Arlie Rahn
We've had a very good weekend of testing and we are getting closer to a demo. We've just added the ability to view how High Schools pump out recruits by seeing the number of 5,4,3,2 and 1-star prospects each school has had (sortable by region and/or state), as well as a total points value that rates each school overall. This will be a nice way to see what areas and/or schools have been a hotbed for recruits. We are also finishing up the History section of the game. In this section, you can view any season or career stat for any player that has ever played in your league. There are numerous filters (by team, season, stat type...) to help tailor your historical searches. We also have options for viewing team history. You can view a screen with the polls, GDCS and CPU ratings for every team in every season (with filters). You can view a team leaders that shows a few key leaders for that season (passing, rushing) and a team MVP. You can view league history by seeing the overall record, conf record, head coach, team grade and a result (ie, won bowl X or finished 5th in the conference). You can also see a postseason history screen that shows the result of every playoff/bowl game, as well as the game's MVP. One final note is that each name on these screens will point to either an active HTML player card or an "alumni" HTML player card. The alumni card will show the final team a player was on, his year-by-year stats, his career stats and any awards he may have won. Here's a sample of one from my test league. This guy is second in career passing yards and had quite a college career: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/images/alumni.jpg I will try and keep you guys posted in similar threads as we get closer to releasing a demo. btmlltt
The HTML card window looks to be a generic Windows theme, rather than looking like it belongs with the game. Is that intentional, or will it look like the rest of the game's interface upon release? Just curious. brad

Huckleberry
I take it that Henson is from a universe where postseason stats are not selected to be tracked for a player's career, correct?

It's not based on a theme either, it will be the same color for each version of windows. We will, however, have a folder with a published style sheet for users if people don't like the colors. cody8200
In college post season counts on statistics just like any other game of the year.
Huckleberry
Arlie has said it's an option. Logic is that if you choose to have playoffs then career and season stats records will be owned by players on good teams as they can play up to 17 games in a season. (16 team playoff and a conference championship game)

slingblade73
I hope the stats are correct in the sim. EA has really screwed this up this year.
SkyDog
Universe??? WTF does that mean? Is tracking post season stats an option?
A "universe" in text sim terminology, simply is a big-picture generic term for a "league." Your game "universe" is simply the entirety of the set of teams, conferences and rules that you set up.
