Yeah the title matches will develop into the storylines, the debut show is just sort of a introductory show to set everything up but not just completely randomly. Weekly PPVs will be interesting but whether or not I go through with them depend on how the first one does.</p><p> </p><p> Please feel free to vote on winners for the matches.</p>

<p>Good foundation you've set up, but a couple of concerns <strong><em>(keep in mind that most of this might get explained at some point, but as a new "viewer" to TNA, a few things jump out)</em></strong>:</p><p> </p><p>

We have a brand new promotion, and we don't know much about them in this universe. I know what the D.O.A. is from real life, and the fact that he's making matches tells me he's pretty important, but I thought Tenay would have been great to explain how TNA is different/what role the D.O.A. plays. Is he active on-screen? Remains backstage?</p><p> </p><p>

I like Lynn as the first X-Division champ, but I don't know anything about the match except that he won. Who was the first person eliminated? Who was the last person eliminated? Any fluke eliminations that could be seen as the beginning of something?</p><p> </p><p>

Good thing to establish Curt & Shamrock as the faces before the match (at least by the segment I assume they're the faces).</p><p> </p><p>

Hopefully we see more of Monty Brown just destroying people, to make that segment a part of his character.</p><p> </p><p>

I felt it was a little early for a "blow-off" type match we get from Killings & Konnan. I would have saved that for later down the line (maybe the second month) once they're established as characters. NOW I know they're rappers, but why are they fighting for a recording contract? </p><p> </p><p>

Despite their great chemistry, I may find it difficult to get behind Brian Lawler/Justin Credible. Conversely, I'd expect Steiner to be a force, or at least serve as a bodyguard for someone. He took out two guys!</p><p> </p><p>

I liked how Bagwell got some heat back at the end of the match. We'll see where that goes.</p><p> </p><p>

Very good finish to the Main Event, with Hall double crossing Jarrett. I like it when heels don't work with heels just because they're heels (that's a lot of heels there, hope it was clear!).</p><p> </p><p>

Overall, a very good first show laying the groundwork for later.</p>

<p>Thanks for your comments, I do agree with you on most points, I'll be sure to take them on board for the next show <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

With Konnan and Killings, the recording contract will be part of the storyline. It's just like a prop for the two to use.</p><p> </p><p>

Also I'll try to be more detailed in the match reports next time.</p>

http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/7561/miketenay.jpghttp://img95.imageshack.us/img95/2759/donwest.jpg

Mike Tenay "This is totally disgusting Don, Hennig's career could be over right here."

Don West "Jarrett and Hall just needed to teach those guys a lesson, show them that they can't just go disrespecting whoever they like."

Mike Tenay "Sure whatever, but thank God Dusty came down when he did or who knows how far they would've went."

Don West "Well that's all for tonight, be sure to tune in next week!"

<p>I like some developments in the second show. So for some constructive criticism:</p><p> </p><p>

*Good to see Hall/Jarrett working together, but not really together. I'm hoping this boils over down the line.</p><p> </p><p>

*What is Steamboat in TNA? If he just wanted to watch the X Division, let him buy a ticket. :-p</p><p> </p><p>

*Difficult to see developments with such short descriptions (in this format). However Low Ki/Daniels are part of Triple X (so given the name I'm assuming there's a third member, probably Skipper...so why didn't Skipper help them?)</p><p> </p><p>

*Good to see Steiners build up continue through week 2. But since it wasn't a 1 on 2 match again, why did Killings & Konnan argue? It's not like they were working together against him. If anything, they would have been double teaming the other with Steiner.</p><p> </p><p>

*Hopefully Justin Credible's request falls on deaf ears. I mean, they beat a make shift team (assuming they're not a regular team) in Bagwell & Super Crazy this week, and lose to 1 man (sure it was Rick Steiner, but still). Tag champs need to go over in 2-on-1 situations more often than not, and a 1-0 record against inferior competition does not make them credible contenders (pun intended). Maybe the request is denied by the D.O.A., leaving them out of a Tag Title Tournament. THAT would make for a class storyline, ESPECIALLY if he's a face.</p><p> </p><p>

*The Mysterio/Syxx match might have worked differently if Bagwell had cost Syxx the match (given the previous week). But if he's so upset, wouldn't Super Crazy have been the one to feel Bagwell's wrath?</p><p> </p><p>

*Final Segment(s): Good visuals (Ken handcuffed, the Perfect Mess), but it felt a little disjointed. Security should have come out (even if they would have gotten knocked out by Jarrett/Hall). I mean, they stopped what would have been a minor incident between Konnan & Killings. And how did Dusty get a copy of the keys???? OK, I know it's wrestling...I'll suspend my disbelief.</p><p> </p><p>

Again, some good developments, but I felt that some segments would have left me scratching my head as a viewer. With it being a new promotion, I'd likely tune in to see how it's resolved the following week(s).</p>

Actually Skipper did join them in the ring, "After the match Triple X are joined in the ring by their third member, Elix Skipper and they jump Jerry Lynn & AJ styles from behind beating them to the mat."</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="CQI13" data-cite="CQI13" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="23061" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> *Good to see Steiners build up continue through week 2. But since it wasn't a 1 on 2 match again, why did Killings & Konnan argue? It's not like they were working together against him. If anything, they would have been double teaming the other with Steiner.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This is meant to start of as a private disagreement which will become public in the next couple of weeks</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="CQI13" data-cite="CQI13" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="23061" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> *Hopefully Justin Credible's request falls on deaf ears. THAT would make for a class storyline, ESPECIALLY if he's a face.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I agree on this also, the tag team division will have several new, title-worthy teams coming in soon. Since they are heel this is just an ego thing for them.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="CQI13" data-cite="CQI13" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="23061" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> *The Mysterio/Syxx match might have worked differently if Bagwell had cost Syxx the match (given the previous week). But if he's so upset, wouldn't Super Crazy have been the one to feel Bagwell's wrath?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Only time will tell why he would attack Syxx. The mystery may also be down to me not giving as detailed reports as I should be but also this storyline needs time to develop.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="CQI13" data-cite="CQI13" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="23061" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> *Final Segment(s): Good visuals (Ken handcuffed, the Perfect Mess), but it felt a little disjointed. Security should have come out (even if they would have gotten knocked out by Jarrett/Hall). I mean, they stopped what would have been a minor incident between Konnan & Killings. And how did Dusty get a copy of the keys???? OK, I know it's wrestling...I'll suspend my disbelief.</p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> Perhaps the lack of security may be down to who the D.O.A is but you'll just have to wait and see. I guess Dusty could've came down with bolt cutters or something like that but that was just what came into my head at the time.</p><p> </p><p> The constructive criticism i once again appreciated and I will do my best to work on it for the next show. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Q. Hello Ken, what are your main goals here in TNA?</p><p>

A. My goals, well obviously to win championship gold and to help build this company.</p><p> </p><p>

Q. What are your views on the actions of Jeff Jarrett & Scott Hall last week?</p><p>

A. Totally out of order, these guys are poison in this company and this Friday I will make them pay.</p><p> </p><p>

Q. How is Curt Hennig doing, do you have an update on his condition?</p><p>

A. Yes I do actually, I visited him at his home yesterday and he told me suffered a concussion last week and doctors have told him not to wrestle this week. So I doubt you will see him tomorrow.</p>

<strong>BG James</strong> "Oh you didn't know? Your ass better call somebody!"</p><p>

The James Gang making their TNA debut against "the best team in TNA" according to Justin Credible. BG & Kip dominate the match and continuously mocking their opponents while working the crowd. Credible & Lawler attempt to take the easy way out up the ramp but are closely followed by the James Gang who bring them back to the ring the hard way. BG goes for the Pumphandle Slam on Lawler but has to duck the Super-Kick from Credible sending him into Kip who finishes him off.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Kip James with the Fame-Asser to Lawler</strong></p><p>

Rating: D</p><p> </p><p>

The match starts off with Styles, Lynn & Crazy leaping over the top rope onto the floor taking down Triple X. Jerry Lynn looks great out there pulling off some of the most exciting spots of the match. Daniels & Skipper go up to the commentary table and shout abuse at Steamboat. This distracts Lynn & Crazy who go out to stop them leaving Styles in the ring alone with Low-Ki.</p><p> </p><p>

Christopher Daniels and Low Ki showed excellent chemistry teaming together.</p><p>

Former ECW Champion, Shane Douglas is making his TNA debut tonight. Sabu starts the match taking lots of weapons from under the ring and tossing them at the Franchise. Douglas uses a tackle to ground Sabu and uses basic wrestling holds as he doesn't believe in Hardcore Wrestling which was well documented in ECW. Late on in the match Sabu charges at Douglas who finishes him off.</p><p> </p><p>

Hall and Jarrett come out together but Jeff can't keep his eyes of the World Title. They wait anxiously in the ring for "The World's Most Dangerous Man' Ken Shamrock. Shamrock's music starts but he is no-where to be seen. But then out of the crowd comes Ken and he jumps his opponent from behind to gain an early advantage. The numbers game eventually takes over and Shamrock finds himself getting beaten around ringside by Hall & Jarrett. Dusty Rhodes comes to the rescue again this time armed with a steel chair and he lays into Scott & Jeff. <p>Whoa! Wait a second...Joey Styles is the D.O.A.? Odd pick to be sure. Not a bad one by any means, but certainly unexpected.</p><p> </p><p>

I know he's known for the catch phrase, but especially as the D.O.A. (and given the more serious look he gives off) he should be a little more serious. I've always thought the authority figures should either be kind of goofy faces (Commissioner Foley, Some of the Dusty stuff in TNA, Teddy Long) or ruthless heels (Bischoff at his best, some of the early McMahon stuff). Regardless, good job on it being someone who was not a usual suspect. Hopefully we'll see more as to WHY he's there, and WHY he wants to change wrestling, and WHY he's really against Hennig & Shamrock.</p><p> </p><p>

However, with Styles' newfound heel persona, and being in a position of power (which I don't think he's ever held), why didn't anyone really challenge him on it (probably Douglas...as to why he wasn't included in the group after his time in ECW revolutionizing the industry).</p><p> </p><p>

Good to see The James Gang go over.</p><p> </p><p>

Good to see xXx go over, but I'm having a difficult time comprehending some of the stuff that transpired. OK, so Steamboat is there, chilling at the announce table when two members of xXx go and berate him. Now, why is Lynn mad at Steamboat. They didn't have to help him. It's not Steamboat's fault. And then their little exchange made it seem as though Lynn is heel. Has he always been heel? If not, awfully quick turn.</p><p> </p><p>

I like that you're giving West some personality. Is he going to the be the heel part of the announce team? (btw, you put the Daniels/Low Ki chemistry note after the Douglas match as well).</p><p> </p><p>

Hopefully Steiner stays by himself. You risk bloating S.E.X. from the beginning, plus you already have 2 ME's in the group. I would have preferred a slower build to the formation of the group. And certainly through recruitment. You already started with 5, and you want more (not saying you'll book more people in the group).</p><p> </p><p>

Interesting match up for the Tag Titles next week, since I've seen The James Gang put the Road Warriors in a dumpster at some point in the Attitude era. Hopefully it will be a little more competitive next week. </p><p> </p><p>

Good finish to the show, with Ken showing some ingenuity to try to get past Jarrett & Hall.</p>
