Motive
RPW: Massacre Augusta Civic Centre Attendance: 5,000 The show kicks off with “Let It Rock” letting the world know RPW: Massacre’s Debut Show has started. Duane Fry and Phil Vibert welcome us to the debut show before being cut off by Nemesis who is in the ring. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Nemesis_alt1.jpg N: Ladies and Gentleman, allow me to introduce to you RPW’s First…….Last Man Standing………..”The Traditionalist” Eric Tyler! “Inside the Fire” by Disturbed starts to play as from the back walks out Eric Tyler, flanked by a man in a referee shirt, and a hooded figure! The stepped into the ring as Eric Tyler took the microphone from Nemesis. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/EricTyler_nachtfalter011.jpg ET: (Looking at his watch) Exactly how long did it take me to jump to the top? I estimate that it took all of 2 hours. And in those two hours, I showed you all that Eric Tyler is still the same ass kicking, name collecting bad ass that ran DAVE. A chance at immortality was presented to nineteen other men…………and I took it from all of them. And at The Final Fight, I will take the RPW World Heavyweight Title, and begin my final reign at the top. The legacy I will leave you all with before I retire………….will be my dominance! Eric Tyler smirked, infuriating the 5,000 in the Augusta Civic Centre. Eric then signalled the two men who had accompanied him to step forward. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/BobbyThomas.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/NateJohnson.jpg ET: These two men, are the only two who will be allowed to bask in my glorious final run and the only two who will benefit from it, and my vast knowledge. Ladies and Gentleman, this is the greatest tag team in the world………..”All Business” Bobby Thomas and “The Natural” Nate Johnson…………..The Specialists! And together, the three of us will run this entire promotion. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/LobsterWarrior_alt2.jpg Police Sirens started to blare around the arena as “Rockin with the G.O.A.T” by LL Cool J started to play, Chris Morrisette coming out from the back, fists taped, wrestling attire on, as the crowd cheered. It was evident that he hadn’t come to talk, as within seconds he was running down to the ring, which caused Eric Tyler and The Specialists to clear the ring. Chris picks up the microphone that Eric dropped. CM: First it was a mask, now it’s an old man and his two fanboys. I’ve been robbed of my opportunity to shine for years. No longer will I accept it, no longer will I take it lying down. One by one, I will prove that you can screw me, but you will never keep me down. And I’m going to start with Mr. Natural, right now! RATING: B- Singles Match Nate Johnson vs. Chris Morrisette http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/NateJohnson.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/LobsterWarrior_alt2.jpg A good if not spectacular match kicked off Massacre as the popular Chris went up against a less popular figure in Nate Johnson. Apart from the Fly Boys and New Wave, the tag team division isn’t filled with the most popular names. However Nate can go and did a good job at playing the heel trying to keep Chris at bay. However there was no stopping Chris, as he out wrestled Nate convincingly and won, making Nate tap out to the Shock Treatment (Ankle Hold). WINNER: Chris Morrisette RATING: C+ Eric Tyler sends Bobby Thomas down to the ring from where they had been watching at the top of the ramp. Bobby slide and attempts to attack Chris, only to find himself laid out with the Shell Shock. Chris Morrisette jumped back to his feet and literally begged Eric to try his luck, but Eric simply shook his head and headed to the back. RATING: D+ Tag Team Match The Samoan Wrecking Crew vs. New Wave http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/RhinoUmaga_SWC21.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/SamoanMachine_SWC1.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Guide.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Scout.jpg The next match showcased another team in our tag division, the pair of Samoan Machine and Rhino Umaga. Both big names in Japan that Nemesis managed to acquire for Rapid Pro. Exactly how is unknown, but rumour has it that Samoan Machine has been promised to BHOTWG in two years time. However despite how promising they are as a tag team, New Wave looked strong after their Pay Per View defeat and picked up the win. WINNERS: New Wave RATING: C- Singles Match Fumihiro Ota vs. Ultimate Phoenix http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/FumihiroOta_alt71.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/UltimatePhoenix.jpg It clicked from the first seconds to the final bell. Ultimate Phoenix and Fumihiro Ota worked this match like they’d been doing it for years. Yes, they were told exactly how to play it out, but they then took what they were told to do, and did it better. Ultimate Phoenix came out with the win when he hit Fumihiro Ota with a Phoenix Firebird Spin (Cielo Perfecto Uno), introducing the world to the new move. WINNER: Ultimate Phoenix RATING: C Singles Match Jack Geidroyc vs. Plague http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JackGiedroyc61.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/BlackEagle_alt3.jpg And the matches just keep getting better. Jack was in this to make Plague pay for his sins due to his involvement in the cowardly attack on Steve Flash at the Pay Per View. Plague seemed to not be disturbed or worried about Jack’s vengeful intent, and kept up with Jack at the beginning of the match. But Jack wasn’t to be denied as a second member of the Cult fell tonight to a Crashing On. WINNER: Jack Giedroyc RATING: B- Jack stood in the middle of the ring as the lights faded just slightly. No microphone was brought over to him as he stared out into the crowd. “Sin is a tragic happening to everyone who has lived past the age of accountability. Sin destroys and cripples lives to the point of uselessness. Look at the alcoholic, the wife beater, or the adulterer; and you will see the true face of sin. Cult of Grey Dragon, I will not let you be unaccountable. I will do what the lord cannot, I will be his wrath. And I will save you, punish you and let you be accountable.” As Jack finish’s speaking, he looks over at Plague, and Raven Nightfall who has come in to kneel by Plague’s side. Singles Match Phenomenal E vs. Johnny Bloodstone http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/PhenomenalE.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JohnnyBloodstone_alt1.jpg A Good match, if not predictable. Phenomenal E did his best to keep away from Bloodstone’s stretching submissions and powerful throws and takedowns, but found that even though his tactic may have been sound, it was hard to follow through with. Carl Batch accompanied Bloodstone to the ring, berating any fan that dared to boo the technical genius that was his client, as Bloodstone picked up the win with the Bloodstone Mutilation. WINNER: Johnny Bloodstone RATING: C+ Singles Match William Hayes vs. Casey Valentine http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/WilliamHayes_alt1.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/CaseyValentine_nacht011.jpg A pretty poor match in comparison to the ones that came before it! Casey Valentine is a lot more naturally gifted than his family relation, but still needs to learn a bit more about performing in front of such a big audience. William Hayes is no slouch in the ring. William Hayes ends the worst match of the night quickly with a Slick Trick. WINNER: William Hayes RATING: D+ Singles Match Joanne Rodriguez vs. Roz Lorren http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JoanneRodriguez.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/RozLarren.jpg The Number One Contender for Wanda Fish’s women’s title stayed strong in this contest, going through the new girl to the division in Roz Lorren. Roz put up a small fight at the beginning, but she was no match for Joanne. WINNER: Joanne Rodriguez RATING: C- Joanne headed backstage, turning heads on her way back to her locker room, just as she always did. However standing at the entrance to her locker room was Wanda Fish. WF: Everyone loves to rant and rave about you, and how great you look. Is J-Ro really coming to town, she’s so amazing…………..but while you use you’re looks….(Wanda holds up her newly won RPW Women’s Title)……..I get it done. J-Ro flicks her hair back as she watches Wanda go to walk away. She pushes her locker room door open. JR: Not in Japan you don’t! RATING: C Singles Match Joey Minnesota vs. Danny Rose http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JoeyMinnesota.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JonRose.jpg The commentators made a big deal about this being one of the matches that Nemesis would be watching, to pick those worthy of fighting for the title and potentially going against Eric Tyler at Final Fight. And the two in the ring seemed to know this as well as they went all out to pick up the win, Danny Rose along with Sara Silver trying every dirty trick they could think of. The match might have been better if Danny Rose had been on his game, but the two still managed to excite the crowd, with a very well worked finished which saw Joey hit the Empire Spiral. WINNER: Joey Minnesota RATING: B- Joey Minnesota is about to celebrate when Carl Batch and Johnny Bloodstone walk out. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/CarlBatch.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JohnnyBloodstone_alt1.jpg CB: Congratulations on beating a wannabe celebrity, that comes in at the grand age of 18. I know you probably heard that Nemesis was watch, and you’re probably feeling pretty good about yourself. But allow me to introduce you to Eric Tyler’s opponent at Final Fight, the bone breaking baller……………Johnny Bloodstone! Johnny takes the microphone. JB: Joey, the loser you just beat might have made a big deal about you on his little webcam show…………but the Real Deal is right here. RATING: B- Main Event Art Reed vs. Sammy Bach http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Art20Reed_FIN1.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/SammyBachEMO1.jpg Fortunately we saved the best match for last as Art Reed, who came close to reaching the Main Event at Last Man Standing went up against Sammy Bach, who many feel only got as far as he did because of the shenanigans of CotGD, having Acid in his battle royal match and spending a good portion of that match outside the ring. However Sammy would prove his worth in this main event by managing to keep up with the technically gifted Art Reed, who has only got better since his time in Japan on tour, managing to hit the Bach on you’re Back for the win. WINNER: Sammy Bach RATING: B Having just won his match, Sammy wasn’t given time to celebrate as The Last Man Standing appeared on the videotron. ET: Sammy Bach, Joey Minnesota, Johnny Bloodstone or Chris Morrisette. It doesn’t matter who it is………………..nobody will stop me! At Final Fight, I’ll still be the Last Man Standing…………and you’ll all just be part of my legacy! RATING: B+ RATING: C+ TV RATING: 0.
