D-Lyrium
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8177945.stm Died of cancer this morning, he'd previously beaten it four or five times. He was 76, and one of the nicest guys ever. Even if you weren't a Newcastle/Ipswich/Fulham/WBA fan, he was awesome.
Marcel Fromage
One of the classiest guys in a game that's increasingly got fewer of them. Always carried himself with dignity. Always had that loveable side to him whatever team you happened to support. And he got England to within a penalty-shootout of the World Cup Final. A great man. He'll be sadly missed. TheEdgeOfReason
Sad to hear, a real legend of the game. RIP.
SuperOwens
RIP Bobby Did he make it to the charity match in his name the other day? I remember reading his autobiography a few years back, first time I realised he had ever been ill. Quite simply a national treasure.

chris caulfield
Great manager. Only really knew him as the Newcastle boss but after he left they soon dropped off, look where they are no, as he had them in the champions league. RIP Bobby.
