I'm about to start a diary with WWE, starting in August 2009. I'll use a self-modified (updated) version of the H-Verse Database.

I'll post the first week of shows (RAW, ECW, SD!) later today, hopefully someone's interested...

By the way, I'm not a native English speaker, so sorry in advance for possible misspellings... :D

Dark Match:</p><p>

<a href="http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z275/ForeverAndAlwaysLJ/Gregory%20Helms/GregoryHelms5.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z275/ForeverAndAlwaysLJ/Gregory%20Helms/GregoryHelms5.jpg</a> <a href="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d64/strumble/WWE%20Superstar%20of%20the%20Day/JamieNoble.png" rel="external nofollow">http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d64/strumble/WWE%20Superstar%20of%20the%20Day/JamieNoble.png</a></p><p>

<strong>Gregory Helms</strong> defeated <strong>Jamie Noble</strong> in 6:10 by pinfall with a Shining Black. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(D+)</span></p><p> </p><p>

Main Show:</p><p> </p><p>

Standing at the entrance ramp, <strong>Vince McMahon</strong> tells the crowd that the company is going in a new direction. Therefore, he abolished Donald Trump’s idea of a Guest GM. Therefore, RAW needs a new authority figure. Without further adieu, he introduces the new boss in town - <strong>Ric Flair</strong>!!!</p><p>

<a href="http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x310/The_Ultimate_Wrestling_Gallery/Ric%20Flair/RicFlair059.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x310/The_Ultimate_Wrestling_Gallery/Ric%20Flair/RicFlair059.jpg</a></p><p> </p><p>

Flair says that he will rule fairly and without bias, and looks forward to taking the promotion to new heights. His first action as the new GM is to determine a #1 contender for <strong>Randy Orton</strong>’s title. Thus, <strong>Triple H</strong> and <strong>John Cena</strong> will meet in tonight’s main event and the winner will face Orton at Summerslam. To make sure it will be a clean fight, Randy Orton will be banned from ringside for the entire show.</p><p>

“Furthermore, there will be an 8 men tournament to determine who will face <strong>Kofi Kingston</strong> for the US Title at Summerslam. All first round matches will take place tonight, right here in Hartfort, Connecticut…”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Brian Kendrick</strong> defeated <strong>Evan Bourne</strong> in 9:33 with The Kendrick <span style="text-decoration:underline;">©</span>. Two of the best high-flyers in the WWE. A fast paced match with the better ending for Kendrick.</p><p> </p><p>

Nah this is fine Infity has used this style succesfully. Just make sure there is some story going on and move it forward at a good pace as this style makes posting easier. If you want to go into bit more detail but not lose speed check out James Casey's format and maybe keep this for ECW/Superstars or even a smaller form for that except if you have real plans for them. Personally I like pictures, intros etc and more detail but its personal preference.

Yeah, I hope I can keep the storylines afloat, as some of them are already planned 8 to 12 weeks in advance...

I should also mention that, as a "house rule", I am not allowed to sign workers who are currently on hiatus as it would be too easy to just sign Hogan, Lesnar and some other former stars with high popularity to short term contracts and then job them for some of my younger stars to get them over. I consider that highly unrealistic, so I will not do this...

I would add some more detail if I was you, I mean people have done diarys with little detail before and made it work, but WWE is sports entertainment not performance based promotions. When I watch WWE its not becuase I want to see who wins and losses the matches, its becuase I want to see the story move forward, I want to be entertained. this kind of write-up style works for superstars, but not for RAW and SMACKDOWN, becuase on those two are where you the storys are told.

Sidenote:

I was forced to bring in quite a bunch of new workers because of the roster requirements (under the 'Ideal Roster' section). This is because I am playing ECW as a seperate brand and a 3 brand company needs more workers than a 2 brand company.

Some of the new workers will debut soon, any guesses who they might be? Just throw out some names...

RAW will be posted in a couple of hours...

(waits until the crowd gets a little silent…) Last week we saw the <strong>Colon Brothers</strong> argue with each other. I am a family man, so I cannot stand to see two brothers arguing. As a result, the Colons will get their chance to get back together, as they will get a shot at the Unified Tag Team Titles tonight against <strong>Big Show</strong> and my old “friend” <strong>Jericho</strong>. And in tonight’s main event we will see a battle of the champions: WWE Champion <strong>Randy Orton</strong> will face United States Champion <strong>Kofi Kingston</strong> in a non-title match! Whoooooo!!!”</p><p> </p><p>

WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match:</p><p>

<strong>Chris Jericho and Big Show</strong> defeated <strong>Primo and Carlito</strong> in 8:58 when Chris Jericho defeated Primo by submission with the Walls Of Jericho. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(C-)</span></p><p>

<a href="http://i587.photobucket.com/albums/ss314/RukiTemaFan22/WWE/chrisshow.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i587.photobucket.com/albums/ss314/RukiTemaFan22/WWE/chrisshow.jpg</a></p><p>

Primo was completely helpless after his older brother Carlito simply walked away from the match, leaving Primo defenseless against the Tag Team Champions. Chris Jericho and Big Show make defence number 2 of their WWE Unified Tag Team titles.</p><p> </p><p>

US Title Tournament, 1st semi-final:</p><p>

<strong>MVP</strong> defeated <strong>Jack Swagger</strong> in 8:04 by pinfall with a quick roll up. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(D+)</span></p><p>

<a href="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o48/shawn0802/wwe%20superstar/MVP.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o48/shawn0802/wwe%20superstar/MVP.jpg</a></p><p>

In a moment of carelessness, MVP managed to roll up Swagger for a 3 count. The match rating is a dissapointment, though.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>John Cena</strong> is interviewed backstage by <strong>Crystal Louthan</strong>, he hypes his upcoming singles match against <strong>Randy Orton</strong> at Summerslam.</p><p> </p><p>

US Title Tournament, 2nd semi-final:</p><p>

<strong>The Miz</strong> defeated <strong>Mark Henry</strong> in 7:04 by pinfall after interference from <strong>Jack Swagger</strong>. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(D+)</span></p><p>

<a href="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d64/strumble/WWE%20Superstar%20of%20the%20Day/TheMiz-4.png" rel="external nofollow">http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d64/strumble/WWE%20Superstar%20of%20the%20Day/TheMiz-4.png</a></p><p>

Swagger came out and attacked Henry while The Miz distracted Referee Chad Patton. After Swagger hit the World’s Strongest Man with a chair, Miz was easily able to get the 3 count.</p><p>

After the match, Swagger enters the ring and continues to destroy Henry with the chair. He gets himself a Microphone and tells the world his intentions:</p><p>

“If I am not in the titlematch at Summerslam, why should this fattie be in it, huh? I am a two time All American. I should be instantly given the US Title. I should not have to qualify for the right to fight for it. Now we have a Jamaican wearing the United States Title. Are you kidding me? And what about fattie down there, huh? (points towards Henry, still down) World’s Strongest Man??? How strong is he now, huh?"</p><p> </p><p>

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler put over the fact that we'll be seeing The Miz take on MVP in the Final of the US Title Contenders Tournament, next week on RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Melina</strong> defeated <strong>Katie Lea Burchill</strong> in 2:41 by pinfall with a Spinning Facebuster. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(C-)</span></p><p>

<strong>Santino Marella</strong> is in the ring with a microphone. He claims that, because he is Italian, he is so good that he cannot be defeated by anyone, and so he is making an open challenge for any wrestler on the roster to face him in a singles match.</p><p>

<a href="http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr269/martintew/AfaJr2.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr269/martintew/AfaJr2.jpg</a></p><p>

We hear some strange sounds in the arena. Out comes a barbaric looking big man who enters the ring and doesn’t wait until the bell rings to attack Santino.</p><p>

After a couple of minutes, the big guy hits a Samoan Drop on the Italian to finish him off. Then we hear music again and a well-known face comes out, smoking a cigar and holding a microphone…</p><p>

<a href="http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/A%20Images/Armando_Estrada3.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/A%20Images/Armando_Estrada3.jpg</a></p><p>

“Everybody listen… haha, to me! My name is Arrrrmando Alejandro Estrrrada, haha. What you see in the ring is none other than <strong>Afatu</strong>, the brother of my former client Umaga. He has come all the way from the island of Samoa. As this little pizza-boy down here just experienced, Afatu will destroy anyone in his path and I will lead him to glorious heights here in WWE.”</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/My_Diary_EWR/Wrestlers/Primo_Colon.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/My_Diary_EWR/Wrestlers/Primo_Colon.jpg</a> <a href="http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll50/Kooky_K/Carlito.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll50/Kooky_K/Carlito.jpg</a></p><p>

Backstage, we can see <strong>Primo</strong>, who confronts his brother, <strong>Carlito</strong>, why he walked away from the match. Carlito doesn’t reply, simply leaving Primo standing alone in the locker room.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Triple H</strong> defeated <strong>Chris Masters</strong> in 8:44 by pinfall with a Pedigree. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(B-)</span></p><p>

<a href="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh108/king-lobo/EWR%20Roster%20Pics/S-T/Triple_H2.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh108/king-lobo/EWR%20Roster%20Pics/S-T/Triple_H2.jpg</a></p><p>

After the match, we see Triple H celebrating his victory in the ring. <strong>DiBiase & Rhodes</strong> run in and attack, beating HHH down into the mat and impersonating the famous DX gestures.</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n254/johncena_angel23_1977/JOHN%20CENA/thMoreCena.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n254/johncena_angel23_1977/JOHN%20CENA/thMoreCena.jpg</a></p><p>

Time for out main event. After the two competitors made their entrances, we see <strong>John Cena</strong> come to the ring, taking a seat at the announcers table. Orton clearly feels distracted by his Summerslam opponent.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Randy Orton</strong> defeated <strong>Kofi Kingston</strong> in 13:24 by pinfall with a RKO. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(B+)</span></p><p>

Kofi nearly got away with the victory after Orton was seemingly distracted by John Cena at ringside. In the end Orton was able to hit the RKO out of nowhere to get the 3 count. After the match, Cena enters the ring. In the ring and tries to stare Orton down. After pushing each other around a bit, a battle is just about to emerge, but a slew of security officials rush the ring and keep them apart.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Main Show:

To start off the show, a video plays hyping the goings on in the Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk storyline.

In the ring, Jeff Hardy and CM Punk trade barbs, and are just on the verge of a conflict when GM Theodore Long interrupts and tells them that tonight, they'll have to put their differences aside, as they'll be teaming up to take on Jericho and Big Show in a non-title tag team match! J. Hardy and CM Punk react in shock, and stare each other down in suspicion.

Meanwhile, Teddy Long takes a seat next to Jim Ross, as he will join the announcers team for the upcoming Intercontinental Title match.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match:

Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler (w/ Maria) in 7:59 by pinfall with a surprise roll up. (C-)

Rey Mysterio makes defence number 3 of his WWE Intercontinental title.

An even match with a controversial ending. Ziggler thought he had the victory and started to celebrate too early. Mysterio grabbed his pants and rolled him up for a quick 3 count.

After the match, Ziggler storms over to the announcers table and complains to Teddy Long, claiming he should have won the match and he clearly feels betrayed.

‘No chance, you got – no chance in hell…’

http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll88/Brianpage2169/WWE/vince.jpg

Out comes the boss himself! Vince McMahon steps in front of Theodore Long and tells him that he is surplus the requirements at SmackDown! Therefore, Long is suspended indefinately from all Smackdown shows. A new, more competent, GM will be revealed next week. As for tonight, VKM himself will take care of buisness… Theodore Long is escorted out of the arena by security guards.

Backstage, Kane and The Great Khali meet and an epic staredown of the giants begins. Out of nowhere, Kane knocks Khali down with a foreign object. He than goes after his manager Ranjin Singh, who barely escapes.

Both workers didn’t seem to click, which undoubtly hurt the flow of the match. Morrison didn’t have much trouble to finish Kurt Angle’s former understudy off.

After the match, Morrison is interviewed in the ring by Maria. After emphasizing how glad he is to be on SmackDown, he introduces his new valet: Brooke Adams

http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww136/AshleyAndCenaEver/Brooke%20Adams/Brooke_Adams5.jpg

During the entire match, tensions between Hardy and Punk could be seen. But they managed to focus on buisness, showing great professionalism. After a good, even fight, Hardy was finally able to hit the Swanton Bomb on Jericho.

When Referee Charles Robinson wants to raise the winners’ hands, he gets pushed away by Punk, who throws out a series of kicks on Hardy before hitting the GTS on his Summerslam opponent.

Mickie James makes defence number 1 of her WWE Divas title.

Backstage, Primo Colon is interviewed by Crystal Louthan and he challenges his brother Carlito to a match next week on RAW. After the interview, Santino Marella enters the scene and tries to impress Crystal by flexing his bicep. Primo just laughs at Santino and leaves…

Evan Bourne defeated The Brian Kendrick in 6:37 by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press. ©

In this battle of the highflyers, Air Bourne finally got revenge for the loss he suffered two weeks ago. Kendrick’s winning streak comes to an abrupt end.

Before our main event kicks off, Randy Orton, accompanied by Rhodes and DiBiase, cuts a vicious promo on John Cena in the ring. After all, he is interrupted by Cena’s entrance.

2 vs 3 Handicap Match:

John Cena and Triple H defeated The Legacy (Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes) in 15:46 when John Cena defeated Ted DiBiase by pinfall with an F-U. (B-)

Unfortunately, the match suffered from lack of chemistry between Cena and The Game. When HHH and Cody Rhodes brawled near the announcers table, Cena hit his finisher on DiBiase, with Cena not taking his eyes off Randy Orton, who stood on the apron in his team’s corner. Orton decided to give away the victory and not attack Cena in an effort to save his own body for his match on Sunday.

The show ends with Triple H and Cena in the ring, shaking hands and showing mutual respect.

<strong>Snitzky</strong> makes his way to the ring, looking angry, as always…</p><p>

<strong>Christian</strong> defeated <strong>Snitsky</strong> in 6:41 by pinfall with an Unprettier. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">(C-)</span></p><p>

After getting overpowered early by the man with the yellow teeth, Christian struck the Unprettier out of nowhere to get a lucky win although being on the receiving end of the battle for almost the entire match.</p><p> </p><p>

Christian is in the ring, barely able to stand after his match against Snitzky. Out of nowhere, <strong>Ezekiel Jackson</strong> hits the ring and attacks.</p><p>

<span>http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh108/king-lobo/EWR%20Roster%20Pics/E-F/Ezekiel.jpg</span></p><p>

<p>Thanks Final Countdown, I changed the last episode of ECW to test if the picture-thing works. I edited every single picture with the IMG tag (yes, that yellow mountain icon) on the last ECW episode.</p><p>

Still, when I look at the posts, the pictures don't show up, I still have to click on the links to see the pics. Am I missing something or could it be a browser related problem? I tried Opera and Firefox...</p><p>

Any help appreciated!</p>

Most of your pictures are showing up fine on the most recent ECW, at least in my browser. There's a link to a picture of Shelton Benjamin, rather than the picture itself, and the picture of the 4th member of the Independent Allstars doesn't show up. Larry Sweeney, Claudio and Austin Aries load fine, but whoever the 4th member is supposed to be, it's not working. That one seems to be an issue of Photobucket bandwidth, and I noticed by browsing some of your image URLs that you seem to be using pre-existing Photobucket accounts, rather than creating your own. I suggest you register an account on Photobucket (it's free), and upload all the pictures you want to use onto there. That should solve any bandwidth problems.
