Adam Ryland Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 A few people have been in touch asking as to the whereabouts of Steve "Undertaker666" Smith as he's not posted for a couple of months; I phoned him earlier today and the reason he's been offline is that he spent a few weeks in hospital following a nasty car accident, and while he was away somebody broke into his house and stole his PC. Hardly a great Christmas He said he would be back online once he gets a new computer sorted out. I thought I'd post the info here given how many people have asked about him.
panix04 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 man, 'taker is a legend! All the best dude (you can't read this, but im also transmitting it telepathically!) Can't wait to have you back
Blasphemywebleed Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Yup I miss the lil guy. My thoughts are with him. Panix is right, he is a legend*. * Legendary status not valid in England. Legendary status will expire 12:00 9th January 2009.
FINisher Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 It must cheer him a bit for him to know that he's being missed here in the forums.. That's a harsh christmas time I wouldn't wish to anyone. Best wishes.
Antithesis Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Man that sucks to hear that. Hope you get well soon UT!
Hyde Hill Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Get well soon mate from all your TEW friends.
djthefunkchris Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Ditto. There is nothing I can add to this that already hasn't been said. We all miss you, my friend.
Clarity Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I did warn him about the perils of driving, while flirting with loud snoring women, whilst having a beer in one hand, a cigarette hanging out his mouth and trying to render on a laptop using voice commands. But would the boy listen....

He couldn't call himself a renderer if he didn't. We did say he was losing his touch
theoutlaw321 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I did warn him about the perils of driving, while flirting with loud snoring women, whilst having a beer in one hand, a cigarette hanging out his mouth and trying to render on a laptop using voice commands. But would the boy listen.... There had to be a rubber duck and a midget there as well. We all know UT. Dude, I just PMed you last week, wondering where you were. I hate to hear what happened. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully you will be back soon, causing mischief as you always do. Take care bud, you know you are missed!
mjdgoldeneye Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I wish him the best and hope to see him back soon!
FINisher Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 .. Reading these comments it makes me feel like he's out for months or having a serious disease, when he's infact just lacking a computer at the moment .. And recovering from a car accident which we don't know much. Hope you're okay still, don't get me wrong.
James Casey Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Yeah, what everyone else has said, basically. Sucks to have had the robbery on top of everything else. Hope that it's all insured, so nothing much is lost. Tell him to take care of himself - or if you get to read this, UT, take care!
tjb000 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Dang, this is sad news. I didn't know him that well, but it's still sad to hear when someone gets in an accident. On top of that, you get your computer stolen. I guess there's nothing to say that hasn't been said already. Hope you get to feeling 100% soon. Losing a computer really sucks just as much too. All that hard work you put into it, then some *inserts some dirty words* person decides to steal your computer.
AfRoMaN36 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Well, you can't keep The Undertaker down. You can take him down momentarily.... but you can't kill him. I'm sure he'll be just fine, I wish him a speedy recovery though.
Thomnipotent Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Best wishes for a quick and good recovery, and hopefully some good karma coming around. Be well, buddy.
Trell Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Hope he gets well soon. I miss the hilarious conversations between him and Clairity/Blasphemy. Pure comedy
VBigB Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Just thought i would jump in and echo everyone elses words. Get well soon Taker.
Blasphemywebleed Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I miss the hilarious conversations between him and Clairity/Blasphemy. Pure comedy I take offence to that, we have nothing but deep meaningful conversations
Guest cmdrsam Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I would like to pass on get well wishes as well. What a string of bad luck. And I thought I was the only one who had bad luck on the holidays.
Tyler Gadzinski Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 That sounds like such a horrible christmas.. at least he had a good excuse to ask for a new computer for christmas.. I hope the future gets better for 'Taker.
