Kobe1724 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 workers are rated much more on performance than popularity? Possible?
Hyde Hill Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Much more is hard but more is doable. Traditional + Lucha + Realism + Modern should give it with trad and lucha as Very High/Key and modern and realism and maybe alos pure on Medium.
James Casey Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Remianen, I think, came up with the product for 2007 that works just as well on this version, I believe... http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showthread.php?t=25269 is the thread to check.
Blackman Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I am playing TEW with one myself atm. The settings: Key: Realism Medium: Modern, Pure, Mainstream, Traditional, Comedy, Lucha It's favorable to sponsorship, while at the same time more oriented towards skill. It's a smart mainstream adaptation to BHOTWG, cutting the hyper realism element that destroys its marketability. I should put the match/angle settings on 80%, the match intensity on 60% (with 40% danger). Remi's setting doesn't really make a lot of sense for me since Traditional and Modern are both opposite ends of the same pole. Ok, maybe not opposite, but setting both as key settings doesn't make all that much sense to me. I can't imagine a product like it anyhow. How can your workers be consistently flying around the ring in a hot pace, while maintaining that traditional element in the whole match. They can be combined for sure, but not on a key level. Making a promotion like that seems a lot like powergaming to me, unless he can come here and legitimise his choice himself.
Blackman Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I just realise that 5SSW, for one, is set to have Modern and Traditional both as key settings. It's still a bit odd to me so someone'll have to explain what this is.
Moe Hunter Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Well I would imagine it's something like TNA circa 2005. You have the X-Division doing all their fast paced stuff, and then guys like Sting and Jarrett slowing down the Main Event with their Traditional stuff. They were both pushed as major/key features of the TNA product. I say circa 2005, 'coz that's the only time I really watched TNA with any regularity. I've no diea about their product either side of that time.
Blackman Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Ok, but you'll be forced to create a brand split here since the game will probably not make a distinction between traditional workers like Sting etc. and Modern workers like Daniels and AJ. In TEW, a brand split can put an emphasis on either type, though I've never tried it.
Kobe1724 Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Remianen can I use your product in my mod? It's... the greatest thing I've ever seen...
