No Monkey, no Champagne & No Nonesense Wrestling

Recommended Posts

Inspired by Infinity, I’ve also decided to start my own fed. NNW – No Nonesense Wrestling (using the NNW logo within the original database). My personal game name will be Aldo Benedetti. Some modifications were made to the default database. NNW, from North West, starts with 20% overness in North West and 20 prestige. Since CZCW starts with 25 prestige, 20 seem fair enough. NNW starts with $100,000 and is a Traditional style fed. NNW official description: NNW is a promotion based in Portland, Oregon, and owned by a group of investors led by Gil Thomas. This young fed is mainly being run by Dan Stone Jr, Steve DeColt, and Aldo Benedetti. (keep reading for more info) Other changes, Gil Thomas is signed to a lifetime contract and is the new owner. You might remember Gil as training ground, CCC, owner in TEW2004. Gil brings no skills whatsoever other than cash from investors. Two titles were created: NNW Heavyweight NNW Tag Team Twelve NNW events were created – all set on the third Saturday of every month: January - Cage Wars February – Texas Hold’em March – Last Man Standing April – First Blood May – Battle Royal June – The Road to RumbleMania July – RumbleMania August – House of Fun September – Steel Cell October – House of Horror November – Ultimate Submission December – Wishes to Santa Most important of all, and what might make this dynasty stand out, Dan Stone, Jr and Edd Stone leave NOTBPW, and Steve DeColt and Ricky DeColt leave CGC. All four are signed to written deals with NNW. The other Stones and DeColts remains at NOTBPW and CGC respectively. Edd Stone and Ricky DeColt are the two youngest, and least talented, of their respective families, Steve DeColt isn’t as good as Alex but better than Jack, and Dan Jr is, well, one of my favorite in the game. None of them are much over in the USA; there lies the challenge. USA overness: Dan Stone Jr. around 35% Steve DeColt at 25% Ricky DeColt at 25% Edd Stone at zero percent! No other changes were made to the default database. Only North America will be active to make the game much faster. Yes, some might think it makes it easier, close to cheating, I for one don’t see it that way since as a small fed… really, what do I care if SWF takes Bruce the Giant instead of USPW Jim Force. At the lower level, with a roster of 10 to 15 workers, a few unemployed more or less seems irrelevant for me. We’ll see as the game progress if I am right or wrong since it will be my first time with only North America active.

The First Day My day starts with an email from GDS welcoming me on the job. How nice! But just who the hell is Grey Dog Software and why is a software company congratulating a small wrestling fed’s new booker? Potential sponsors? Gil, give them a call! Check schedule, first show is in 19 days. Check roster, we need 12 more in-ring talent plus the rest of the staff. Earliest contract negotiation is Ricky DeColt in 203 days. Check staff, Dan Stone Jr is my assistant booker; also Dan Stone Jr and Steve DeColt are NNW’s road agents. Check owner’s goals… two goals. First, be more popular at home; second not be in debt. 671 days to achieve it. So let’s send offers shall we… Please welcome… Rob Perkins as NNW first ever referee. Joey Beauchamp, MAW’s Steven Parker, CZCW Gilbert Brothers, Joss Thompson, and John Greed have now joined us. All of them will be heel workers. Also note that Joey Beauchamp and Joss Thompson will be our announcers to save money for now. More offers were sent… Please welcome… Joshua Taylor, Thomas Morgan (renamed Cartoon Joker due to his new gimmick), and Canadian Dragon have now joined us. All of them will be face workers. Also Too Hot and Nevada Nuclear (renamed Nuclear) have also join us and will be heels. One more worker is needed, offer was sent to The Idaho Punisher but he was asking for too much. Finally, two were signed, CZCW Fox Mask and Flemmy Lemming (renamed The Flemmy with a pretentious artist gimmick).

Angles planned are few while I get used to this new roster. We will go easy at first with a fight for the Heavyweight belt, the Tag Team belts being scarcely passed around – and sometimes ignored for whatever reason – and a fight of good (Decolts, Stones, and Fox Mask) versus evil (all top heels). Shows will be one hour long for now. Now lets do this first show or we’ll never do this thing at all. NNW Wishes to Santa North West – Tiniest – 223 people Advertisement (Advance Booking): Dan Stone Jr vs Fox Mask vs Too Much for the NNW Heavyeight title Ricky and Steve DeColt vs The Gilbert Brothers for the NNW Tag Team title Actual results: The show begins with Dan Stone Jr arriving to the arena in a beautiful black limo. C We follow Dan as he sees one of his two opponents tonight, Too Much, already drinking and celebrating with his friends. Too Much sees Dan and yells “Come have a drink with me pal, let’s celebrate my victory.” Dan shrugs him off and walks away. C- We continue with Dan walking in the arena as he sees Ricky and Steve DeColt talking with Edd Stone. Dan is welcomed by his younger brother, and then Steve turns to Dan and says “I heard what they did to you at North of the Border, it’s a real shame. We got the same cold treatment in CGC where your own family takes you for granted. I know how you feel. Let’s agree to make this OUR home and not fight for it.” Dan agrees. C+ Cut to Fox Mask arrival to the building… in a dirty old taxi. D Back to where the DeColts met the Stones. With Dan and Edd gone, Ricky and Steve are talking to each other when suddently the Gilbert brothers attack the DeColt… only to have the DeColt beat up the Gilbert. And then walk away. E Ricky and Steve then hit the ring for their match, and Steve takes the mic, and angrily calls out the Gilbert brothers to come down to get a second beating. D Match – Opening: Steve DeColt pin Joe Gilbert at 12:31 for the win and the NNW Tag Team belts. C- Too Much, still drunk, is interview by Joey Beauchamp. He hypes himself and babbling about how great he “is will be cause whatever he or other guys do there’s always a way to you know whatever cause I’m the greatest and tonight will be another day to you know win the top title and I am good, you know, to win a match I can do that, its not problem and…” You get the point, lets move on… C- Dan Stone Jr is in the ring and he talks about how important this match is for his American career, but also for NNW as a whole. Dan mentions that the NNW Heavyweight belt is very respectable and he seeks to have it to begin his after NOTBPW career. He also wishes his two opponents good luck tonight and may the best man win. C- Match – Main Event: Triple Threat match. Dan Stone Jr makes Too Much tape to the Cobra Clutch at 18:06. Dan Stone Jr wins the NNW Heavyeight title. C In the ring, Too Much rolls out of the ring, Rob Perkins has the belt and hands it off to Dan Stone Jr, when Fox Mask takes it away from him. The two stare at each other, Fox then looks at the belt, then looks at the fans, and finally looks at Dan again. Fox smiles, gives the belt to Dan, and raises his hand. Edd Stone comes to the ring to celebrate with his older brother. Ricky and Steve DeColt, with their newly acquire NNW Tag Team belt, come to the ring and join Dan, Edd and Fox, and celebrate together in the ring to end the show. The fans are cheering! C Final rating: C- but the fans were annoyed at the amount of non-wrestling that was offered. Still, it helped our popularity. Mr. Benedetti was happy. First show was done. And it went well. Main storyline used reality that the Stones and DeColts were here to begin their American career and were the workers to beat. Too Much was put over well as the main heel. Fox Mask was put over too. Next NNW Cage Wars, what storylines has the booker in mind? Right now? None, but it will come… he hopes!

Time for NNW Cage Wars! Cage Wars? This is nonsense. It’s just too much. No, it’s No Nonsense Wrestling and Too Much is our main bad guy. Let’s get started or we’ll never do this thing. Ricky and Steve DeColt received a big news this month. CGC had lost its TV time slot, and of course the DeColt family was blaming their departure – forgetting that the Canadian economy and wrestling industry was at C-, and kept falling. The Stones received another kind of news, it seems that NOTBPW was doing fine without them as Dark Angel over Sean McFly was the match of the year, according to wrestling journalists worldwide. In other news, CZCW is trying to invade us by holding a show in North West, in front of 62 people, posting a C rated show (better than our first and only show). Aldo Benedetti called Cliff Anderson at CZCW headquarters (Cliff’s basement) and calmly asked for explanation, “California isn’t big enough for you that you have to come to North West? Stupid punk? You want war?! Why are you laughing Cliff?!” NNW Cage Wars North West – Tiny – 480 people We did a small show, now we try medium. Advertisement: Dan Stone Jr vs Too Much for the NNW Heavyweight title Joshua Taylor and Canadian Dragon vs John Greed and Joss Thompson for the NNW Tag Team #1 Contendership Cartoon Joker vs The Flemmy And NNW Tag Team champions, Ricky and Steve DeColt, are in the house. Actual results: We begin with Steve DeColt coming to the ring to welcome the 480 screaming fans; and that he has a surprise for them. Since they are such good fans, an unannounced match between his brother Ricky DeColt and Edd Stone. The crowd goes crazy at the announcement. C+ Match – Dark: Ricky put the DeColt 45 on Edd at 8:13 for the pinfall. That brought the crowd down who, from the family names, were expecting better. C- Cut backstage to Cartoon Joker playing tricks on the pretentious artist, The Flemmy, who doesn’t find it funny. The Flemmy gets in Cartoon Joker’s face and challenge him to a match right now. C- Match – Opening: The Flemmy defeats Cartoon Joker by countout at 5:43. The Flemmy and Cartoon Joker have pretty good chemistry and it lift the match (so did the announcing and color commentary) according to my road agent Dan Stone Jr. Thank god cause it tank big time! F Cut to Joshua Taylor warming up backstage for his tag team match for the #1 contendership. Joss Thompson passes by and throws insults at him. No punches but looks are exchange. (Also called exchanging business cards in the wrestling world). C+ Joey Beauchamp gets into the ring with a microphone and welcomes Ricky and Steve DeColt. They both talk about how proud they are to be representing NNW and especially the great Tag Team division (Huh? Did I miss something guys? What division?) They wish good luck to the two tag teams fighting for the opportunity to face them next week. C- Match – Tag #1 Contendership: Joss Thompson pin Joshua Taylor at 10:43 using the ropes. John Greed and Joss Thompson will face Ricky and Steve DeColt for the Tag Team titles next month. E Dan Stone Jr comes to the ring and talks about how he hopes that Too Much is ready to face him this time as he believes Too Hot was overconfident last time. He also mentions how happy he is in NNW and how great the fans are. C- Match – Main Event: Dan Stone Jr made Too Much submit to the Cobra Clutch (again!) at 16:44. Dan Stone retains the NNW Heavyweight title. C After the match, Ricky and Steve DeColt (with the NNW Tag Team belts), and Edd Stone come out and celebrate the victory with Dan Stone Jr. to close the show with the fans cheering our heros. C+ Final rating: C- and should have increase our popularity again. Good card but I forgot one thing. Cage Wars had no cage war matches. Not even one. Should check the card theme next time. Next, NNW Texas Hold’em. But will there be a Texas Death match as the theme card mentions? Will our happy heroes continue to celebrate together? Will the booker pull all the stops and book another F rated match? Too Much gets a chance to redeem himself by facing Fox Mask for the NNW Heavyweight #1 contendership and a possible third shot at the federation’s top guy Dan Stone Jr..

More heel than face, yet not a single heel that can main event. That’s nonsense! No, it’s No Nonsense Wrestling! We need a popular heel cause Too Much isn’t it… yet. So we contacted some people and we’re talking with them. Right now it’s between a skin care guy and a guy who doesn’t like Idaho for some reason. Two Japanese guys have a shot too. One is a former TCW cruiserweight, the other is a young 23 year old who toured the US on some occasions. And yes, none of them are Canadians. Honestly, nationality is not something I checked. Let’s say the DeColts and the Stones brought some friends from home to help start the federation. Other news, NOTBPW just got a second TV show. Dan and Edd are feeling very needed now… just not at home. Things seem to be going great for NOTBPW without them. Now let’s get started or we’ll never do this thing. NNW Texas Hold’em North West – Tiny – 428 people This show will be 1h30 long cause there’s no way I can make those three matches fit under an hour and still pull good angles. Advertisement: #1 Heavyweight contendership: Fox Mask vs Too Much Texas Death match: Steve DeColt vs Joss Thompson And to redeem ourselves, a Cage War 4on4 match. Dan Stone Jr, Ricky DeColt, Joshua Taylor, and Cartoon Joker vs John Greed, Nuclear, The Flemmy, and Edd Stone?!. Actual results: We begin with Too Much in the ring talking trash about Dan Stone Jr and the farce that is a match for the #1 contendership against Fox Mask, as everyone know very well that he was cheated of the belt many times before. Hit Fox Mask music who tells him to shut up and prove it. The road goes through him now and to face it. C- Match – Opening (#1 Contendership): Fox Mask dominates Too Much for most of the match until Too Much takes a pair of brass knuckles and levels Fox with it and gets the three count. D Nuclear is backstage angrily talking about the cage war. C- Cut to Joey Beauchamp backstage interviewing Edd Stone. Edd mentions that “I’ve been the kid of the Stone family all my life. The little boy to protect. Never has the family let me do my own things. Now I am here, away from home, and what happens – my older brother acts superior to me, like a know it all jerk and prevents me from doing what I want. Well I’ve had enough. Tonight I am joining the Cage War, whether my brother likes it or not. And I ain’t joining his side.” C- Cut to locker room where Cartoon Joker continues to play tricks with The Flemmy. Who turns to him and yells, “Cut the mind game crap!” D Dan Stone Jr comes to the ring and begs his brother Edd to not do this – not fight against him. But he also warns that he has a career and a reputation to defend every time he gets into the ring and he must defend it again tonight. Then more begging follows that statement. C- Match – Midcard match (Cage War): It’s a brutal bout for all. We see Edd Stone attacking Dan on many occasions but every time Dan simply moving away to fight another opponent. Edd then turns to Ricky DeColt, and with Nuclear’s help, proceed to double team Ricky. Dan comes and takes his brother out of there, in a corner of the cage. The two stare at each other. Edd hits Dan. Dan stares back. Edd hits Dan again. Dan takes Edd and puts him in the Cobra Clutch… but he releases it before Edd submit. Dan then walk away to fight another opponent. Edd looks at his brother with a confused look… then gets leveled by Cartoon Joker. The match end when Joshua Taylor makes John Greed submit at 29:44. Four of the eight workers could barely walk away from the cage after the match, exhausted and bleeding. C- After the match, Steve DeColt comes to the ring and ask Dan and Edd for explanation. He tries to get them talking to each other. But when Edd starts talking, Steve starts arguing with him, “you should listen to your brother, he knows what’s best for you!” Dan stops Steve and tells him to mind his own business, this is family and he will talk some sense in Edd himself. At which point Edd says “see, this is exactly what I mean. It’s not about family, it’s not about protecting your little brother, it’s about the grown up man that can kick your butt, and that you refuse to see!” Finally, all three men walk away their separate way. (Fans couldn’t care less about these kinds of angles…) D We follow Steve DeColt who gets stopped by Joey Beauchamp who asked him about his thoughts. Steve says that he thinks the Stone family is messed up and has some issues to resolve but he must focus on his match tonight, a Texas Death match against Joss Thompson. C- We then follow Joey Beauchamp who sees Joss Thompson getting ready for his match, so Joey interviews Joss. Joss starts raving about how he and his brother have a great relationship – cause he doesn’t have one; he has two – (Aldo thinks: ****y little sh*t head! That’s not even funny!) Then Joss talks about how this match should be the real #1 contendership for the NNW Heavyweight belt but NNW are discriminating against him… to which Joey reply “I know how you feel, they hate British guys too!” Joss gives Joey a weird look. C- Match – Main Event (Texas Death): It’s an even back and forth match, some chairs and other illegal objects are used. Then Joey Beauchamp gets up the announcing table, gets into the ring and starts hitting Steve DeColt. Joey takes the microphone and says, “For all the discrimination Joss and I have receive here, this is our revenge.” And tries to hit Steve with the mic but Steve moves away and Joey B hits Joss. Ricky DeColt then comes to the ring and pulls Joey out. Steve covers Joss, and after the three count. Rob Perkins, the referee, counts to ten. Steve DeColt wins the Texas Death match in 17:39. C- Final rating: C- and should have increase our popularity again. Somewhat of a good card. Nothing below D can’t be that bad for a fed our size… but nothing above C- also shows a lack of depth in our roster. Our top faces don’t have much heel opposition and that brings their matches ratings down. Next is Last Man Standing. Who will stand and who will lie? Who is the new main event heel in NNW, if any? What’s next for the Stone brothers?

NNW has no real heel; will Fox Mask be turned to get some heel heat in those weak main events? A comic book hero turning heel? That’s nonsense! No, it’s No Nonsense Wrestling! Now let’s get started or we’ll never do this thing. As stated in previous posts, we went talking with some people and the result is there will be no need to turn Fox after all, as we signed all four candidates for the top heel spot. What the hell! Please welcome to the NNW roster, four new heels: The Idaho Punisher: He is an average brawler, who has never really achieved much in the sport. Nobody is quite sure what he is punishing Idaho for though. And since he doesn’t know why himself either, we are changing his character name and gimmick to The Punisher. Dermot O’Logical: He is a decent young brawler who plays the off-the-wall character of a guy who is obsessed with skin care. Many feel that as he matures as a worker, he could become quite a valuable asset to any company. Kazuma Narato: He is a young Japanese worker who moved to the US very early in his career to be part of the cruiserweight division that TCW were setting up. There, Narato was a talented high flier, who played sidekick to Ota most of the time. He had many great matches in TCW, usually against The Young Guns. He returned to Japan when he was fired in 2005 when the division was closed. However he came back to the US in March 2006 when he couldn’t find any good positions among the big federations there. His finisher is the Narato Stunner. Yasunobu Masuno: He is one of the biggest native wrestlers in Japan, and is a fine brawler who has also made several appearances in the US. A natural heel, he is still a very young man who is likely to improve even more. His finisher is the Masuno Deep Sleep. We now have too many heels and some will be let go. I am looking at Steven Parker and the Gilbert Brothers but still undecided. Money wise, Narato and The Punisher are now my highest paid worker after Dan Stone Jr and Steve DeColt so if they don’t improve the ratings much, they will be let go first. Speaking of which, today I realized what was obvious since the get go. All four Canucks are signed to written deals now, but when come due, will only be possible to resign to PPA’s… which of course, NOTBPW and CGC who are nationals will sign them to written deals (bringing the boys back home)… Ricky DeColt is first in 101 days. NNW and its fans must prepare for the inevitable. Our heroes will leave eventually and will need to be replaced, but by who? NNW Last Man Standing North West – Tiny – 458 people Advertisement: Dan Stone Jr. vs Too Hot for the NNW Heavyweight title Ricky and Steve DeColt vs To Be Announced Actual results: We start with Canadian Dragon backstage interviewed by Joey Beauchamp. “It is time for me to stop the gimmicks and play by my own rules! My real name is Peter Dragon, call me that, and tonight is the beginning of my best years to come. I want a match tonight and I will end it with the DragonFire!” D Cartoon Joker comes out of Dermot O’Logical dressing room. He has some of Dermot’s makeup and skin care with him. He sees The Flemmy sleeping and proceeds to make The Flemmy “beautiful.” Once finished, CJ laugh extremely loud, waking The Flemmy who sees his face in the mirror and goes crazy and starts running after CJ. D Announcement on the big screen of a one on one match between Peter Dragon and Steven Parker. F Cut back to The Flemmy who goes into Dermot’s dressing room. Dermot is angry that someone took his makeup and skin care without his permission. Dermot and The Flemmy go looking for Cartoon Joker. They find him and beat him up. C- The Flemmy and Dermot then see Gil Thomas and ask him to be in a match against CJ. Gil explains to them that the card is full with the announcement of the Peter Dragon versus Steve Parker match. But Dermot and The Flemmy won’t hear any of it and convinces (using threats) to have the match anyway. Finally, Gil agrees to a tag team match of Peter Dragon and Cartoon Joker versus Steven Parker and Dermot O’Logical. D Announcement on the big screen of a tag team match between Peter Dragon and Cartoon Joker versus Steven Parker and Dermot O’Logical. F (great, you can never have enough F in a card!) Match – Opening: Peter Dragon and Cartoon Joker win by DQ at 5:39 after The Flemmy couldn’t wait any longer and went inside the ring with a chair on Cartoon Joker. E The Flemmy and Dermot proceed to give Cartoon Joker a beating until Joshua Taylor comes in to save CJ. Joshua takes the microphone and tell Flemmy and Dermot to get a sense of humor. F (New record, 3 F in the same card!) Once the ring cleared, Edd Stone comes to the ring and says “Enough with the light show. I ask to Gil for a tag match against the DeColt and was granted it. But tonight the DeColt will face my two new best friends, Nuclear and John Greed! And I might just be there at ring side with them to give ‘moral’ support!” D Cut backstage where Steve DeColt is talking with Dan Stone Jr and tells him that this is putting a strain on their friendship and Steve expects Dan to do something about it. C+ Cut back to the ring where Edd is still there and is now joined by Nuclear and John Greed who says that the DeColt’s reign will be short as the belt is coming to The Roughriders courtesy of Reasons for War. (Aldo thinks: “Who? Did I miss something? If Nuclear and Greed are ‘Reasons for War,’ who are The Roughriders?”) D Cut backstage again where Dan is seen thinking after Steve DeColt leave for his match. Joey B comes to him and ask for his toughts. Dan talks about his match with Too Hot (not Too Much… sorry about that before) but then close the answer with “but Edd is a different man than I am, and obviously doesn’t share my vision of things. I wish the DeColt good luck tonight and Edd good luck in his new endeavor but to be careful not to drag the Stone name down.” C Ricky and Steve DeColt get into the ring. Steve ask Dan to forgive him, “you’re right Dan, this is not about you and me, this is about dealing with a little punk and his punk friends. Now boys, bring it on!” C+ Match – Midcard (NNW Tag Team title): Ricky and Steve retain the belts by DQ at 12:46 after Rob Perkins (ref) saw Yasunobu Masuno and Edd Stone double team Steve DeColt at ringside. C- After the match, Edd, Nuclear, Greed and Yasunobu give the DeColt a beatdown and announce the formation of The Four Roughriders! Dan Stone Jr and Peter Dragon eventually come to the DeColt’s rescue. D Cut backstage as we see Too Hot talking with Rob Perkins (ref). He shows Rob some money but Rob declines. C Dan Stone Jr, walking back from the ring to get ready for his title match against Too Hot sees the incident with Rob Perkins in a compromising position. But Dan knows Rob very well and believes him right away when he says he didn’t take the money. C- Dan says to Rob to get into the ring cause the match starts now. He hits Too Hot and drags him into the ring where Rob Perkins rings the bell. C- Match – Main Event (NNW Heavyweight title): It was a good bout where Dan had the upper hand only to loose it after a cheap shot by Too Hot. Too Hot then dominated Dan for a while until a mistake saw Dan re-energize and finish Too Hot with the Cobra Clutch at 17:48. Dan retains the NNW Heavyweight. C Peter Dragon, Ricky and Steve DeColt come to the ring to celebrate with Dan. And out comes The Four Roughriders to end the show in a 4on4 brawl. (bad idea!) E Final rating: C and the best NNW show ever (even with the three F segments early on). Good show, Edd Stone arrived late. Dan will have a talk with him but nothing else will be done about it. Steven Parker was released after the show. Joss Thompson was renamed “Joss.” Yasunobu Masuno was renamed “Yasuno Masuno.” Next is NNW First Blood. Narato makes his debut against Fox Mask. The Punisher might be in there somewhere. We got a 4on4 fight for the top, a 2on2 fight for Dermot’s skin care products, and a fight against the door of “terminated contracts.” Joss will be back to deal with Joey’s misunderstanding at NNW Texas Hold’em. And Too Hot is upset, causing trouble, and most likely drunk… he might need a “Punishment” eventually.

Take de colts, we go hunting for some fox. Or is it with a Fox?! That’s nonsense! No, it’s No Nonsense Wrestling! So let’s clarify. Too Much and Too Hot are one and the same – Too Hot from the original data. Also Aldo Benedetii got scared at the idea of losing his four heroes but noticed that both Stones still had about 500 days left. So Dan is here to stay for a while. Also CGC, home of DeColt family, is a cult fed – unlike NOTBPW at national level – so no written deals are possible at the moment. But Aldo still fears the DeColt’s might want to focus on CGC only, like Eddie Peak on a ppa to DAVE who wants to focus on his DAVE career only. Urgency is felt, as Ricky DeColt’s contract is up in only 72 days. So Aldo went searching for potential replacements if the DeColts and Stones ever departed. He found a low overness but very talented American named William Hayes. We are talking with him as of this writing, and are hoping for his debut at NNW Battle Royal. Speaking of NNW Battle Royal. To build up to it, we will be holding two small shows before it. A first show April Saturday of week 4 (seven days after First Blood), and a second show May Saturday of week 1. Then two weeks later will be NNW Battle Royal with the winner getting a title shot for the NNW Heavyweight at RumbleMania. A third small show will be held after Battle Royal, on May Saturday of week 4 to build up The Road to RumbleMania. And finally, two more small shows will be held before the mega event of RumbleMania. These small shows will be called “NNW In Your Mind,” 1,2,3,4, and 5. All five shows will be one hour long and all major shows are now one hour and thirty minutes long. Now let’s get started or we’ll never do this thing. NNW First Blood North West – Tiny – 470 people Advertisement: Ricky and Steve DeColt vs Masuno and Edd Stone for the NNW Tag Team titles Fox Mask vs Kazuma Narato Joshua Taylor vs Dermot O’Logical; Cartoon Joker and The Flemmy will be at ringside Dan Stone Jr, Nuclear, John Greed, Too Hot, Joey B, and Joss are in the house as well Actual results We begin with Dermot O’Logical and The Flemmy attacking Cartoon Joker backstage. Joshua Taylor comes in, again, for the save. When the two sides are separated, we can hear Joshua yell, “It’s me that you fight tonight!” F Match – Opening: Dermot O'Logical defeat Joshua Taylor in 7:49 when Joshua Taylor was counted out after being attacked by The Flemmy. D After the match, we have a 2on2 brawl in the ring. F Once the ring is clear, The Four Roughriders come and talk about the upcoming tag team title match later tonight. Of interest, Edd Stone says, “Tonight we take the belts, no excuse. Guys I want more discipline from all of us. Tonight if Roughriders night!” C- Cut to Joss’ locker room where he is talking with John Greed. Joey Beauchamp comes in and starts telling Joss how they are so much alike… like twin brothers… Joss walks away unhappy with Joey saying to John Greed, “what did you do Greed?” Greed shakes his head and walks away too. Joey B remains confused. C- Cut to somewhere else backstage where Too Hot is drinking, and it ain’t water. Too Hot then struggles to get up and walk toward the door, and he slams it in the face of the camera. C Joey B, back on duty as announcer, ask Dan Stone Jr for his thoughts on his brother’s behaviour. Dan says “Edd’s behaviour is irresponsible of a Stone and is shaming the family name. I wish Edd would stop.” C Edd interrupts Dan and warn him to stay out of his business tonight. Dan agrees. C- Remaining backstage, we cut to Fox Mask getting ready for his match when suddenly, Kazuma Narato attacks Fox from behind. Using anything at their disposal, the fight gets pretty rough until other workers then break them apart. C- Too Hot is backstage breaking NNW equipment. Backstage workers, such as Gil Thomas and what appears to be Aldo Benedetti, tell him to stop or he will be arrested and most likely fired from NNW. C+ (That was Too Hot all by himself, congrats!) Joey catches up to Joss and continues his rambling about both being so similar. Joss turns to Joey B and loudly says, “No! Are you obsessed?” then walks away. Joey is, again, confused. C- Dan Stone jr and Steve DeColt are walking backstage, when the Four Roughriders, led by Edd Stone, get into Steve’s face and try to provoke him. Dan tells Edd to take his buddies and to go away. The Four Roughriders leave and we see Dan feeling disgusted by the events. C- Dan Stone jr then goes into his locker room, takes his gym bag, and walk out the door. He’s had enough. C- Back to the ring where Fox Mask takes the microphone before his match with Narato and he says that “I’ve heard of you and your reputation during my time touring in Japan, and it is not a reputation I envy. In fact, with such a terrible reputation, its no wonder you are back in the US.” C- Narato comes out of the crowd and attacks Fox Mask from behind. Rob Perkins (ref) rings the bell and the match begins. C- Match – Midcarder: It’s an even fight until the ref gets knock out. Narato brings a chair inside the ring and hits Fox Mask with it. Narato drops the chair next to Fox Mask and begin celebrating. Fox gets up, and so does the ref, Rob Perkins, Fox takes the chair and wants revenge. Fox hits Narato with it, and Perkins calls for the bell. Kazuma Narato defeat Fox Mask in 14:39 by DQ. C The two, Fox Mask, and Narato, brawl to the back. C- Inside the ring, Steve DeColt takes the microphone and says that “tonight, Edd, I will shut you up for good.” C Ricky DeColt comes to the ring also, and tells Steve that Dan Stone has left the building. Steve looks worried. Ricky and Steve might have to take on the Four Roughriders by themselves. C Cut backstage where Joey B and Joss sees each other again, joss starts running for the door, gets in his car and drive away. Joey B runs after him and when he sees the Joss drive away, he says “Joss probably didn’t see me.” F Cut to Too Hot, who starts breaking NNW equipment again. The backstage workers call the police and Too Hot is arrested, and taken away. C+ The main event is about to begin, the four competitors (DeColts, Edd Stone, and Masuno) and the referee are in the ring, when suddenly, on the giant screen, we see Gil Thomas surrounded by the other two Roughriders member, Nuclear and John Greed. Gil calls referee Rob Perkins back and announce that tonight’s main event will have a special referee. Gil says, “who’s that?” Nuclear, “just read!” Gil, “The Punisher as special referee.” Gil looks worried and confused, and so do Ricky and Steve DeColt. Edd Stone and Masuno, however look very confident. C- Match – Main Event (NNW Tag Team titles) First Blood match: This match is more or less a 4on2 match, with the referee (The Punisher) allowing just about anything to happen – but not getting involved personally. Eventually, Yasuno Masuno make Ricky DeColt bleed at 18:18 after Nuclear attacked Ricky with a chair. Peter Dragon tried to help the DeColt but was told by the referee to leave ringside. Dragon was eventually taken out after being double-teamed by Greed and Nuclear. Edd Stone and Yasuno Masuno are the new NNW Tag Team champions. C- After the match, we have a beat down 4on2 from the Four Roughriders. Peter Dragon helps the DeColt escape. The Four Roughriders let them escape and celebrate their victory in the ring. E Final rating: C- and should have increase our popularity again. A good show but might have had too many angles between the first and second match. In other news, Wolf Hawkins’ contract with TCW expired. He is now a free agent. NNW tried to signed him but he turned down a $1,900 ppa plus $1,000 downside, and I’m not even sure we could afford that much anyway. Mr Benedetti did not bother sending a second offer. Negotiations were ended quickly. Next is In Your Mind 1 in 7 game days. Masuno and Edd will defend their newly acquired belts against the Gilbert Brothers, a new authority figure might make his debut, NNW Heavyweight champion Dan Stone Jr learns who will be his opponent at NNW Battle Royal, and we learn who are the lucky 7 (out of 10) who don’t need to qualify for a battle royal spot.

{Insert stupid comment here} That’s nonsense! No, it’s No Nonsense Wrestling! Ok, so we haven’t been able to find an authority figure in 7 days, everybody we contacted wanted too much. But I have one worker in mind for the spot, negotiation with him will begin only after NNW In Your Mind 1. Hint: He graduated from Oxford. Now let’s get started or we’ll never do this thing. NNW In Your Mind 1 North West – Tiniest – 171 people Small size event. Advertisement: Edd and Masuno vs The Gilbert Brothers for the NNW Tag Team titles First qualifying match for a spot in the Battle Royal We learn who will be Dan Stone, Jr opponent at NNW Battle Royal And we learn the “lucky 7” who don’t need to qualify for the Battle Royal Actual results: We begin with Gil Thomas, our current authority figure, about to announce the “lucky 7” for the Battle Royal and the six worker who will compete for the remaining 3 spots. First he talks about how he isn’t impressed with the feud of Joshua, Cartoon Joker, The Flemmy, and Dermot. So next week, at NNW In Your Mind 2, Joshua Taylor will face The Flemmy and Cartoon Joker will face Dermot O’Logical. The winner of each match will receive a spot in the Battle Royal. E Second, Gil announces the “lucky 7.” They are Fox Mask, Joss, Peter Dragon, Kazuma Narato, Nuclear, John Greed, and Edd Stone. D Third, Gil announces that Steve DeColt and Ricky DeColt will have the opportunity to fight for the last remaining spot of the Battle Royal, by facing each other tonight in the main event. Ricky and Steve DeColt come out upset. They say they should be part of the “lucky 7,” which they thought they were guaranteed to be. C Edd Stone and Yasuno Masuno get inside the ring and talk about how great titles defender they will be. They promises to defend the belts much more often then the DeColts did and to face only the toughest challengers. Starting tonight against the Gilbert Brothers. D Match – Opening (NNW Tag Team titles): Boring match – probably too long – that ends with Edd Stone pinning Joe Gilbert at 11:45 following interference from John Greed. Edd Stone and Yasuno Masuno retain the NNW Tag Team titles. D After the match, all Four Roughriders are in the ring, Nuclear and John Greed talk about Dan Stone jr, and how they are going to win the Battle Royal and then win the Heavyweight title. C- Speaking of the NNW Heavyweight title. Gil Thomas then make a fourth announce, this time for Dan Stone, Jr opponent at NNW Battle Royal. And it’s none other than The Punisher! D Cut to Dan Stone, Jr surprised reaction when, out of nowhere, The Punisher attacks Dan Stone. Dan is left laying on the ground, with The Punisher yelling insults at him, before other workers intervene and stop The Punisher’s attack. C- Match – Main Event (Battle Royal spot #8): Steve DeColt defeat his younger brother Ricky DeColt in 17:56 by pinfall with a Decolt Stampede. Steve gains a spot in the Battle Royal. C After the match, the Four Roughriders run in the ring and a 4on2 beat down results. Our 3 heroes end the night down and weaken. E Final rating: C- and should have increase our popularity again. Next is NNW In Your Mind 2. Two matches for the two remaining Battle Royal spot. Dan Stone Jr will surely want to have a talk with The Punisher. The Four Roughriders will be in the house as well, what do they have planned for our three heroes? And who will be the new authority figure, if any?
