TCW: A Quiet Retirement

Recommended Posts

Show Notes:

  • Three other matches were just one point off the coveted A*. So close to HATING this writeup.

Firstly, PS, a big thanks. I've had AQR bookmarked over the last month during our (extensively delayed) house move and it's actually helped a surprising amount to have this available.

Glad you've enjoyed! My show and diary segment file now clocks in at 454,009 words, over 963 pages. It's kind of scary.

It's been a lot of fun look back and see how far you've come, as in any long-running diary, as I've had the chance over the last month to go back and re-read this from page one... Remember the Danny Fonzarelli push? Remember the Syndicate? Remember the transition from 08 to 10? It all seems fresh to me.

I'd love to see a return of the Horatio Dangerous sit-down interviews, incidentally. Someone like Zimmy or even McFly might make for a fascinating interview. McFly seems almost to have been drifting since his arrival - which is a testament to your strength in depth, of course, but how do you have McFly and not make him the focus of your shows? :p (I know, I know, he's not a natural lead protagonist for GenO... We are going to get McFly/Cornell at some point though, right?)

There are a LOT of upcoming dream matches. I'm trying to avoid giving them all away too close to one another... but yeah, I'm wanting to get the Horatio interviews in again. A question of time and working out who to do one for...

McFly vs Wolf: Awesome.

McFly using the Party's Over: Undecided, but probably awesome

Jerilynn's Submission victory: Ultra awesome

Edd still being a champion: Awesome awesome awesome.

The whole show write-up: Superb. (Thought I'd say awesome, didn't you? :p)

This is why this is the best diary out there. Plenty of praise for an amazing show, kudos for the obviously awesome Malice match, and pulling an A* match with Jack freakin Bruce. However, I loved the Aaron Andrews angles the best. Those are what make this great. Awesome, awesome show PS.

<p>You want visceral, eh?</p><p> </p><p>

EH?</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Eidenhoek's in-character-ish review of TCW: Malice in Chains:</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em></p><ul><li><em>The hell happened to Merle? Bald? Er, red-hair? Dude needs to...not try to be Floyd Bowman.</em><br /></li><li><em>Start off with a tag match. Fine enough. Amusing that British Lions...have really fallen. They've gone from nobodies to veritable tag wrestling gods to...eh. Another face. And the Outlaws don't really do much, apparently. Good job Bowman. How about next time, you, I dunno, PUNCH SOMEBODY IN THE CROTCH.</em><br /></li><li><em>Bruce vs. Tornado. Certainly match of the night. Even moreso due to it being the second match. *sigh* Hate it when that happens...sort of.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

In any case, this was both my favorite and not-so-much match. I really don't like this TCW Bruce, but I'm immensely enjoying Tornado. I don't understand why he hasn't dominated this feud. Well, I *do*, of course, but anyway...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

The ending pisses me off. Now Bruce wins. So either the feud drags on (it does feel long at this point, so in my eyes, it should end) or Bruce wins it all. Wins the respect/honor/whatever. Great, Tornado's a chump. *shakes fist*</em><br /></li><li><em>A cute little segment here, good setup. But let's talk about the International Championship match.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Or don't, actually. Very, very unhappy with the ending. Edd's still champ which means more immature pranks. Granted, he *could* be moving a bit more toward and analytical approach, which would certainly save his reign. But somehow that won't happen...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Tana...ever since that match with Marlowe, I can't hate him. But he shouldn't have won, so that's fine.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

CanEl...dammit, you're ruining a legacy. Either start winning titles or make CanEl/Edd into Elemental/Optimus. Or at least...god, it's the purple-haired white-masked guy and...ElIII? No, someone else...WELL DAMMIT DO SOMETHING.</em><br /></li><li><em>THREE KINGS CHAMPIONSHIP MAN THAT'S THE BEST NAME EVER WHOEVER CONTRIBUTED TO THAT SHOULD GET LIKE $500.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

But seriously, this could either make *amazing* matches or be horrible and pointless. Stupid lack of chemistry...anyway, let's make some trios:</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Shingen, Ota, Ino</em><br /><em>

Hill, Anderson, Speed</em><br /><em>

Ali, Honda, Harper? w/e I hate them anyway</em><br /><em>

Golden, Law, Rockwell (way too OP for this tourney someone nerf them pl0x)</em><br /><em>

Generation Omega (Dubois, Newton, and...uh...Perez)</em><br /><em>

Jeremy Stone, Cornell, McFly (uh...wtf I just broke wrestling)</em><br /><em>

Bloodstone (is he injured???), GregKeith, Art Reed</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

That's seven teams. Maybe Eric Tyler will have a School of Beingrelevantinrecentmemory, so that's eight. Huh, half of the teams expected. Not a bad ratio at all.</em><br /></li><li><em>HUGGINS? Huggins? The **** has he done...ever? Feud with Deeley and lose? GEE GIVE HIM A TITLE. *sigh* Hopefully "All-Action" means "sucktastic", ergo all the other guys in the ring don't want it.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

I would have liked for *some* harmony in this match. Like with CanEl and Tana, why not, I dunno, promise your partner the first shot at the title? Whatever. Disappointed that Acid didn't meltdown (ha) at trying to mimic five people. Also...I dunno. He's in the enviable position of me wanting him to win a title, but very likely being hated by me if/when he wins it. So he's kind of stuck in limbo.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Shingen's been an excellent champ. Loved it. But it made sense for him to lose, and the story this is making...didn't mind it. lolololbokken. lolbokken? Sounds funny...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Hidekazu (WHO SHOULD BE WITH MIYAZAKI DAMMIT) can't win, either, and sadly, the reign of the snake/monkey/marmoset was squashed. Stupid backstage powers...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Now UK Dragon. He's...solid. He's a great worker and I'll be surprised if Freddy "Suckman" Huggins is better than him in...anything but talking. UK would have been the better choice. Then we could have UK Dragon team with Tommy Cornell as "Teh British Empirez".</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

With the "Teh."</em><br /></li><li><em>Andrews Andrews Andrews...you're complaining at net one step gains? Good job being the heel-OH WAIT.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Minnesota's a ****, though, so it's fine.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Match? winning with a spinebuster is...nostalgic, let's say, but I can't dislike the match. Someone was wondering why Minnesota and Whistler have issues. I imagine Joey draped Whistler in a Confederate flag. Sounds like something he'd do.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Actually...y'know, if Joey was doing what Edd was doing, and Edd...I dunno, but man, I'd be </em><em><strong>livid</strong></em><em> with Joey now. Not only is he a heel with Vibert (HATE), but he'd be annoying too. </em><em><strong>And</strong></em><em> talented. God, I think my nose just exploded in blood. Ah, chlorine.</em><br /></li><li><em>Remo this and Remo that, Remo gonna hit you with a baseball bat.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

^That is the most entertaining thing Remo has ever said. And in fact, I said it.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

So I'm not a huge fan of the Dark Destroyer. He's...maybe of Vibert's crew I like him the most, but that's more a lack of hatred than anything. He's good, I guess, but...I dunno. His indestructible shtick doesn't sit well with me for some reason. Pull that on...Vengeance, and I'd get it. But that's about the only guy that it'd work on. And Remo's better than Skullboy...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Oh, Cornell won. *Very* happy. I can live with Remo spearing people so long as he's not winning haphazardly.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Here's some nostalgia: bring back that Peak/Remo feud. You want me to like-or care about-Remo? </em><em><strong>That</strong></em><em> was something. Breaking steel, breaking...more steel...hell, BREAKING THE ****ING SET. Dammit, that was classic. Besides, who doesn't like the Great WhiteWAIT A MINUTE I HATE SHARKS.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Seriously. Hate them. Although an Eddie/Doug team where Peak's...er, Eddie's the great white and Doug was the Hammerhead would be badass. Or goodass. Why is goodass...such a stupid word?</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Anyway, Hammerheads rock. As do whale sharks because...who the **** messes with a whale shark?</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Dolphins.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

****ing dolphins.</em><br /></li><li><em>CR vs. PPH. I'm a Hall mark. I...I wanted him to win, but at the same time, Chris is the story. So I'm not disappointed. I'm happy that Pistolier was able to go as hard as he did. Thumbs up. Also thumbs up for BEING A COWBOY BAYYYYYBEEEEEEE.</em><br /></li><li><em>omgomgomgMatthew Keith/Blonde Bombshell/Johnny Bloodstone love triangle is GOING TO HAPPEN YES YES YES! And, and, here's the fun part: </em><em><strong>they're both awesome in the ring.</strong></em><em> Best idea ever. Prolly...definitely highlight of the night for me.</em><br /></li><li><em>Women's Championship match was a bit late for me; swapping it with, say, the First Blood match (and swapping some promos, obviously) would have been better.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

That said, this was, by far, the best booked match on the card. Face wins with her final shot (it seemed), heel got ownd by hubris. That is the perfect story.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Now if I actually *cared*, we'd have ourselves a moneymaker.</em><br /></li><li><em>I don't like Hawkins. Really don't. It's...hard to say who I dislike most in Vibert's crew. Probably...Dubois > Perez > Hawkins > Newton > Remo. Remo for the aforementioned stuff, Newton because he's too new to have much a character in my eyes (and because he's actually adventurous with his claims. Go go ticket to the top 2011!). DuBois is *the* a-hole of the group. Perfect fit with Phil. Now get them off my tv. Perez? That hook-kick stupid stupid want to punch him in the face championship crap makes him a tough contender for most hated. But that leaves Wolf.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

I dunno. Wolf's...good. He can talk. Just...don't like him. And I wanted a Keith victory. Oh well. No crazy Keith v. Keith mist-off.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

WHAT THE HELL THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME! The match? Mist each other. Whoever cannot answer the count of ten loses. The point isn't to harm the opponent, the point is to GET YOUR SON OFF THE JUICE! Er...mist...</em><br /></li><li><em>EL TIGRE AMERICANO WOOOOO wait, that's an ironic name...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Sean McFly is Canadian btw. Sure, sure, prove me wrong. How about this: show me his passport. Show me his birth certificate. AND I'M NOT TALKING THAT SHORT VERSION WHATEVER CRAP I WANT THE WHOLE THING.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Freaking Canadians...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

I believe I previously gave an eloquent and excellent and perfect explanation as to why...wait, who'd I pick?</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Uh...</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

Did I pick McFly? Eh, probably. Good job there, good story, outwin outplay outsueforcopyright.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

I'm mad that Lover got eliminated first. Who would I put there? Marc ****ing DuBois. Props on the kid taking a Crazy Bump. Too bad it wasn't off the cell onto the concrete.</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

WHAT THE KID IS LAZY-LOOKING!</em><br /><em> </em><br /><em>

I...guess Keith would go next, then probably Lover and Reed soon after. *shrug*</em><br /></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>

@Merle: I saw that in the...re-render thread? Not the first time I've seen the pic, in any case. While I do <em>not</em> like it for Merle, I <em>do</em> think it's a good profile pic.</p><p> </p><p>

@Makuda Roll: From <em>Raku</em> Makuda? I'll have to look it up.</p><p> </p><p>

@in-character-ish: Apparently that means sort of recognizing this as a diary, and sort of not. Also ranty and overblown in emotion, though negativity indicates negative feelings and the opposite likewise. Just not the veracitude. YEAH VERACITUDE NEW BAND!</p><p> </p><p>

@in-character-ish pt. 2: What the hell did I just write?</p>

Grouping these two together to comment on one thing... this isn't Jack's first A*. Admittedly, the others have involved tags and/or Tommy Cornell.

For the most part though, Jack's been a little below-par in this feud. Tag matches are one thing, tag matches are easier to get higher ratings, Tommy Cornell is another (In a game of mine he's pulled an A* out of Mikey James). Doing it in the feud, with the guy he's struggled to deliver with... that's forgiveness. :p

Monday 1st September 2009

It's weird, I don't feel the need to justify my decisions when it comes to something like Malice in Wonderland, or Total Mayhem. But with these semi-transitional shows... I guess there's more of a need to explain the theory, because the decisions are less obvious. Malice and Mayhem are the blowoffs, the moves made there are either obvious or deep setup.

Hotter than Hell is a very different thing.

So let's go down the list again:

  • GenOme over Lions and Outlaws. This was water treading. We reinforce the Outlaws as a united front, we throw in the Lions to add a little more class and to allow Morgan to learn from Ricky a little – he was specifically asked to help Walter with some spontaneity in the ring. The Lions escape pinfall so that we can go to a two-team match for the title down the line. GenOme's run with the belts is coming to an end, and they may yet be a one-shot champion team – we'll see.
  • Bruce over Tornado. And Jack takes the blowoff. Simply put, Jack can either become jobber to the stars or get a significant win. Troy has the ability to bring himself back from the brink, given the build to do so, while Jack will take a little more work – but with the results he can pump out, he deserves a shot at more relevance. I knew going in this one would provoke, but hopefully it'll be worth it.
  • Stone over Elemental and Tana. Tana takes the fall the second month running, allowing Elemental to come to the forefront. The feud needs to transition into a one-on-one, but the two months Tana was in there gave the opening battles a ring general, a little more rub for Tana, and a chance to start positioning Tana's cousin Rhino Umaga for upcoming events.
  • Huggins over Team KOBRA and allies. Shakeup time in the All Action division. Freddy recently pulled off some stellar matches off TV, and the stock of the School of Tradition needs to rise. Darkwave and the School are not exactly favourites for the Three Kings, so we start their rebuilding a little early. This also sets up a little more of the tension between KOBRA and Tradition, two stables which are all about training, with different foci, both of which have issues with members rebelling and/or outgrowing the stable. By the War to Settle the Score next year, these two stables should be at each other's throats.
  • Andrews over Minnesota. Aaron's build is probably the most carefully managed thing I'm doing. Wolf Hawkins has the credibility, the title, the all-round ability in the ring, and the slow burn feud. He has everything he needs to be a star. Aaron, on the other hand, has almost everything – but making him a long-term star is one of the things we have to do, for the School of Wrestling's sake. (Which is also why I asked him to sell the School in his promo.) Allowing him to beat Minnesota, whose resurgence has been nothing short of spectacular, helps to continue his momentum, while also ensuring we had an excellent match and permitting Minnesota to continue to groom him.
  • Cornell over Remo. Tommy needs to win big occasionally, and a big PPV match is the time to do it. This one isn't over, of course. One thing I'm quite happy with about Tommy's feuds – with Wolf and Remo – that I think people haven't noticed is, if you summarise them down to one-liners, Tommy is still playing the heel. But when you're Tommy Cornell, that can be a face gimmick.
  • Rockwell over Hall. Pete is an old, old friend, and he's done wonders for our up and coming talent in CZCW. Marc Speed's rise is in part due to him. We got him two months' TV time and a big PPV payoff by reinforcing Rick Law's student-of-the-game schtick, bringing him in as someone to help Rockwell remember who he used to be. He can fly back to Cliff Anderson's crew happy, I hope – and the added notoriety won't hurt CZCW's shows, either. I try to make sure our relationships with our dev feds aren't overwhelmingly negative.
  • Stone over Gorgon. Passing my netbook across to Ricky here, this being his feud. Hang on... OK, so Gorgon is my girl. She's the division monster, but there's only so long you can have your monster on top at a time. The anniversary made this the right time to switch belts, and we did it with a new weakness for Gorgon – one only one person can really utilise. New challenger in, and we start rebuilding Gorgon as she looks to seal off that weakness. Job done.
  • Hawkins over Keith. Five years ago, in the SWF, it would've been this that was the torch-passing moment. Here, it's not so important, but it's another big step on the journey. Sam will go on to deal with his family issues, for which he doesn't need the belt, and Wolf continues his run toward a collision with Cornell...
  • McFly over Lover, DuBois, Keith, Reed and Stone. The problem is, he first has to get through Sean. That should be a fantastic match, and it'll take up a decent chunk of the build to Destructive Energy, alongside the Three Kings stuff and a couple of other plotlines. Stone gets a face push, Matthew's angle with his family gets advanced, Reed looks strong through his association, and DuBois gets the push that was slated to go to Lover, because unlike Antonio, he was willing to take the big moment. Hotter than Hell's memory man walks away with the corresponding push. Watch this space...

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/Three%20Kings%20Brackets/Page_1.jpg

As September starts, the Three Kings Trophy tournament is warming up. With the prestige of being the first team to win this new trophy, not to mention the $100,000 apiece that comes with it, at stake, all sixteen slots - making for 48 competitors, a huge field - have been filled. Mayhem Midden has released the tournament blocks, as you can see, and he and Tommy Cornell have agreed to share oversight duties on the contest. So let's go over what we know of the teams.

BLOCK A

  • Huggins Heroes will consist of the three wrestlers under contract to Laura Huggins; Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle, and Walter Morgan
  • The membership of the Kings of Wrestling has not been fully confirmed. It's believed that the backbone of the team will be provided by the Elite Express.
  • The School of Tradition II team is believed to consist of Acid and Global Tradition, though this has not yet been confirmed.
  • The Three Amigos is the name that's been used by the wrestlers themselves to refer to the friendship between Rick Law, Rocky Golden and Chris Rockwell.

BLOCK B

  • The Easy Riders are, of course, Peter Hopper, Billy Fonda, and Sayeed Ali, under Carl Batch's watchful eye.
  • Painful Procedure's trio is expected to be Troy Tornado alongside the Young Guns.
  • The Texas Outlaws will revolve around Floyd Bowman's friends Ricky Dale Johnson and Texas Pete. Mayhem Midden has informed us that he doesn't yet know the identity of the third man.
  • Total Destruction is the terrifying trio of Tyson Baine and M.A.D.

BLOCK C

  • It's expected that Baroness Emily's charges from Team KOBRA will be Koshiro Ino and Team VIPER, though Shingen Miyazaki's recent title loss may upset the apple cart.
  • No confirmation as yet on the identity of Jack Marlowe's allies in the Enforcers. The mercenary Marlowe will have his sights set on the $300,000 prize money.
  • We expect the School of Tradition's A-team to feature Eric Tyler, All-Action Champion Freddy Huggins, and Frankie Dee.
  • The Blonde Bombshell has confirmed the line-up of her team as being Johnny Bloodstone and the Kreed.

BLOCK D

  • With the Machines so set in their membership, it's clear that Brent Hill, John Anderson, and Marc Speed will represent the iconic stable.
  • Three of Generation Omega will have to be mindful of their upcoming title defences at Destructive Energy, the same day as the Three Kings Trophy finals. It seems likely, therefore, that Phil Vibert's team will be Joey Minnesota, Marc DuBois, and Remo Richardson - who I have to admit, much to my dismay, are my pick for eventual Three Kings Trophy winners.
  • It seems Vibert's legacy casts another shadow over these finals... Extreme Measures has been confirmed to feature Eddie Peak and the New Wave, iconic DaVE Unified and Tag Champions
  • Darkwave is believed to comprise Sammy Bach, Zimmy, and Jack Bruce - dark horses for success, but they may be too individualistic.

The first-round matches are scheduled to run two on Total Wrestling, two on Saturday Night Showcase, for the first two weeks of September, with the quarter finals following the same schedule in the third week, one semi final apiece in the fourth, and the finals airing on Pay-Per-View during the Destructive Energy event at the end of the month.

Brackets? You know that that means!

TIME FOR RANDOM WILD GUESSING!

So, I'm going to start at the end: The Three Amigos are my pick for the eventual win. They're the longest-running trio in this iteration of TCW. They're all second-tier Main Event guys, so they can still get a rub off winning while simultaneously legitimising the tournament with a victory. Plus, they're a Face team, so a win for them at the PPV will send the crowd home happy.

MORE RANDOM GUESSING!

Generation Omega get bumped in round one. Yup, I'm saying it. Massive upset, signalling a renewed push for the Machines and a feud with Vibert's boys. The Machines are cost their spot in the semi-finals by Omega-ference. Generation Omega can afford a big loss here, if it moves them into a feud.

Bombshell's Boys go out in round one. Surprise of the tournament! Even Generation Omega losing isn't this big. But this brings the School Of Tradition back to the top tier. You see, SoT1 cheat their way to victory over Bombshell's Boys, while the Enforcers get DQ'd against Team KOBRA. Tyler paid Marlowe and his fellow hired guns off to cripple the opposition, so they lay down a sick beating and throw the match for a guaranteed cash prize. SoT1 are the Cinderella story of the tournament, making it to the semi-finals before losing to the Three Amigos.

And in the final... Three Amigos vs. The Easy Riders. I just have this thing... the Riders can just win. Any time, they can beat people. They can go over teams with twice their push, and that's okay, because they're big angry bikers. They're hardcore. They're heels, they're mostly brawl-based which works well with Rocky and Rick's strengths, and I mark out for them.

So, what do you guys think?

I'll talk about the Three Kings (wewt) later.

I want to say that my favorite posts show the logic behind the booking. I can then see if my teh epix rage was justified, intended, or if I completely missed something.

Predictions:

Kings of Wrestling > Huggins. Not that I dislike any of Huggins' charge (though I dislike her,) but I modified and pushed hard Nate Johnson and Bobby Thomas. I very, very much like them. They're the Canadian Machines.

Amigos > TraditionII. I don't like Eric Tyler for similar reasons why I don't like current Phil Vibert. Was Tyler in DAVE? Huh. Interesting. Anyway, I'm sure this pick is off, or prolly my other School pick.

Kings > Amigos. Duh, Kings, Three Kings. Yes, I just realized that. You know what would have been funny? Editing in Armor King, King, and...er...some other wrestler from Tekken as the Kings of Wrestling.

So Kings of Wrestling wins Block A.

Procedure > Riders. Tornado, I feel, ought to win, though otherwise I'm fine with the Guns losing.

Destruction > Outlaws. I'm not an Outlaw mark; muchin real life, I don't know the history enough. *shrug*. Unless the third is...uh...yeah, I can't think of a third Outlaw. Nope, give it to the big guys.

Destruction > Procedure. Since someone buried Tornado *glarz*, Big guys win it, easy. No contest. Tornado's the reason this match will go longer than 5 minutes. Btw, this is likely going to be one of the worst matches in the tourney. Well...any match with Destruction, I guess. No one on that team has psychology (well, in '10). Even Baine's at 70. That's...not good.

So Total Destruction wins Block B.

Enforcers > KOBRA. I'd imagine this is largely due to KOBRA crumbling. Or Miyazki punching...DAMMIT IT'S FUMIHIRO OTA. God. Hidekazu interferes, maybe? Is on the Enforcers? I'll predict that team, I guss: Jack Marlowe...huh. Jack Marlowe, Steve DeColt, and...uh...John Greed. Yep, you're bringing in new blood for this.

Bombshell > School. Even if the school mattered, that's probably the most ridiculous three-person team in the tourney. So much power and A*s.

Bombshell > Enforcers. I...don't see anyone in this block that matches Bloodstone, much less KREED.

So Bombshell's Boys wins Block C.

OMEGA > Machines. Pissed that KoW can't face the Machines. But...eh, you've made the machines not matter as much. At least, definitely not as much as OMEGA. And blah blah Remo spear Lumbar Extraction. Yes, his new move literally rips out the opponent's spine.

Darkwave > Extreme. Now this, this is interesting. Peak's a face. New Wave...should be heels. Darkwave is heel. So...yeah, I dunno how the matchups work, but I'm calling a DQ on Peak powerbombing, say, Zimmy off the turnbuckle. Uh, onto tacks. Yeah, tacks. Love them tacks.

OMEGA > Darkwave. Oh. Yeah, this...biggest heels in the company against...probably second biggest heels. Yep, I mispredicted something. OMEGA hasn't faced a threat yet. btw, I'm amused that Tornado can apparently get his credibility better than Bruce. So either Troy does better in matches-in which case, why not push him?-or he has better entertainment skills. Which I'm pretty sure is false.

Oh, waaaaaait. Man Under Pressure never happened. Bruce isn't ridiculously over. Well THAT explains a lot.

So, Generation Omega wins Block D.

That gives me Kings vs. Bombshell and Destruction vs. GenOme.

Kings > Bombshell. For this to happen, there needs to be a massive push for the Kings of Wrestling. Doable, since the ournament lasts...a month. Hrm. Well, maybe they debut earlier? We have some practice matches? Point is, I think it's obvious who I'm picking to win the thing. Also, this is the match of the tournament.

GenOme > Destruction. And here's the wost semi-final match. Destruction...needs more psychology. Also, Remo spearing any- and every-one on the opposing side? That will make me a fan of his. CRAP ANOTHER HEEL HEEL MATCHUP.

Kings > GenOme. HA HA YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING ALL THE WAY SUCK IT VIBERT! Almost typed 'Trebek'. Heh...Anyway, give the new debuts (heels? faces? Either way I hurt a match...) something big. Story-wise, it makes this title separate from everythign else in the promotion, allowing for new feuds.

So Kings of Wrestling win the Three Kings Championship.

~~

Where from here? The great thing about 3-man teams is that it's easy to cover for a poor worker. So something like...Edd Stone, Champagne Lover, and Giant Tana (he turns) works. They can fight CanEl, Rhino Umaga, and...El Fuerza. Duh. It's perfect. Each side has a poor-ish worker supported by at least decent ones, each side has an obvious opponent. Great for stories. I imagine after the title that three-man matches will happen sporadically, increasing in frequency toward the tournament, of course.

Kings...well, I'd want them to dominate everything. Since that probably won't happen, (Thomas/Johnson, Cornell, and [sam] Keith? HECK YES I FOUND THE KINGS) have them focus on only three-man matches. Prolly feud with Amigos, I imagine, as the other most solidified three-person team. But Amigos will fight solo at times, so Kings can take on...Bloodstone, McFly, and Jeremy Stone. I want a match that should be A* if anything is A*. And then have it hit B- >_>

Edit: Oh, and six out of my eight predictions were correct, with Vibert's crew being slightly different.

It seems like everybody's buzzing about it - the Three Kings Trophy and its big-money cash prize that seems to have sparked some alliances and solidified others.

Tonight, the path to Destructive Energy begins... and the show is packed. Elimination Protocol kick off proceedings going head to head with the New Wave, who will be looking for a strong showing to give their new trio of Extreme Measures some momentum.

The former TCW Womens Champion, Gorgon, is in line to get back to winning ways, too, if she can topple newcomer Shiori Jippensha. We wish Jippensha the best of luck, but I know which way I'm betting.

School of Tradition collide with Painful Procedure next as Acid Dragon lock up against the Balcony Express. Both teams could be considered heavy underdogs, but someone has to get the upper hand...

More tag action is scheduled to follow, as Amber Allen and Melody Cuthill unite against the team of Raku Makuda and Stephanie Wade. With a new champion, the division is in flux, and all four women will be looking for an opportunity to climb the ladder.

That leaves us with the biggest matches of the show. In the first Three Kings Trophy match, the first Group C contest is scheduled; Team KOBRA, represented by Team VIPER and Koshiro Ino, will take on the Enforcers. All that's known of the Enforcers thus far is that the team captain is Jack Marlowe.

Next, Group A get in on the action, as Huggins' Heroes - Sean Deeley and the British Lions - get into it against the Kings of Wrestling - the Elite Express and team captain Matthew Keith.

Finally, in the main event, Sean McFly unites with Tommy Cornell against the Darkwave duo of Sammy Bach and Zimmy.

It's going to be a wild night...

Prediction Key:

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

I like the fact you have 48 guys on the roster haha

Tournament looks stacked though

48 guys... plus the undercard... plus the women... plus Sean McFly... plus Sam Keith... plus Jeremy Stone... and, oh yeah, plus Tommy Freakin' Cornell!

*

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave Only one team in the tourney in this match...

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha Squash. Has Jippensha even had a match yet? If so, and she'd been established as a Barry-Horowitz-style try hard, I could see her getting a fluke win or DQ or something here, but honestly she's positioned to be destroyed.

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk Just don't 'get' the Express, even with the benefit of tag experience and time in development they seem to just be there to make up the numbers... which I guess is what they're here for tonight

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade Hard to vote against Makuda with her badass render...

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily With KOBRA on an iffy streak, I'm tempted to pick against them, but you've suggested issues with SoT, so let's give them a little more momentum just yet...

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson) The Heroes have greater star power

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell With the best will in the world, this the Darkwave B team (which, I guess, makes Bomb and Bruce the A team... which doesn't sound too far off the truth... :p) against two of the top 5 in the business

Incidentally, PS, are the Kobra boys/gal heels or faces? I've sort of lost track, but I had the vague idea they were heels.

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

-New Wave may be part of the greatest trio in the tournament.

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

-Via Submission. Or Gorgon dominates, but I think a submission loss is better.

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

-I like Balcony Express but they don't win here.

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

-Stephanie Wade is my favorite female worker in the C-Verse

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily

-Special mystery allies = win

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)

-Hard to not pick Matt to win, mist aside

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

-Umm, duh (right?)

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

Protocol continues to job

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

Gordon gets back to her winning ways.

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

Not 100% sure on this one but I like Acid Dragon and this is a match that they could easily win.

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

Pretty much a coin flip but Stephanie is the one who have had most TV time so far.

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily

Hard one like most of these tournament matches but I don´t see Marlowe getting that far on this tournament and if the mystery guys are meant to be Marlowe´s lackeys then I don´t see them getting over KOBRA as though KOBRA has problems this particular combination doesn´t seem to have troubles with each others.

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)

I was writing Kings of Wrestling off as Elite Express though good isn´t exactly top guys but Matthew makes this a whole new ball game... Still I go with Huggins Heroes on this one but it´s lot closer than I though it would be.

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

Zimmy is the weak link here and Bach isn´t on the same level than Tommy or Sean either.

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

Pseudo competitive squash.

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

The debutant does the job, as the 'monster' gets back on the horse called 'winning'.

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

Acid Dragon have been booked as skilled jobbers thus far, but this is one they can definitely win to get onto the winning ladder.

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

Makuda and Wade have had more combined television exposure, this isn't all that hard to call.

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily

At first I though the Enforcers would take advantage of KOBRA's internal conflict but as Zergon pointed out this set of KOBRA don't actually seem to have any real issue with each other. Then again why would Marlowe enter this tournament with a pair of jobbers, pretty much giving him no chance of winning the prize. I keep flip flopping on this one, but I've decided to roll the dice and back Jack and the mystery men to advance.

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)

The prescence of Misty Matt does give the Kings a chance, but this tournament was made for more 'united' trios such as Huggins Heroes, whilst I see a team like the Kings just there to make up the numbers.

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

With no disrespect to Bach and Zimmy, they have absolutely zero chance against the next world title challenger and THE perennial world title challenger.

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

JOBBERS!

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

Keep the former champ strong.

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

A team Acid Dragon can beat! Awesome!

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

Picking for the heels for the first time in ages.

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily

See my earlier predictions - The Enforcers go all-out to cripple the KOBRA guys, earning a DQ.

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)

An upset by the KoW means that we get a face-heel match in round two vs. The Three Amigos.

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

Yeah but no.

Prediction Key:

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

New Wave gets a badly needed win to maintain some semblance of credibility.

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

In Japan, this would be a no-brainer. But it's not, so it's a different no-brainer. Once Shiori gets known a little bit in North America, though...

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

See Wave, New above.

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

I love Amber and Melody, but this seems a bridge too far. Besides, with a new champ in town :D heels are chasing so will be getting more wins.

GROUP C:

Enforcers (Jack Marlowe, ???? & ????) vs. KOBRA (Koshiro Ino, Fumihiro Ota & Shingen Miyazaki) w/ Baroness Emily

Bracketology time! On paper this seems like a classic 8-9 seed matchup that could go either way. That being said, I think the winner is facing Bombshell's Boys in the next round. That suggests that the 'never bet against ???' rule is the one to follow, and that the reveal is going to be worth making that matchup for.

GROUP A:

Huggins Heroes (Sean Deeley, Merle O'Curle & Walter Morgan) w/ Laura Huggins vs. Kings of Wrestling (Matthew Keith, Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)

This seems more like a 4-13 matchup. Yeah, Matt keeps it from being a foregone conclusion, but unless he's rationed the Ichihara Ichor, I don't see him overcoming his physical issues.

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

Umm...yeah. Probability of Charlie Foxtrot near 80% though.

Elimination Protocol vs. New Wave

Protocol continue to show why they found their place in TCW, but the New Wave have ten years' experience, ten years' unity, and we're almost in their back yard, the duo having grown up together in and around the Southern wrestling business thanks to 'Referee Billy' Barrowman.

With crowd support that their recent behaviour doesn't entirely deserve, the Wave romp home with this one, Guide pinning Technique after the Wave of Mutilation.

“I'm waiting for the penny to drop,” Azaria says quietly. “Did we miss some kind of trick?” It appears, however... not this time.

Gorgon vs. Shiori Jippensha

As tough a debut match as anyone faces in TCW, this one, and certainly the newcomer doesn't get much chance to show what she can do.

She aims for the ankle – and Gorgon destroys her, beating her inside four minutes with the Hydra Bomb. The monster may have a weak spot, but it's not as simple as that.

“Yeah,” Mayhem Midden is telling Autumn Gleeson. “The Three Kings thing should be good for tag team competition as well as the solo artists who're teaming up. To my mind, the teams that don't have that history of working together are at a serious-”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/FloydBowman_jhd2.jpg

“You wanted to see me, boss man?” Floyd Bowman stands with his hand on the doorframe, looking into Midden's office.

“Yeah, Floyd... come in.” Midden smiles. “I think you know what this is about.”

“The ****ing third man question? Come on, boss man, have a little faith. All I'm doing is adding a little ****in' mystery. Aren't I allowed to do that?”

Midden sighs. “If you need to stop Total Destruction scouting you to get through to the second round, then... well, your second round opponents will crush you. But keeping it secret from me is something different, Floyd – I've got a responsibility to the fans to make sure we showcase good talent. And from everything I've heard, you're not using anyone under a current TCW contract.”

“That's the sad ****in' truth, sir... that's the sad ****in' truth.”

“Which all means you need to GET him one... and that happens on my say-so. So who is it?”

Bowman looks around, flips off the camera, and leans in, whispering in Midden's ear. Roughly three syllable's later, the Board's Representative gives off something like a war whoop. “And he's AGREED?”

“**** yeah. Proud ****in' Texan, respects the business, why the **** wouldn't he?”

“Tell him there'll be a contract at his door tomorrow morning if I have to mug the FedEx guy and drive it over myself.”

“Damn ****in' right.” Bowman leaves, grinning widely. Gleeson looks from him back to Midden. “So... who is it?” she asks.

“Darling, if he wanted you to know, I believe he would've told you, not me. Excuse me, I've got a contract to make totally goddamn watertight.” Midden leaves the office, leaving Gleeson standing, a little confused, in his wake.

Acid Dragon vs. Balcony Express w/ Randall Hopkirk

The quality of this tag match isn't surprising – the Express and Acid Dragon are both well-oiled tag teams, and all four men have decent-to-good talent.

But this match makes something of a milestone, nonetheless. The fans are starting to care, more and more. The reactions to what they're doing... it's not on the level of TCW's top teams, but there are genuine fan reactions.

When Hopkirk flips off UK Dragon, the crowd pop; when Waldorf's attempt at the Waldorf Salad Toss is cut off and countered into a tornado DDT, they moan in sympathy. Statler and Waldorf hit an electric chair/dropkick combo on UK Dragon, and there's a strong pop for it; and the Acid Rain Bomb that finishes Waldorf off draws some surprising heat as the School of Tradition duo bail from the ring.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/AaronAndrews-1.jpg

Aaron Andrews is walking backstage, in street clothes, with a purpose. “Hey, Aaron,” calls a voice from behind the camera. “You mind if we follow?”

He grins and shrugs. “Whatever floats your boat. I'm not hiding anything.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MayhemMidden.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/TommyCornell_alt1jt.jpg

The camera follows him down a corridor, and around a corner, to find Mayhem Midden deep in conversation with Ricky Dale Johnson and Tommy Cornell. Midden sees the camera and clears his throat loudly; the conversation dies away.

They turn to look at the new arrivals. A nervous expression flickers across Aaron's face, but he presses on nonetheless. “Maybe this is a bad time,” he says. “Maybe not. But I've had it with Generation Omega.

“Tommy, a long time ago you asked me to tag up with you and watch your back. Now, I said no – but things have changed.

“I want them gone – and I know you guys do.

“It's time we broke that group up.”

Cornell looks at him thoughtfully. “Well, when you're right, sunshine, you're right...”

Amber Allen & Melody Cuthill vs. Raku Makuda & Stephanie Wade

A slight absence of fans during this match gives the womens' division members something to work for, but with Amber and Melody still underexposed, this one doesn't have the kind of support it really needs.

Makuda and Wade work hard to overshadow their opponents, and in the end, it turns out well for them; Allen has the Makuda swanton scouted, and Cuthill kicks out of the Makuda Roll – but the big threat of Stephanie Wade, the superkick, can hit anyone, anywhere, at any time – and Melody turns around right into it, giving Stephanie Wade the cover and the victory.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/AutumnGleeson.jpg

The big screen comes back to life as Autumn Gleeson is waiting in the interview room. She smiles. “It does my heart good to see good womens' tag wrestling on an international stage,” she says. “Up next, though, is the first match in the Three Kings tournament – as Team KOBRA go up against the Enforcers. With me at this time – Jack Marlowe.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/JungleJack_alt1.jpg

'The Enforcer' steps into shot with a smirk. “Jack,” Autumn continues, “one of the questions that's been on everyone's lips around here is who you're bringing in. Now... I know you've already gone through clearing their contracts with Mayhem Midden-”

Marlowe puts his hand over the microphone. There's a long moment where the two look at each other in silence.

He raises his other hand... and gestures. Two others step into shot.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/BulldozerBrandonSmith_alt3.jpg

“Brandon Smith,” Azaria gasps. “One of Rip Chord's trainees... and if that's not qualification to be here, I don't know what is. They called him the 'Bulldozer' when he played football for the Minnesota Gophers.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MikeyJames.jpg

“And that's... Mikey James! Made it to the World Kickboxing Assocation World Championship finals in 2005. Lost out in the semis, but... word has it Professor Nero got his hands on him a year later.

“I guess 'The Dragon' learned well, if he's on Marlowe's wavelength... Of course, back in 1999, Jack Marlowe sided with Professor Nero in Philly Power Pro Wrestling. This team has a scary pedigree...”

Marlowe takes his hand off the microphone. “We've got a match to win,” is all he says before the trio walk away.

Team KOBRA w/ Baroness Emily

A simply brutal match. The Enforcers have some finesse – his name is Mikey James – but they don't use much of it here. Ino can give as good as he gets, but Team VIPER are founded on pace and technique, and Smith and James have the technique to counter and the power to prevent the pace from mattering.

To his credit, Ino kicks out after a massive inverted piledriver from the Bulldozer – but Ota is not so lucky, when Jack Marlowe nails a Jackhammer. Team KOBRA have been kicked out of the Three Kings Tournament by the dangerous new faction.

The rest of Team KOBRA hit the ring, one by one. The match participants, quite frankly, look shellshocked by what's happened over the course of the match.

Thunder Snake goes to one knee before Baroness Emily and holds out his hands; somewhat surprised, she looks to Ino, who shakes his head fractionally.

Kings of Wrestling

Now this one... feels about even. The Lions have the edge on the Express – just barely, oh so barely – but Matthew Keith, even with his difficulties, seems able to outperform Sean Deeley, so long as he can do it in short bursts – and the tag format is perfect for that.

And so the contest remains an even one, with neither side really able to get the better of the other. The Lions will get the upper hand, and Sean Deeley can retain it – until he can't.

With Walter on the outside clutching at his shoulder, his tag partner's attention is on him. Sean is on his own – and Eric Tyler vaults up onto the apron.

Deeley turns to face him – Bobby Thomas lariats him from behind – the Express hit their Precision Driller, and Matthew Keith blind-tags Thomas to pick up the pin.

Tyler walks away, smirking.

Sammy Bach & Zimmy vs. Sean McFly & Tommy Cornell

Sean and Sammy are in the ring to start, and McFly soaks in the cheers from the crowd as they boo Bach.

They close, and Sean goes for a series of forearm shots rather than a lock-up, driving the self-styled 'Rock God' into the corner, backing away – judo flip as Sammy comes out. Bach promptly moves across to one corner and tags out.

Zimmy enters just as Tommy Cornell tags for his side; the two stare at each other for a moment, then close. Zimmy ducks the lock-up with a go-behind – German suplex is blocked, and Tommy elbows free.

Zimmy promptly nails a dropkick. He hops onto the second rope and leaps backward, nailing the company owner with an inverted DDT as he lands.

A quick cover sees Tommy kick out a few moments before two; they move apart and close again. This time Cornell acts first, getting an armdrag and following it up with a belly-to-belly.

He climbs to the second turnbuckle and leaps off with the flying brain chop known as the Three Inch Shrink, then tags out to McFly.

Sean opens by Zimmy in his mid-section. He heads to the ropes, and Bach knees McFly from the apron. Zimmy uses the distraction to take over, a rolling hook kick to Sean's temple to drive him to the mat, before vaulting to the top rope and soaring off in a fluid moonsault. ONE, TWO – NO!

Zimmy keeps on him, unleashing a karate-styled kick rush before leaping, hitting a tornado DDT from a standing start.

Sean battles back from his knees with punches, but Zimmy's in the way of his escape; he drives him back with a volley, then runs and jumps, looking to dive over the Darkwave man and tag out – but Zimmy catches him on his shoulder. Sean's fingers, at full stretch, miss Tommy's by a matter of inches.

Zimmy tags out with Sean on his shoulder and delivers an inverted atomic drop; Sammy slingshots over his head to deliver a clothesline on McFly as he recoils from the impact.

The two engage in a chain wrestling sequence and Sammy applies the Bach on your Back, but he can't get McFly off his feet. Finally, with a dive, Sean tags out. Tommy comes in and stomps on Bach, breaking the hold, then whips Sammy to the ropes.

He goes for a spinebuster, but Sammy twists free, landing on his feet, and looks for a superkick – Cornell ducks it – Bach ducks in turn and as Cornell turns, he turns into a slingshot spear by Zimmy, who rolls out of the ring quickly, leaving Sammy to take over on the former Syndicate leader.

The beatdown begins, and Sammy tosses Cornell shoulder-first into the ringpost before going to work on that shoulder. He applies a series of nasty armlocks before Tommy finally manages to get clear, this time by elbowing free with his other arm, and stumbles to the corner to make the tag out.

McFly delivers a few chops and a pair of running elbows. He sets up for a superkick of his own but gets met with a missile dropkick from Zimmy.

Sean meets a second Zimmy charge with a backdrop over the ropes, then hip tosses Bach over to land on his partner, much to the support of the crowd.

He points to the far ropes, drawing even more approval, and runs for them, but he's met halfway across the ring by a springboard double-knee from Zimmy. A Blood Rush attempt gets blocked, and Sean powerbombs Zimmy before Sammy Bach comes in from behind him with the coast-to-coast bulldog.

Cornell promptly takes Bach out with a running boot and snap DDT, only to turn around into a Blood Rush. Zimmy celebrates, but McFly hits the Stone's Throw – and Bach nails an enzuigiri. Standing shooting star press from Bach on McFly and a cover – ONE, TWO, THR- NO!

Sean turns it over into a cover of his own – ONE, TWO, TH- NO! Sammy pops up and Cornell, using his good arm, whips Zimmy into him; the crash sends Sammy spilling out of the ring. Sean promptly nails the Delorean Driver on the stunned Zimmy, floating over into a cover – ONE, TWO, THREE!
