UFC-KING
http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/uu163/UFC-KING/REDSTORM/REDSTORM.jpg Disclaimer : No Line Guaranteed http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/uu163/UFC-KING/REDSTORM/AdamBurton.gif "The Day, January 1st, New Year's Day, the Man, Me, Adam Burton. I was working for GAMMA last year, and it was all working well, but then I found out about my boss. Matt Tripp, the biggest scammer in MMA History. I'll explain later. Anyways, Little backstory about myself. I'm 28 Years old, and come from Portsmouth, England. I moved to America in 1997, and started watching MMA the moment I got here. One of my friends that I had moved with to America, had basically flipped out over this "Ultimate Fighting" which I had never heard of. He basically gave me an extra ticket and brought me with him to the first show in Colorado, where I was living at the time. I fell in love that night, not with a person, with a sport. I was loving it. I remember just watching Guys like Mark Cohen straight up brawling with James Foster, guys like Buddy Garner and Neil Napier fighting. Anyways, you get the idea. So, when an opportunity that involved MMA came up, you could bet on it that I would try to be a part of it. So when GAMMA President Matt Tripp announced that their booker was fired, or "Canned" in the American Bernacular, I jumped at the opportunity. I mean, working with guys that I had just watched beat the Crap out of one and other, was a chance I could not pass up. I had never personally met Matt Tripp, and boy I should've. Anyways, I got the job, and Come 1998 I booked my first show. It was a Huge success. 10,000 Fans, live and in attendance. Don't know how much PPV revenue we got from it. Booked another, same thing. It was an adrenaline that only I could feel. It was like being on another level, going as High as you possibly can, and never hitting a low ! But then Matt Walked in the Room... "Kid, You're Doin' Great ! Those last two shows were spectacular !" Here's what I want booked for the next show" He explained to me how he wanted Sean Morrison to defend his Lightweight Championship against Kenny Magilton. But there was a Twist. "Since Kenny isn't really a top contender, he wouldn't mind to lose, so I want you to go talk to him, and pay him extra to do just that. You see, Morrison is a close friend of mine, and Friends are important to a guy like me. Morrison also brings in a lot of ratings and money, and I don't want a friend, to lose something important to him, and me lose money in the process." "Are You saying you want me to fix this fight ?" "Yes, and You'd better damn well do it, because If I lose money, it's coming from you." "I'm not fixing a fight, this isn't ****in' Pro Wrestling ! This is why I love MMA, because it's not fixed. That's all we have, are integrity. If people wanted scripted match ups they can go watch SWF or TCW. So if that's how it's going to be, I'm walking out" "You're Making a big mistake Kid !" "Whatever, you'd better be ready for some competition Matt..." "6 Months Later, REDSTORM MMA came to Fruition, and there's your Backstory. How's that for life experience ?" TheCreepingDeath
H.M. Menzel is such a beast. Time will show that Sagal was lucky to get to a decision, as Menzel's going to mow through most of the LW division. You just wait and see. Here's to REDSTORM, and I will be following this dynasty with high expectations.
