dnmt Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 ...and how does this work? Will a semi-active wrestler only work certain shows? Big shows or small shows, or certain months? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
FINisher Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I think that it's not the size of the show, it's the amount of show's: Semi-active talent will get frustrated (Angry, the mood lowers etc.) much more sooner if you use them too much.
pepper2008 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Semi-active are workers that are about to retire in a month (this does not to those workers who start at semi-active but you will notice that they are at the Terminal Decline screen). They wont re-sign in any of their contracts. Try re-signing Alysian Scotfield when you play NOTBPW (he wont re-sign) About them being over-used I have no idea as I have no complains when I use them.
Derek B Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 As ever, I can't be 100% sure but I believe Semi-Active workers expect to be used on fewer shows than a normal active worker... and given that a semi active guy could be over enough to feature anywhere on your card, this is kinda the ideal setting for those veteran workers who wish to work a reduced schedule. It's generally used by workers close to retirement, but has been used by Adam to simulate Donny Damage's very, very part time approach to wrestling. This isn't meant that any part time wrestler should be set there, but Damage was an active wrestler who never expected to wrestle from month to month... I hope that's clear enough. These days its guys like Larry Vessey and Dread who are more likely to fit the role, over vets who show up every now and again but who aren't expected to wrestle often and are unlikely to be winning any title belts any time soon.
