He wanted to get back in the business in some way and Mr. McMahon only wanted him for publicity and that was it. Austin wasn't happy and asked for his release from his "legends" contract. He then got in contact with me and asked if i was serious about my talks of getting a promotion off the ground. See, i grew up next to the mcMahon's myself. I was always playing with Shane and Stephanie. Shane and I even played on the same hockey teams as kids. Well enough jibba jabber, my name is Denis McLaughlin. I worked briefly in the AWA before it's demise. Now i am working on starting up my own promotion and the only name i have is Austin, Steve Austin. The first thing i did was contact several workers. RVD Sean Morley Elijah Burke Paul London Road Warrior Animal The Briscoes Sabu Kenny Dykstra Austin Aires among many others. Once we get the workers under contract we will work on setting up several shows to get the product out there and then TV and PPV deals. This my friends, will be The WWA.
