Avatar announces TV show

 

bloodynose.com - ALPHA-1 have offically agreed to a Television card on JSV starting in June, a 4-5 fight deal, the show will air ever 2-3month.

 

The first ever fight to be annouced for the card will be a rematch between Layla "The Slayer" Holmes and "Deadly T" Thea Higgins, for the newly minted ALPHA-1 Women's title.

 

The last match took place in the tournament, and was a 3 round war that ending in controversial split decision for Layla Holmes. It'll be interesting to see how the rematch goes.

bloodynose.com - ALPHA-1 announced Sunday that Yukichi Sato, has been released from the final fight on his contract.

 

In happier news, they announced the signing of "The Prodigy" Manuel Silva, to a 10 fight deal, with 5 guaranteed fights. No word on first opponent for the talented young Brazilian, but names like Caca de Andrade, and Toson Ono have been tossed around. More news as we get it.
