Official Major Upsets Thread

Duane Weatherly has beaten Aaron McBroom twice in my current GAMMA game. At GAMMA 42 1999 Weatherly scored a RD 2 KO so its now 2000 and at GAMMA 60 the rematch. Mcbroom is on a three fight winning streak and has good pop Mid National. Weatherly is on a losing streak so i expected Weatherly to get KO'd and McBroom would avenge his loss and then fight Morrison. But Weatherly get a first round KO :(. SO McBroom is back to fighting lower guys and now for Weatherly I am not sure. I will proubly feed him bad cans and maybe get him some wins.

I set up a match between two women fighters, Saya Ikegami, a talented up and comer vs Sara Vaughan, a very respected veteran with a good record who's on their way out. On the day of the weigh in's Sara Vaughan decided to retire, so the game throws in a replacement...Manish Khan. I couldn't change it because it's the day of the weigh-ins, so I'm forced to sit and watch my first male vs female fight take place. It didn't end with an upset, but it did end with ME upset. This is the second time I've come across a glitch where the games default man steps in not caring. First he didn't care about the weight classes, now he doesn't care about gender.

The fans seemed to love it though so I guess I can't be too upset.

This honestly shocked me not so much because Hughes beat Foster but because he beat him in the first round.
