mcorey Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 What are the penalties both monetary and other for terminating contracts? I have a worker that I am not using and I don't think I will ever used, so he is complaining about his use. It is a PPA contact.
Nedew Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 You don't get hit with anything for terminating a PPA agreement, other than the fact that they might dislike you. You only get hit financially when cancelling a written deal, where you have to effectively pay what you they would've received in the duration of their contract as a lump sum. Plus they might dislike you.
Greg McNeish Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 And you won't be able to negotiate with them for the next 6 months.
Stennick Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 And if this person has friends in the company that you want to keep they may become upset you terminated their friends contract thus not resigning for you either.
