Andre the Giant versus the Superfly, a rematch between Ricky the Dragon Steamboat and Don Muraco for the Intercontinental title, and the big one, Sgt Slaughter challenging Bob Backlund for the world title. Brain what do you think?" Heenan: "I think we’re going to have two new champions, I think we’re going to have a giant knocked off his beanstalk and I think I will make the biggest impact of the night.” Monsoon: "You?!" Heenan: "Just wait Monsoon, just wait." Monsoon: "One thing that can’t wait is the action tonight. Let’s go down to the ring." The Sheik shows off some strength and wears down Williams for a few moments, working on his neck. Andre, in a few days time you’ll be back in the ring with the dangerous Superfly jimmy Snuka. What do you intend to do this Sunday?” Andre: “Gene, that is a very good question. What will I do? Will I break his leg? Will I break his arm? Will I break his neck? It is a lot to decide on.” Okerlund: "So you intend to seriously hurt Jimmy Snuka.” Andre: “Oh no no, I don’t want to hurt him. I want him to be out of wrestling for good. He and Albano have caused enough trouble in the WWF for long enough. When I am done with him, there will be nothing left and then I will get my hands..” he shows his outstretched hand to the camera, “…on Albano and I will have fun with him too.” Okerlund: “Gorilla, from the look in this man’s eyes and his tone I have to say I believe him. Valentine enjoyed the early momentum but with the fans help Orndorff makes a comeback, reversing an Irish Whip and hitting a series of clotheslines to get Valentine on his heels. Valentine regains control for a moment but when he attempts to lock in the Figure Four Leglock, Orndorff kicks him off into the corner, causing Valentine to hit his head on the turnbuckle. Stunned, Valentine backs up into the full nelson. Try as he might, he can’t get out of Orndorff’s hold and the referee calls for the bell. <BR> Winner: Paul Orndorff by submission (D+) <BR> ============ <BR> A video is shown in which a person is walking around the grounds of a mansion. In the pool, beautiful girls in swimsuits frolic and play. From the first person perspective, the person is examining what appears to be his home. In the distance several expensive sports cars are parked in the driveway. Man: “I’ve been telling you people for weeks that it’s not easy being the Ultimate Male and yet I get the feeling that you out there cannot appreciate the hardships in my life. The pressure of…performance….” he glances at the girls, “….the training and health regiment that I put myself through on a daily basis. Slaughter to attack from behind. From that point on, the fate of Garea rested in Slaughter’s hands. He virtually tortures his opponent as the Wizard yells from ringside, telling Slaughter to pretend Garea is Bob Backlund. After several moments, the Cobra Clutch is cinched in and the referee calls for the bell. <BR> Winner: Sgt. Slaughter by submission © <BR> ============ <BR> Backstage the cameraman is sprinting as referees and officials run ahead of him. Soon enough a four man brawl comes into view as the Wild Samoans and the Soul Patrol are battling it out in a locker room. Sika and Atlas in one corner and Johnson and Afa in another. Officials flood the room trying to separate the two teams. After several moments they finally succeed. (C+) <BR> ============ <BR> A graphic is shown announcing that following the last commercial break, it’ll be the main event. The match, once it begins with Steamboat versus the Masked Superstar, is a back and forth affair with all four men seeing action. Morales, after being double teamed for several moments, makes the tag to Steamboat who cleans house and then focuses on the Masked Superstar. However the referee is distracted by Morales wanting to come back in and Muraco rolls back into the ring and hits a low blow on Steamboat. Masked Superstar takes advantage and hits a quick elbow off the second rope to secure a pinfall. <BR> Winners: Don Muraco and Masked Superstar by Pinfall (C+) <BR> Following the match, Masked Superstar and Muraco look to deal more damage to Steamboat but Pedro Morales grabs a chair from ringside and re-enters the ring sending the duo to the outside.
