GCW with an "eh" show...not bad but not good....The National Television Title change is big, guess Hawk is getting the push....I expected more from Rich/Sawyer.....maybe the fans are still burned out on that one.

WWF again trying to copy the AWA with the 4 match card....didn't work so well for them though...Backlund/Stevens kinda saved it.

I think I've decided now, at this point, to post results only for the super cards and pay-per-views. It will speed up the process of the game, leaving out dry spells.

I have a couple of ideas in my mind for the direction to go from here. Right now I am going to try typing up a preview for each of the major 4 companies monthly cards that will include, of course, the matches, but also a recap of events that took place through out the month.

Also, if something huge happens between major shows, I will post that.

Continuation from last post: I will try not to let anyone get lost amongst all of the supercards and pay-per-views, as in, wondering why certain matches are what they are. I will try to do a good job of recapping that month's shows building up to the end of the month show.

Also, check out the first post. I've revamped it and will use that as the default roster page for the major four US companies.

WWF Live in New Jersey

Friday, Week 4, April 1983

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Logos/121x105%20Logos/Old/logo_WWF1.jpg

Salvatore Bellomo vs. Superstar Billy Graham

squash

Fulton and S.D. Jones vs. Rodz and Samula

noone here has momentum, went with Rodz/Samula since Rodz has won a match in the past

WWF Intercontinental Championship

Don Muraco© vs. Tony Atlas

Muraco is more talented

Jules Strongbow and Johnson vs. Studd and Kernodle

tough one here, but i think the younger strongbow is the weak link

Frankie Williams vs. George Steele

another squash

Mr. Fuju & Tiger Chung Lee vs. Tony Garea & Eddie Gilbert

Not wild on either team;the AI seems to like Lee though

Bruno Sammartino vs. Invader 1

A win to keep Bruno credible, since the AI seems to hate The Invaders

WWF Tag Team Championship

The Wild Samoans© vs. Ivan Putski & Tito Santana

Putski and Santana have experience, but the Samoans are hot

Andre the Giant and Superstar Billy Graham vs. Hulk Hogan and Superfly Jimmy Snuka

Andre probably went heel;the AI loves to turn him then job him to Hogan

WWF Heavyweight Championship

Bob Backlund© vs. Ray Stevens

If "The Crippler" were younger it'd be a different story, but as is he is probably on the decline so Backlund until a credible ME guy is built up

Friday, Week 4, April 1983

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Logos/121x105%20Logos/Old/logo_GCW.jpg

Thunderbolt Patterson vs. Tim Horner

He's friends with Ole

Jake Robertsvs. Mike Starbuck

Squash

Barber and Pat Rose vs. McGraw and Stallion

Noone is impressing me,McGraw beat me in my WS2 Arn Anderson diary so i guess i'll go with his team

Joe Lightfoot vs. Les Thornton

Lightfoot is a jobber, don't think he's ready to move up the card yet either

Bob & Brad Armstrong vs. Iron Sheik and Spoiler

Brad can't hang with Jardine and Vasiri yet....my guess is this is for Brad(who usually is marked for good or high potential in my TEW games) to develop his skills

GCW National Television Championship

Road Warrior Hawk© vs. Ronnie Garvin

Hawk is young and over, with momentum;Garvin is showing his age a little

Hansen and Sawyer vs. Sammartino Jr. & Brett Wayne

Squash...might see a turn by one Sawyer or the other after the match

Paul Orndorff vs. Pez Whatley

Mr.Wonderful can work, while Pez needs a little work

Tommy Rich vs. Road Warrior Animal

I have a soft spot for Wildfire,he's still at the point where he could be built back up to his NWA Champion level

GCW National Heavyweight Championship

Mr. Wrestling II vs. Ole Anderson

Ole hates to do the job

The currently vacant GCW National Heavyweight Championship is on the line for Ole Anderson, coming off two straight victories and Mr. Wrestling II, who has yet to compete this month. Road Warrior Hawk is on quite the win streak, and in Florida, he added to his momentum by defending his National Television title against Ronnie Garvin.
