mad5226
Tuesday Week 4 April, 2009 From The Den in Boston, MA (Aired live on the Pop Network) Attendance: 2,000 (Sold Out) Announce Team: Duane Fry and Jerry Eisen Pre Show: http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/EricEisen.jpg Vs. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/MainstreamHernandez-1.jpg Eric Eisen Vs. James Hernandez Hernandez is still young, but is loaded with talent. He proved he was able to hold his own early in this match, and Eric Eisen proved he is able to carry a match if need be. All in all a very productive and informative match. Eric Eisen defeated James Hernandez in 6:04 by pinfall with a Silver Spoon Shock. Rating: B- http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/ChristianFaith.jpg Vs. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/AndreJones.jpg Vs. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/Aristocrat.jpg Christian Faith Vs. Andre Jones Vs. Paul Huntingdon Faith was being used later today in an angle but not a match; I figured I might as well have him training some of my younger guys. Huntingdon’s feud with Laramee is coming to a close and as of right now he is at a bit of a crossroad as to what to do next with him. Christian Faith defeated Andre Jones and Paul Huntingdon in 6:28 when Christian Faith defeated Paul Huntingdon by submission with a Test Of Faith. Tom Gilmore Both these men are loaded with potential and fresh off of a program just sitting in idol for a moment. I used this as an opportunity to try and not only get them in the ring but also to help boost my rating for the night. Tom Gilmore defeated Squeeky McClean in 10:13 by pinfall with an Anger Management. Rating: B http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/BartBiggz.jpghttp://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/BrettBiggz.jpg After the match Bart Biggz was scene sitting in the back talking to Jessie when their locker room door opened and in walked… Brett Biggz. Bart immediately jumped to his feet and Jessie let out a loud gasp. Both men stood motionless for a minute until Brett’s face broke into a smile and the two brothers embraced. Bart: “Thank God you’re alright, I’m so sorry about the way I’ve been acting.” Brett: “I saw your match last week, and you’re right, you deserved the chance to beat the hell out of James, and I’m sorry I ever doubted you. Bart: “All that is over now, I’m ready to focus on our team.” (Brett shoots his brother a huge grin.) Brett: “Good, because I’ve been cleared to wrestle on Sunday; let’s show the world who the greatest tag team of all time is.” (Everyone is all smiles as we fade to our first commercial break.) Shady K I was really disappointed with this match as both men were off their game. Nevada showed tremendous energy inside the ring but for whatever reason it just didn’t translate into good wrestling like I had hoped. At the end of the match I’m starting to wonder if I jumped the gun on this Nuclear push. Nevada Nuclear defeated Shady K in 6:49 by pinfall with a Mushroom Cloud. Nevada Nuclear makes defence number 3 of his SWF Shooting Star title. Rating: D http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/NevadaNuclear.jpg After the match Nevada Nuclear grabbed his belt and jumped around in the ring leaping to the second turnbuckle in a single leap and holding his title high for the entire world to see. Greg Rayne Sexy has been a real professional as of late when it has come to putting over other workers, and I decided to throw him a bone in this one. Rayne is coming along nicely and is showing some decent technical skills. However, Joe Sexy was to much for the younger Rayne to handle and the match was quickly over. Joe Sexy defeated Greg Rayne in 6:12 by pinfall with an One Night Stand. Rating: C- http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/DawnTheCheerleader.jpg The camera goes backstage next where Dawn the Cheerleader is seen putting on a “Team Supreme” cheerleader outfit (she was already dressed and when the camera got there all you see is her midriff.) When suddenly there’s a crash outside her locker and as she turns to investigate she is immediately grabbed by the throat by Vengeance. He quickly tosses the petit cheerleader over his shoulder, but before he can even turnaround he is assaulted by Christian Faith who seems to have come out of nowhere. He quickly batters Vengeance making him put Dawn down and giving her time to escape as we head to another commercial with these two trading punches. Frederique Antonio Garcia This was a simple match for the North American champ who looked at ease while fighting a man in pink tights. I’m betting he just channeled his 80’s rock days and felt right at home, but that’s just me. Jack Bruce defeated Frederique Antonio Garcia in 9:47 by pinfall with a New York Minute. Jack Bruce makes defence number 2 of his SWF North American title. Rating: C+ http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/JackBruce.jpg After the match Jack Bruce called for a mic much to the delight of the fans. Bruce: “Helllooooo Boston!” (Bruce got a cheap pop here because people love to hear their city’s name called.) Bruce: “Let’s just cut to the chase now shall we? I’ve been told I’ve got a “special” match Sunday night, but I’m not told what type or seven who it’s with. (The fans begin to boo as Bruce just smiles and hushes the crowd.) Bruce: “The whole thing got me thinking, it sounds an awful lot like the after party I had in Boston back in 89. There were tons of alcohol, even more ladies, and well let’s just say I didn’t know who I was with, or what we were doing but it sure was a hell of a lot of fun!” (The crowd erupts but it’s short lived as Cash Money make their way to the ramp.) Emma: “What a disgusting story!” (The crowd disagrees with her as the boos get louder.) Emma: “Jack I can promise you one thing, after Sunday you won’t be having any fun and much like that poor girl in your story you’re going to leave incredibly disappointed” (Cash Money bursts into laughter as they head backstage and we take out final break of the night.) Rich: “So it’s like I was saying, how would you like to make lots more money. Think about it, bigger rims for your ride, more bling for your neck, and all the respect you can imagine.” (Laramee thinks about this for a few seconds with a big grin on his face, then suddenly looks serious and grabs the mic.) Laramee: “My whole life I have busted my ass yo get where I am. I might not have the best rims, or the most bling, but the bottom line I earned what I’ve got, can you say the same thing?” (Money looks insulted and unsure how to respond.) Rich: “Fine have it your way, just remember this, no matter how hard you try, you’re always going to be a bottom feeding piece of trash…And that’s Mon…” (Money is unable to finish his sentence as Kurt Laramee begins laying into him nearly ripping his Armani suit off of him.) Rich Money This is Kurt’s first look at a main event match and he looked very good. Laramee’s brawling is continuing to improve, and against a great wrestler like Money he really shined. Money used his superior technical wrestling skills to control the match, but eventually the street smarts of Kurt Laramee took over and he began to look more and more like he was going to score the upset. That is until Emma Chase distracted the referee and Paul Huntingdon came out of nowhere to assault Laramee. Rich Money defeated Kurt Laramee in 11:50 by pinfall with a Bank Roll following interference from Paul Huntingdon. Rating: B Final Rating: B- TV Rating: .12 Notes: that’s actually a lot better than I initially thought this show was going to do. I was really surprised by a few of the grades especially the main event, although I should know by now to never doubt Rich Money.

Robbie Retro So somehow I managed not to get my best wrestler a spot on the PPV and I have to settle with putting him in a preshow match. I’m sure Robbie didn’t mind however as he benefited by working with a true professional in the ring. Rich Money defeated Robbie Retro in 9:48 by pinfall with a Bank Roll. The Amazing Bumfholes The Bumfholes always seem to be on, but tonight something was off with them, they seemed to be unfocused and as a result really hurt the match. Brett Biggz fought with the most fire I’d ever seen him fight with, but the crowd still wasn’t impressed. As a result this was the worst match these four have put on since the series started and as a result it completely bombed with the crowd. The Biggz Boyz defeated The Amazing Bumfholes in 10:44 when Bart Biggz defeated Randy Bumfhole by pinfall with a Biggz Up. After a couple of near falls Bruce began to slowly get back the momentum but it was soon halted after McClean yanked him back to the mat by his hair. Again though McClean was unable to put Bruce away and this time Jack Bruce would make the comeback complete getting McClean on the ropes and then hitting a New York Minute almost out of nowhere. Eventually the bell does ring however, and the fans looked on in horror as Eisen landed a solid right hand that dropped Bruce immediately. From there it was as if Eisen was toying with Bruce doing jumping jacks over his fallen body. This would give Bruce times to slowly get to his feet again and even mount some offense, before catching a thumb to the eyes. Bruce would then do nothing more than a quick school boy roll up with a handful of tights to get the huge win. Eric Eisen defeated Jack Bruce in 5:54 by pinfall with a quick roll up. Vengeance W/ The Guru I give props to the Guru, as deadly as Vengeance was before he looks even deadlier now that Guru has him focused. Faith didn’t show much regard to this however as he entered the ring behind Vengeance and immediately whipped him into the ropes and hit him with not one but two quick dropkicks that put the big man on his back. This got a standing ovation from the crowd as Faith mounted his foe and began unleashing a fury or rights and lefts to the face, or mask, or Vengeance. This all came to a screeching halt however, as Vengeance easily bench pressed Faith and tossed him a good five feet into the air making Faith come crashing down face first. The match would then spill to the outside where The Guru decided he wanted to get involved he held Faith’s arm behind his back allowing his client to land blow after blow to the near unconscious Faith. Vengeance would then grab a chair and swing for the fences, however Faith was able to get out of the way at the last possible second and Vengeance nearly took his manager’s head off. Faith then limped back into the ring a bloody mess, but Vengeance actually showed concern for his new leader and as a result got himself counted out. Christian Faith defeated Vengeance in 13:40 by count out. Rating: A http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa58/mad5226/SkullDeBones_alt.jpg The Guru would slowly come to and Vengeance would then realize the mistake he made. With chain in hand Vengeance made his way back into the ring. The referee attempted to stop him but was met with a stiff right that knocked him out cold. This should have given Faith enough time to escape the ring, however, he’s a face and therefore is expected to act like he isn’t afraid of a man twice his size with a chain wrapped around his fist. Faith tried to get the first blow, however he was knocked off his feet as the chain landed directly on his nose. The crack was heard echoing throughout the stadium and Faith hit the mat with blood gushing. Tom Gilmore Gilmore, fresh out of his feud with the very dangerous Vengeance has decided he has gained enough momentum even in lose to go against the reigning SWF champion. James saw this match as an easy win expecting Gilmore to still be injured by the blood bath last month. Much to the surprise of James though Gilmore was all business and dominated the first half of this match with solid technical wrestling and even some good old fashioned brawling when he felt it was needed. James quickly exited the ring to talk to his manager and discuss a different strategy. He didn’t have long to talk however as Gilmore followed him to the outside and continued his assault. James would then use a low by Chase to gain the momentum and use his size to his advantage. After James tossed Gilmore against the ropes and both men went for the clothesline it looked like we were going to get a double ten count; however, Gilmore made it to his feet first and signaled the end of the match with an Anger Management. As Gilmore lifted James into the air James was able to hook his knee and reverse it into a suplex of his own. From there the momentum stayed on the side of James and soon the fans were booing and hissing as they saw a Big Money Move and another successful title defense. Brandon James defeated Tom Gilmore in 12:26 by pinfall with a Big Money Move after Emma Chase interfered. Brandon James makes defence number 7 of his SWF World Heavyweight title. Rating: B+ Final Rating: B+ Buy Rate: 1.36 Notes: This was a great PPV for us and hopefully the momentum will continue to carry forward for the next couple of months. Vengeance is red hot right now, and despite not having any titles I would say he’s easily our number one heel. With Jack Bruce losing his match to Eisen where does that leave him in terms of number one face, and perhaps more importantly will he ever get a chance at the SWF title? The Biggz Brothers seem to be clicking again, despite the low match grade, and they look ready to take the series win after all. Where will next month take us? mad5226
I'm afraid this diary is dead guys. I was finishing up the PPV 2 nights ago and appearantly I let my laptop over heat so now the screen won't come on just stays black (Any computer help would be great). So between not having TEW on another computer and not having my notes I'm afraid this is a lost cause. I hope everyone enjoyed it though.
