a six man elimination match to determine the number 30 spot in January’s Royal Rumble. This is crucial because this year’s Royal Rumble will prove to be the most important one in history. But I’m saying too much. Let’s just say that the next three week’s matches will be extremely important. I’ll be watching every one of them, and hand picking the six men to compete at In Your House. Enjoy the show.

With that, the owner exits stage left.

Jim Ross: So we still won’t have any champions a month from now?

Jerry Lawler: You know as much as I do, JR.

Jim Ross: Let’s just hope that tonight’s matches will take our mind off this new owner and his shenanigans.

“The Lethal Weapon” Steve Blackman vs. Goldust

This match gives us some hilarity as Blackman’s normal stoic demeanor is disrupted by Goldust’s over-the-top antics. By putting Blackman off his game, Goldust picks up the advantage and finishes the match without exerting too much effort.

Winner: Goldust

[7:32] [C]

After the match, we are shown a video recapping the recent feud between Kane and The Undertaker. The camera then cuts to The Undertaker backstage. He challenges Kane to a tag team match tonight, with any partners.

The Godwinns vs. Truth Commission w/ The Jackal

Despite the size of Kurrgan and Recon, Truth Commission can’t seem to get any offense going against The Godwinns. The match ends quickly in favor of The Godwinns. The crowd was really rough on Kurrgan and Recon.

Winner: The Godwinns

[4:41] [E]

As Truth Commission leaves the ring, we are shown Paul Bearer and Kane backstage. Bearer says that Kane accepts The Undertaker’s challenge, and that he already has a partner lined up for tonight.

Ahmed Johnson vs. Billy Gunn w/ Chyna

Billy starts out in control, but Johnson’s power eventually wore down Mr. Ass. Not even attempted interference from Chyna could change the outcome.

Winner: Ahmed Johnson

[5:34] [C]

We are treated to a short video of last week’s Michaels/Austin match.

Flash Flanagan vs. TAKA Michinoku

TAKA hits the Michinoku driver to finish off this uneventful match.

Winner: TAKA Michinoku

[4:38] [E+]

Jeff Jarrett vs. Road Dogg

A close match most of the way through. Road Dogg attempts his shimmy shake punches, but Jeff ducks the last one and hits RD with a hard DDT. As he makes the cover, Owen Hart runs in and smashes Jarrett’s own guitar over his head. Jarrett drops, and the referee calls for the bell. Owen walks away, smiling.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett by DQ

[6:49] [C+]

Faarooq and The Rock come out to the ring. Faarooq announces that there is one particular person he would like to beat in the ring. Just before he can say the person’s name, Ken Shamrock appears and heads to the ring. A referee is in place, so the match begins.

Faarooq w/ The Rock vs. Ken Shamrock

Shamrock hits the ring, throws Rock out of it, and starts after Faarooq. Faarooq is eventually able to slow Shamrock down, but only momentarily. The Rock hops up on the apron to try to distract Shamrock, but he is quickly knocked off. Shamrock then lands a belly-to-belly suplex followed by an ankle lock. Faarooq cannot reach the ropes, so he taps out.

Winner: Ken Shamrock

[9:45] [C+]

As Shamrock exits, we see The Undertaker backstage, coming out of the boiler room. The crowd pops when Mankind is right behind him. Taker and Mankind enter the ring, waiting for Kane and his opponent. Kane comes out and stands halfway down the ramp, staring at The Undertaker. Finally, DX’s music plays. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Chyna enter.

The Undertaker and Mankind vs. Kane and Triple H w/ Shawn Michaels and Chyna

The match is very close, with both teams hitting big moves left and right. Several times, all four men end up in the ring. Order is always restored, and the struggle continues. During what has to be the sixth four man skirmish in the ring, Shawn Michaels climbs in and taps referee Earl Hebner on the shoulder. Hebner turns around just in time to be met with Sweet Chin Music. Down he goes, and Michaels and Chyna enter the fray. Kane throws The Undertaker from the ring, and the two battle on the floor. This leaves Mankind alone against Triple H, Michaels, and Chyna. Triple H grabs a chair and the trio begin assaulting Mankind with it. Triple H gives him a hard shot across the back, followed by two shots to the head. He hands the chair to Chyna, who aims for Mankind’s knees. Just then, we hear glass shatter, and Stone Cold comes running to the ring. As he approaches the ring, WWF security stops him. It seems our new owner has demanded that no one from backstage be allowed to interfere in this match. An angry Stone Cold can do nothing but watch as the assault on Mankind continues. Kane keeps The Undertaker occupied on the outside as Chyna helps up Hebner and directs him to Triple H’s cover of Mankind. He slowly counts to three, and the match is finally over.

Winner: Kane and Triple H

[21:48] [b+]

After their win, Kane and Triple H stand in the ring with Shawn Michaels and Chyna. Shawn pulls out an enormous DX shirt and throws it at Kane. Kane looks at it for a second, then tears it in half and exits.

Just the story...Having Vinnie Mac retire, you know, different but with legitamate reason too. That said I like the layout, easy to read and all that. But yeah, some good potential right here. (Take this for what it is, I've never done one of these)

As RAW comes on the air, we see the owner backstage with Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

Owner: You guys did a number on Mankind last week. This week you’ll get your shot again, alongside Kane. Now I know he didn’t react well to your gesture, but maybe he’ll come around. You might end up with a big red machine in your little DX playgroup.

Triple H: Enough! Who are we going up against?

Owner: Oh, you know….maybe…Mankind...

*Crowd pops*

Owner: …The Undertaker…

*crowd pops even more*

Owner: …and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

*crowd goes bananas*

Owner: And let’s make it a little more fun. The members of the winning team will have guaranteed spots in the 6 man elimination match at In Your House.

Triple H: What’s your name, anyway?

Owner: Get the hell out of my office.

We are taken back to the ring, where Faarooq and The Rock are standing.

Faarooq: Last week, I tried to call out a guy who has been pissing me off lately. Before I could do so, I was interrupted. Well tonight I’d like to try again. This guy has be-

*IT’S TIME. IT’S TIME. IT’S VADER….TIME TIME TIME TIME*

Vader comes running out to the ring.

Faarooq vs. Vader

Vader proceeds to demolish Faarooq. Each time The Rock tries to help, Vader mauls him as well. Vader throws Faarooq out of the ring on the far side. As the referee begins his count, The Rock reaches into the ring and hits Vader with a low blow. Vader drops, while Faarooq enters the ring and hits Vader with the Dominator to end the match.

Winner: Faarooq

[10:16] [C]

Backstage, we see Jeff Jarrett. He is furious with Owen Hart for ruining his match last week. Jeff challenges Owen to a tag match tonight.

Blackjack Windham vs. Mabel w/ Kama Mustafa

Mabel makes quick work of Windham. The big splash seals the deal. The crowd was very hard on Mabel.

Winner: Mabel

[4:11] [E]

D’Lo Brown w/ Kama Mustafa vs. Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw

The match is close when D’Lo gets Bradshaw on the mat. He climbs to the top rope and attempts a frog splash, but Bradshaw lifts his knees up, blocking D’Lo’s attack. Bradshaw then picks D’Lo up and sends him back down with a big clothesline.

Winner: Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw

[6:49] [D+]

After Bradshaw exits, the owner comes out, again to loud boos. He announces that the Tag Team Title and Light Heavyweight title will be awarded at In Your House. He says that the winners of the next two matches will take part in the title matches. First is Flash Flanagan against Flash Funk, then the New Age Outlaws against The DOA.

Flash Flanagan vs. Flash Funk

The matchup of the two Flashes is dominated by Funk. His aerial assault is too much for Flanagan to contend with.

Winner: Flash Funk

[6:39] [E+]

New Age Outlaws w/ Chyna vs. The DOA

The Outlaws take it to The DOA from the start. The Outlaws manage to win the match cleanly, without interference from Chyna.

Winner: New Age Outlaws

[10:24] [D+]

Our owner reappears, congratulating Flash Funk and the New Age Outlaws. He announces that next week we will see The Legion of Doom take on The Godwinns for the second spot in the Tag Team Title match at In Your House. In the Light Heavyweight category, we will see TAKA Michinoku take on Jose Estrada for a spot in the title match. He then announces that the Jarrett/Hart tag match is up next, if each man could find a partner.

Jeff Jarrett and Goldust w/ Luna vs. Ken Shamrock and Owen Hart

Shamrock goes after Goldust in the beginning of the match. They both stay in longer than they should have, resulting in both men being down in the middle of the ring. They both crawl toward their corners. Both eventually tag out at the same time, and Owen and Jeff charge each other. They brawl back and forth until Owen gets Jeff down on the mat. Owen slows the pace with a variety of holds. Goldust jumps in to try to break a hold, but Shamrock tackles him before he can get there. With Goldust tied up, Owen can apply the Sharpshooter uninterrupted. Jeff can do nothing but tap out.

Winner: Ken Shamrock and Owen Hart

[9:49] [b-]

Steve Austin, Mankind, and The Undertaker vs. Kane, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H w/ Chyna

The match starts out normally, with one superstar from each team in the ring at a time. But it soon turns into a seven person brawl, with Chyna getting involved when referee Earl Hebner is distracted. The match ends after a chain reaction of finishing moves. Shawn hits Sweet Chin Music on Mankind, Austin hits the Stunner on Shawn, Kane chokeslams Austin, The Undertaker Chokeslams Kane, and finally Triple H Pedigrees The Undertaker. Triple H is the only man left standing, and easily covers The Undertaker for the win.

Winner: Kane, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H

[18:20]

The Owner then walks out, slowly clapping. Triple H glares at him from the ring as RAW goes off the air.

Jerry Lawler: Hey JR, do you think the owner’s going to come out here and yap to start things off?

Jim Ross: We can only hope he doesn’t. Well folks, it looks like we’re being pleasantly surprised by having things start off with a match. Maybe this owner jackass isn’t here tonight.

Ahmed Johnson vs. Kama Mustafa w/ D’Lo Brown

Ahmed Johnson controls the match throughout. The only way Kama stays in it is D’Lo’s constant interference and distractions. Ahmed pulls through with the win anyway.

Winner: Ahmed Johnson

[6:50] [D+]

After the match, as Ahmed is heading to the locker room, D’Lo gets on the mic, saying that The Nation could use somebody like Ahmed, especially since they're going to be losing a member soon. Ahmed just shakes his head and keeps walking.

Jim Ross: Next up is the second matchup to determine placement in the Light Heavyweight Title match at In Your House.

Jose Estrada vs. TAKA Michinoku

The match starts off well for Estrada, but then TAKA hits the Michinoku Driver out of nowhere and makes the pin.

Winner: TAKA Michinoku

[4:09] [D-]

Jim Ross: So that settles it. At In Your House we’ll see Flash Funk take on TAKA Michinoku for the Light Heavyweight Title!

With that, the owner finally makes his entrance.

Owner: Good evening. I see that everyone seems to be in a good mood. Good, because you’re going to see a title match right now. Blackman against Vega for the Euro Title!

European Title Match

“The Lethal Weapon” Steve Blackman vs. Savio Vega w/ Dawn Marie

Vega looks rusty, and Blackman takes full advantage. Using every martial arts move known to man, Blackman wins the European Title.

Winner: “The Lethal Weapon Steve Blackman”

[6:01] [D]

After the match, the camera spots current ECW worker Rob Van Dam sitting in the front row. As Blackman exits the ring, RVD hops the barrier and attacks him. The new owner comes running out.

Owner: Security! Security! Who let him in here? Get him the hell out! Actually….wait a second. I have a brilliant idea. This Sunday at In Your House, Steve Blackman will defend his European Title against Rob Van Dam! If Paul Heyman has a problem with it he can call a lawyer. If he can afford one, that is. Ahahahaha. Ah yes, before I forget: At In Your House, we will also see Ahmed Johnson face Goldust for the Intercontinental Title!

Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw vs. Mabel

D’Lo Brown does not come to the ring with Mabel, and Mabel sure could have used the help. He does however get many chances to examine the ceiling of the Municipal Auditorium. Bradshaw is putting together a nice winning streak.

Winner: Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw

[4:45] [D]

Jim Ross: The winner of the next match will face the New Age Outlaws for the Tag Team Titles this Sunday at the Pay-Per-View.

The Godwinns vs. The Legion of Doom

The Godwinns are completely overmatched in this bout. Before you can say “stupid puns,” the LOD hit the Doomsday Device on both H.O.G. and P.I.G. and secure their shot at the Tag Titles.

Winner: The Legion of Doom

[8:09] [D]

Just after the bell rings, the New Age Outlaws come out. Road Dogg says that the Outlaws will easily recapture the titles that were stolen from them. The Outlaws then leave, with LOD following close behind. The owner then comes out.

Owner: If I recall correctly, we still have three slots to fill for the six man elimination match at In Your House. How about, the first two superstars to get to the ring will have a match. The winner gets a spot in the elimination match.

With that, Faarooq, Jeff Jarrett, Mankind, and The Rock all charge to the ring. Jeff Jarrett trips Faarooq and The Rock, so he and Mankind are the first two to the ring.

Owner: Alright, we’ve got Jeff Jarrett against Mankind. Faarooq, Rock, hang tight. You guys will be up next.

Jim Ross: Oh mah gawd! Faarooq and The Rock have to face off? The two leaders of The Nation? How will that turn out?

Jerry Lawler: Will you quit worrying about that? We’ve got a match to cover before that.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Mankind

Most of the match is fairly uninteresting. Some decent brawling is going on, but not much else. That is, until Owen Hart again tries to interfere in a Jeff Jarrett match. This time, the referee stops him before he can get in the ring. This gives Jarrett a chance to grab his guitar and smash it over Mankind’s head. The referee turns around just in time to count to three.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

[9:42] [b+]

Owner: Faarooq and Rock, please get in the ring.

Faarooq: You know, the last few weeks I’ve been trying to challenge someone to a match. I could never quite get it all out before being interrupted. This week, I have a feeling it’ll be different. The punk I’ve been trying to call out is…you, Rock.

*the crowd gasps*

Faarooq: Yes, you. You think you’re so suave. You think you’re so great in the ring. You even dare to think that you are the leader of The Nation. Well not so fast my soon-to-be-injured friend. After tonight, you’ll be an example of what The Nation can do to its enemies. Damn.

As Faarooq finishes his tirade, Mabel, D’Lo Brown, and Kama Mustafa sneak into the ring behind The Rock. The Rock turns around, and is shocked to see his former friends waiting to attack him. D’Lo runs at him first, but The Rock throws him out of the ring. Next is Kama, who is met with a Rock Bottom. Then comes big Mabel, who Rock sends to the canvas with a big clothesline.

The crowd is roaring in favor of The Rock, when Faarooq grabs him from behind. He slams him down to the mat, silencing the crowd. After a few stomps, Faarooq picks him up and hits him with a Dominator. A fresh D’Lo then throws a chair into the ring. Faarooq wastes no time in using it. He targets The Rock’s knees with shot after shot. This continues until the owner appears, as The Rock writhes in pain.

Owner: What do we have here? It seems Faarooq is afraid to share the spotlight. It’s too bad for you that when I said “You guys will be up next,” I meant as partners in a tag team match. Since you’ve left The Rock unable to compete, it looks like you’ll have to fight alone, in a handicap match.

Owner: It is now time for me to pick your opponents. Owen, please come back out. I promise not to ring the bell until you tap.

Owen walks to the ring.

Owner: You interfered in the last match. I know it didn’t turn out how you would have liked, but I appreciate your initiative. I appreciate it so much, that I am naming you as one half of the team that will face Faarooq. As for the other half… I’ll let him announce himself.

*bell tolls*

The crowd pops as The Undertaker makes his way to the ring.

Owner: That’s right Faarooq, you will face Owen Hart and The Undertaker. The winning team will be awarded the final two spots in Sunday’s elimination match. And Faarooq, the partner I assigned you is The Rock, so if you can somehow manage to win, he will be in the elimination match with you. If you lose, as I know you will, you will face The Rock at In Your House.

Faarooq vs. Owen Hart and The Undertaker

Owen and The Undertaker get off to a good start, frequently tagging out while trying to wear down Faarooq. When they feel Faarooq has been worn down enough, The Undertaker picks him up for a Tombstone Piledriver. Before he can unload it, the same men who took down The Rock run out to the ring. Faarooq distracts the referee while Kama occupies Owen, and D’Lo and Mabel double team The Undertaker. Eventually Owen knocks Kama out of the ring and comes over to help his partner. He throws D’Lo from the ring, and the two of them knock out Mabel. The referee then turns around and chastises the other Nation members for being at ringside. As he faces the outside, The Rock slides into the ring and hobbles toward Faarooq, chair in hand. It seems that amidst the excitement of the Owen Hart/Undertaker announcement, everyone forgot that The Rock was left lying at ringside after the attack on him. The crowd cheers him on, and he eventually makes it to Faarooq and gets his revenge. One hard chair shot to the head was all it takes, and The Rock limps back out of the ring as the crowd goes wild. The referee hears the shot, turns around, and assumes The Undertaker hit a Tombstone. Owen makes the cover, and he and The Undertaker are set to be in the elimination match.

Winner: Owen Hart and The Undertaker

[12:19] [C+]

As Owen and The Undertaker celebrate in the ring, Kane, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H walk out. The five men engage in an intense staredown, before Kane starts walking toward the ring. While Shawn and Triple H stare into the ring, Jeff Jarrett sneaks up behind them and plants a guitar over the head of Shawn Michaels, then DDT’s Triple H onto the stage. Meanwhile, Kane and The Undertaker brawl in the ring, and Owen jumps out of the ring to pursue Jarrett. This is a preview of In Your House!

Pretty good so far. Would have preferred a build up to the new onscreen owner. Otherwise, it could turn into Mr McMahon's character under a new name. Aside from that, solid.

IC Title: I'll take Ahmed. No need to switch the belt off so quickly.

LHW: Taka should go over. He IS the Lightheavyweight division.

Vader over Bradshaw - maybe you can build it up more for future PPVs.

Euro: RVD over Blackman. Why bring RVD in if he's going to job to Blackman. Besides, Euro is low enough that it's not a Jesus push.

Shamrock over Kama - Shamrock should be moving up to bigger things.

SC & Mankind over D'Lo & Mabel - Do I need a reason?

NAO over LOD - Out with the old, in with the new.

Owen Hart in the 6 man match. After the screwjob, it would be nice to see him get to the top.

Jim Ross: Good evening folks, and welcome to In Your House. Tonight we will see several titles up for grabs, but the event everyone is focusing on is the six man elimination match to determine who will enter next month’s Royal Rumble match last. Our new owner tells us that the Rumble will play an important role in the future of the company. But before that we’ve got eight exciting bouts to watch. First up is Ahmed Johnson against Goldust for the vacant Intercontinental Title!

Intercontinental Title Match

Ahmed Johnson vs. Goldust w/ Luna

Goldust’s typical antics do not get to Ahmed Johnson. Instead, they seemed to make him even more intense. The match stays fairly even, with Ahmed holding the slight advantage. Goldust gets some momentum going, and tries for a bulldog. He hits it, and makes the cover. Ahmed kicks out at the last second. Goldust tries for another bulldog, but Ahmed stops it. He whips Goldust off the ropes and hits a big spinebuster for the win.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Ahmed Johnson

As Ahmed walks down the ramp, the Nation of Domination’s music plays. Out walks D’Lo Brown, who last week offered Johnson a spot in the Nation. He again tries to convince Ahmed to join the stable. Ahmed keeps walking toward D’Lo, not giving any response. The two meet, and briefly stare at each other. After a few seconds, Ahmed simply walks away, heading to the back. D’Lo looks frustrated.

Light Heavyweight Title Match

Flash Funk vs. TAKA Michinoku

The match nobody cared about turned into one of the closest matches of the night. Both men try to gain the upper hand, but it never happens. Both competitors fly all over the ring, hitting all kinds of high risk maneuvers. Flash eventually makes his way to the outside. TAKA climbs up to the top rope, and comes off just as Flash turns around. At the last moment, Flash moves and TAKA comes down hard on the Spanish announce table. TAKA goes down in a heap, and Flash takes his turn to come off the top rope. The difference is, Flash connects. As the referee gets to 8 in his count, Flash slides TAKA back in. Before he can get in, TAKA is up. He hits Flash hard, and then tries for the Michinoku Driver. Flash flips over TAKA and tries for a roll up. One, two , three. Flash Funk is the new Light Heavyweight Champion!

Winner and new Light Heavyweight Champion: Flash Funk

After the match the men shake hands, and the crowd gives them a loud response.

Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw vs. Vader

Both men enter to loud cheers. Early on, Vader slams Bradshaw hard. The effects of this slam last the rest of the match. Bradshaw is left slow and weak. Vader finally decides to bring the match home, and hits a big power bomb for the win.

Winner: Vader

After the match, Bradshaw goes on the attack against the man who just defeated him. The fans are shocked that their beloved Bradshaw would attack another beloved worker. Bradshaw limps out of the ring to a harsh reaction.

European Title Match

Rob Van Dam vs. “The Lethal Weapon” Steve Blackman

ECW’s Rob Van Dam starts out strong against “The Lethal Weapon”. The two eventually begin exchanging martial arts moves. The fans cheer the impressive sight. Things turn ugly when RVD grabs a chair from the outside. He gets Blackman reeling, then hits the Van Daminator. The referee calls for the disqualification. Van Dam looks shocked, as if he didn’t know that it was illegal to use a chair.

Winner and still European Champion: “The Lethal Weapon” Steve Blackman

As the bell rings, the new owner comes out.

Owner: Rob, you’ve got a lot to learn. I brought you in to win the title from that piece of crap, and then you go and get yourself disqualified. I now know that your kind will never be successful in this business.

With that the owner leaves.

Kama Mustafa w/ D’Lo Brown vs. Ken Shamrock

Shamrock demolishes Kama for the duration of the match. He attempts an ankle lock, but D’Lo jumps up on the apron. Shamrock charges, knocking off D’Lo, then runs back at Kama, who is now on his feet. He tackles Kama and applies another ankle lock. Kama quickly taps.

Winner: Ken Shamrock

World Tag Team Title Match

The Legion of Doom vs. New Age Outlaws w/ Chyna

The ****y New Age Outlaws quickly find out why The Legion of Doom have been so successful. The LOD pound the Road Dogg, then set up the Doomsday Device. As the Dogg is up, Chyna gives Billy Gunn a chair. While the ref checks on the soon-to-be airborn Road Warrior, Billy Gunn hits the other one. He falls and Road Dogg lands on top of him. Billy throws the chair out of the ring before the ref can turn around. He then moves, leaving the airborn Road Warrior to hit the mat hard while Road Dogg makes the cover on the other one.

Winner and new Tag Team Champions: New Age Outlaws

D’Lo Brown and Mabel vs. Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold fights off the Nation by himself, refusing to tag in Mankind. When he gets backed into his own corner, Mankind tags himself in. This angers Austin, so he stays in the ring to fight D’Lo. With all four men in the ring, things start to get out of control. The referee gets in the way of a big right hand from Austin, and goes down. The brawl continues with no official. Suddenly Ahmed Johnson comes running to the ring, armed with a steel chair. He slides in the ring and taps D’Lo on the shoulder. He pulls back the chair, but then stops. D’Lo looks up to see Ahmed telling him to move. He does, and Ahmed cracks Austin with the chair. He then does the same to Mankind. The Nation then cover Austin as Ahmed gets the referee upright. He counts the one, two, three.

Winner: D’Lo Brown and Mabel

[6:36] [C]

After the match, Ahmed, D’Lo, and Mabel continue their assault on Austin and Mankind. Kama Mustafa comes out to join in the fun. After the attack, Ahmed, D’Lo, Kama, and Mabel embrace. It looks like Ahmed Johnson is the newest member of The Nation!

Faarooq w/ The Nation vs. The Rock

The odds do not look good for The Rock, as Faarooq’s lackeys surround the ring. Faarooq continually throws The Rock to the side of the ring and then distracts the referee, allowing The Nation to take some good shots at The Rock. Eventually Kama’s opponent from earlier in the night, Ken Shamrock, has seen enough and comes running out. He single handedly takes out D’Lo, Mabel, and Kama, then sets his sights for Ahmed. The two brawl outside the ring, as Faarooq and The Rock finally engage in a fair match. As Shamrock holds Ahmed in an ankle lock outside the ring, The Rock hits Faarooq with a Rock Botttom.

Winner: The Rock

Six Man Elimination Match for Spot Number 30 at the Royal Rumble

Jeff Jarrett vs. Kane vs. Owen Hart vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Triple H and Shawn Michaels begin the match outside the ring, letting the other four brawl. Predictably, Owen Hart takes on Jeff Jarrett, and The Undertaker fights with Kane. Kane eventually comes over and knocks down Owen. Jarrett then comes out of the ring to bring DX into the fight.

Owen and Jarrett go back to fighting, as DX and Kane triple team The Undertaker. Taker gets DX down as Owen and Jarrett make their way toward the brothers. A touching moment occurs when The Undertaker and Kane look at each other, nod, and join hands to hit Owen and Jarrett with a double clothesline. The emotional moment ends when they start pounding on each other. DX stand Jarrett up and Triple H hits him with a pedigree, perhaps as revenge for Monday night’s guitar smashing festivities. Triple H covers, and Jarrett is the first man eliminated.

Now Owen Hart and The Undertaker fight side by side against Kane and DX. Owen soon figures out that it will take more several men to eliminate The Undertaker. He starts to pound away at The Undertaker as well. Four men is too much for The Undertaker to contend with, and he is tombstoned by Kane and eliminated. And then there were four…

Shawn Michaels hit Owen with sweet chin music, and Owen goes down. Triple H and Shawn turn to Kane, who stares back. Kane then does the DX crotch chop, causing DX to jump with excitement and the crowd to go wild. Shawn and Triple H turn to the crowd to egg on their cheers. When they turn back around Kane grabs both of them by the throat. He delivers a crushing double chokeslam. He pins Triple H for the elimination. By this time, Owen Hart is back up. He applies the sharpshooter to Shawn Michaels and can be heard screaming “This is for Bret.” Shawn eventually taps, leaving Owen Hart and Kane as the last two competitors.

Shawn Michaels causes a ruckus at ringside, causing referee Earl Hebner to chastise him. As Hebner’s back is turned, Triple H rolls in and delivers a pedigree to Kane. He rolls out and exits with Michaels. Owen covers Kane. The referee counts.

One…

Two…

Kane kicks out.

Owen is in shock. Triple H and Shawn return to the stage area and look furious. They continue watching from there. Owen then makes the mistake of trying for a sharpshooter on Kane. He applies it, but Kane does not tap out. After two minutes in the hold, the referee demands that Owen release it. Kane simply stands up and chokeslams Owen. He covers him and the referee counts.

One…

Two…

Thr…

Owen kicks out. The crowd erupts. Kane has had enough. He picks up Owen for the tombstone. DX start running toward the ring. Before they can get there, they are blindsided by Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin, preventing DX from stopping the tombstone.

Kane hits the tombstone and makes the cover.

One…

Two…

Three!

Kane will be the last man to enter next month’s Royal Rumble!!!

Winner: Kane

[25:49] [b-]

Jim Ross: Why in the hell would Austin and Mankind stop DX from interfering in the match? Are Austin and Mankind in cahoots with Kane???

At this moment, The Undertaker returns to battle with Kane. Jeff Jarrett also comes back with a guitar, which he smashes on the dazed Owen Hart’s head. Austin and Mankind continue battling with DX on the ramp.

The mystery owner walks out to the stage, surveys the mayhem, and slowly applauds. The camera zooms in on the owner’s face, and fades out.

Final Rating: C+ The Undertaker was slightly over-used. This show can be considered a success, it should have increased our popularity.

wtf @ Taker being overused :o

I'll send a PM to the winner in a few hours.

LOL @ Janitor, I was just thinking that after watching Scrubs dvds and then reading this.

Btw, good show and I like the thread so far it's very interesting.

If you don't watch Scrubs he is The Janitor, a character who after 7 seasons (now the beginning of 8) has not yet revealed his real name.

Well, that's not entirely true, there was an episode called "My Friend, The Doctor" where JD finds out that he's pretending to be other people, then finally sees him whilst watching "The Fugitive" in which Neil Flynn played a Transit Cop who tries to take down Richard Kimble, and then the following happened :

J.D.: So, I've been asking around, and apparently you're known as one of three people: Nigel, the Brit; Klaus, the dim-witted German -- yes, I said "dim-witted -- or a simple, good-natured stutterer named Efrem.

Am I the only one that knows the real you?

Janitor: Who says this is the real me? [british accent] Perhaps this is? [German accent] Or this.

(I personally think that they're going to reveal him to actually be Neil Flynn at the end of the series/season - apparently it's going to be one of the last shots of the show, Janitor revealing his identity to JD)

Yeah I know I'm a Scrubs freak but in that episode the name Neil Flynn was never mentioned, JD just found out he was in the Fugitive.

But anyway we are totally off topic, when's the next show going to be posted pate?

I know Neil Flynn was never brought up in that episode - but I think it'll be hilarious if at the end of the series (this season) when JD asks him his name, he tells him that he's just plain ol' Neil Flynn

Sorry to keep the off-topic going there Pate - keep up the good work, can't wait to read the next show!
