The WWF, What the world is watching (A 1991 Diary)

WWF

Back Story (Taken from EWR 1991 Read Me File)

1990, like 1989, was a disasterous year for the WWF where they nearly

went bankrupt. The Ultimate Warrior's run as world champion was a

complete disaster. Hogan (albeit the fans being tired of him anyway) is

off making movies. Sgt. Slaughter has become an Iraqi sympathizer by

this time and in a feud with Ultimate Warrior over the world title while

Warrior has a small side feud with Randy Savage who is managed by

Sensational Sherri. Will you pass off the world title to *shudder*

Sgt. Slaughter and have him feud with Hulk Hogan in that horrible Gulf

War angle or change history? Its upto you. Oh yeah, and the Undertaker

is here. You know, back when he was actually cool. Paul Bearer wasn't

brought in yet as his manager

Wow! WWF 1991 is REALLY popular right now. By my count, this is the fourth active diary for them (including me). It's always nice to see someone else's take.

Either Mr Perfect is a god (possible), or he had some wicked chemistry with Jim Duggan. I didn't think Hacksaw even knew what a B match was.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but there's already a diary called "What the World is Watching", by JudgeJuryExecutioner, which is also WWF 1991. Maybe if you let a mod know, you can get this changed to something that won't get confused with it, as it would be a shame for people to overlook this.

Other than that, you're off to a good start, and I'll be reading. Cheers!

I like the idea of what you guys are doing here... when Angeldelayette and I were going to go the distance with our 1991 joint diary, we had the same idea going into it, too bad we could never finish it off, I had some really fun storylines planned as did he...

Keep it up guys, I'll be reading as often as I can

Legend Retires

WWF Road Agent Arnold Skaaland today handed in his notice saying that he is through with the business. Skaaland 66 rose to fame as manager of former WWF Champions Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backland and Pedro Morales.

Former Stars Return

In a WWF hotline exclusive we can announce that both 'Superstar' Billy Graham and Jesse 'The Body' Ventura have resigned with the WWF. Former WWF Champion Graham is set to join Gorilla Monsoon on the new look WWF Superstars while screen star Ventura is set to join Vince McMahon and Roddy Piper on Wrestling Challenge

Wrestling Challenge Preview

This week on Wrestling Challenge we will see Jake 'The Snake' Roberts in action. It will be the first time Jake has been in action since The Survivors Series will his eye hold him back or will the snake slither his way to victory

Also after a controversial win last week on Prime Time against Dustin Rhodes, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase will face another WWF star from the lone star state The Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich

Also The Warlord will face Saba Simba one on one while in a massive ten man tag team match main event The Ultimate Warrior teams with The Rockers and Leigon of Doom to face The Orient Express and all three members of Demolition. LOD and Demolition have been on a colision course for months and last time these five men where in one ring at the Survivors Series it wasn't a wrestling match it was a fight. A victory for any one of these four teams could throw them right into contention for a tag team title shot, this is definately not one to be missed.

WWF SUPERSTARS

This week on WWF Superstars we will see two of the top contenders for WWF Championship as The Macho King Randy Savage battle Koko B Ware while Sgt Slaughter faces the american patriot Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a flag match where the winner will get to raise his countries flag. From there we will see The Hitman Bret Hart face Paul 'Romeo' Roma in singles competion and WWF president Jack Tunney has ordered that both Hercules and Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart are barred from ringside. Then in the main event Earthquake battles Tugboat
