[B]WCC BattleGround – Wednesday Week 2 February – Cox Arena Hosted by Mike Tenay & ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage[/B] [B]WCC Tag Team Title:[/B] The Backseat Boyz defeated The Second City Saints in 10:52 when Trent Acid defeated Ace Steel by pinfall with a Yakuza Kick. [B]B[/B] The Backseat Boyz are celebrating their victory in the ring. Teddy Hart and Jack Evans run in and attack, beating them down into the mat. Colt Cabana & Ace Steel join in. [B]C-[/B] CM Punk defeated Paul Burchill in 11:52 by submission with an Anaconda Vyse. [B]A[/B] Sting & Benoit are caught in the back, they share the mutual respect for each other and shake hands, promising to watch each others back [B]A[/B] AJ Styles is in the back with Seska, Paul Heyman approaches and asks AJ Styles if he’d help Scott Steiner tonight and be his partner. Paul Heyman reminds Style’s that he would still be Universal Champion now if it wasn’t for Don Callis & Abyss. Once that is mentioned, Styles accepts. [B]B+[/B] Spanky and Christopher Daniels defeated Low-Ki and Doug Williams in 13:47 when Spanky defeated Low-Ki by pinfall with a Sliced Bread #2. Two men in the match at Lines Crossed now hold a victory over the champ! [B]B+[/B] Doug Williams and Low-Ki are in the ring, and are squaring off, unhappy about something. The argument soon turns physical, and they are joined by Spanky and Christopher Daniels for a wild brawl, with the chaos spilling out all around ringside. Eventually a number of officials and other wrestlers have to hit the ring and pull them apart before they kill each other. They all hate each other! [B]B[/B] Bobby Heenan & The Mat Mafia are in the ring with microphones. Bobby claims that they are so good that they cannot be defeated by anyone, and so they are making an open challenge for any team on the roster to face them in a tag team match. [B]B+[/B] America's Most Wanted come out and say that they will take the open challenge that The Mat Mafia issued. Sean O'Haire and Jonny Bull can't believe it, and freak out. [B]B[/B] America's Most Wanted drew with The Mat Mafia in 13:44 following a double count out. The two teams brawl out of the arena, closely followed by Heenan. [B]B[/B] Mike Tenay & Macho Man Randy Savage discuss announcement of a triple threat tag team match has been booked for WCC Lines Crossed for the tag team titles, Backseat Boyz V The Second City Saints V Teddy Hart & Jack Evans. [B]C[/B] Sting and Chris Benoit defeated Christian and Matt Morgan in 13:35 when Chris Benoit defeated Matt Morgan by pinfall with a Diving Headbutt. [B]A*[/B] Scott Steiner and AJ Styles defeated Abyss and Raven in 11:36 when Scott Steiner defeated Raven by pinfall with a Complete Shot. [B]WCC Lines Crossed – Sunday Week 2 February – LA Sports Arena Hosted by Mike Tenay & ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage[/B] [B]WCC Tag Team Titles:[/B] The Backseat Boyz defeated Teddy Hart \ Jack Evans and The Second City Saints in 15:46; the order of elimination was The Second City Saints first, and finally Teddy Hart \ Jack Evans. The Backseat Boyz make defence number 5 of their WCC Tag Team titles. [B]B[/B] Scott Steiner & Paul Heyam cut a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Abyss. [B]A[/B] Chris Benoit defeated Matt Morgan in 12:42 by submission with a Crippler Crossface. [B]A*[/B] The Mat Mafia defeated America's Most Wanted in 15:46 when Sean O'Haire defeated Chris Harris by pinfall when Bobby Heenan interfered. [B]B+[/B] Christian had an interview hyping his upcoming singles match with Sting. [B]A[/B] [B]WCC TV Title Challenge Final:[/B] Doug Williams defeated Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels and Spanky in 21:50 when Doug Williams defeated Low-Ki by pinfall with a Chaos Theory. Doug Williams wins the WCC TV Title title. Against all the odds! [B]A[/B] A video plays showing the history of Christian vs. Sting, all the way back to when Sting was stalking Christian. [B]A[/B] Christian defeated Sting in 15:50 by pinfall with an Unprettier. Which probably went a little long considering Stings physical condition [B]A[/B] Don Callis has a microphone, and says that Abyss is very confident that he will get the win in his upcoming match against Scott Steiner. [B]B+[/B] AJ Styles defeated Raven in 13:50 by pinfall with a Spiral Tap. [B]A*[/B] The announcers put over the fact that we'll be seeing Abyss take on Scott Steiner. They also announced next months PPV offering is going to be Ultimate Battle, which will see a 30 man Royal Rumble to determine a number 1 contender for the Universal title. [B]A[/B] [B]WCC Universal TItle: [/B]Abyss defeated Scott Steiner in 16:56 when Scott Steiner could not beat a ten count. Abyss makes defence number 5 of his WCC Universal title. [B]B+[/B] [B]Overall Show Rating – A[/B] [B]Buy Rate: [/B] 221, 889, which still didn’t beat TNA’s best offering of Genesis in January (236,678) but did beat their latest PPV, Against All Odds (220,819) which went head to head with Lines Crossed. [I] Things are gonna slow down in the next few days as I'm back to work. Opinions and comments are welcome. (I'm kinda looking for a bit of encouragement to continue) I do have a few ideas for the next few months, but I'm looking for the energy to put them all together [/I]
