Since no one's answering on a forum where there are hundreds logged in at once...

Firefox just updated itself without my permission, and as soon as it was done... every connection on my 360 went off... as well as the bridge connection from the PC to the 360.

I rebooted the tower... the 360... the router... the modem... still refuses to acknowledge anything is hooked up.

Anyone know what the heck I can do? I've been running this off a wireless router with the USB plugged from the 360 directly into the tower... and I know there's nothing wrong with the hook-up... and I can't figure out why everything clicked off when Firefox updated.

You sure it was Firefox that updated and not some sort of virus?

If it was Firefox causing it.... gah. It did something to your Windows internet settings. Most likely turned off connection sharing if you had it active.

I dunno, but I even checked my Firefox settings and it says I'm set to have to manually update it.

For some reason Live came back on... but it still says I have no PC connection... even though the only way for me to have Live is through the PC connection.

I can get rid of worms and trojans.... trounce on viruses and do all sorts of crap. My web browser updates itself and the gates of Hell are opened.

I am wondering how ever just what icon is missing in my Control Panel all of a sudden;

PS... ignore the Batman icons. :D

PPS... I cannot recall how to configure what boots up when Windows boots. I want to shut a few things off from booting cause I always end up exiting them right off anyways... I just can't remember where to go. Can anyone help?
