<p>WWF Light Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

<strong>Great Sasuke</strong> vs. Kid Kash</p><p>

Kash hasn't been built to this much, and Sasuke was pretty much the fall guy for the Jarrett/Lynn feud, so a retention here is for the best.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rhino</strong> vs. Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat</p><p>

Damn..I like Rhino, but I'm not sure I'd put him over Steamboat with no build, this fast..what I'd do here is have Rhino pound on Ricky, but find himself unable to quite put him away. Eventually, Rhino's temper gets the better of him and he gets himself DQ'd, setting up for a PPV match where Rhino wins the blowoff...but I don't see that happening, so.. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Edge and Christian</strong> vs. The Darkside</p><p>

Yeah, I may be picturing E&C being hotshot upwards, but frankly, when you're doing an old-school scenario, and you have future main eventers, especially ones that first blew up around this era, it's kinda hard not to push them from the gate..</p><p> </p><p>

No.1 Contender Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title</p><p>

Bradshaw vs. ‘Dr Death’ Steve Williams vs. <strong>Jeff Jarrett</strong></p><p>

Coming off winning the blowoff (for now) feud with Lynn, I see yet another IC run in Jarrett's future. He's just a great fit for the belt. But hey, you want my advice on Jarrett - once the Attitude Era really starts getting underway, try and move him into a badass face role. Not a Stone Cold-like rebel, just more of a take-no-crap guy..basically, the gimmick he ended up transitioning into, but while working against heels. Worked wonders for me in an EWR game, just made him a lot more interesting. He changed his look around this time to that of a much more hard-ass wrestler look, might as well capitolize on that. Always felt Jarrett could've done more in the WWF.</p><p> </p><p>

Farooq vs. <strong>Jerry Lynn</strong></p><p>

Well, the future prospect here is pretty clear..Lynn could use this win, maybe challenge Jarrett for the IC belt once he wins it?</p><p> </p><p>

No.1 Contender Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title</p><p>

<strong>Mankind</strong> vs. Owen Hart</p><p>

Damn, tough choice here, as Owen winning and challenging for the title would definately make for a hell of a four weeks for the guy..but Mankind could really use the win after losing the belt the night before.</p>

<p>Thanks <strong>Tristram</strong>. I tried to put more effort into it than a normal PPV so i'm glad that went noticed. Thanks again for your picks.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Zeel</strong>, I agree that Jarrett could have done a lot more in the Federation. He could have reached the main event if you ask me. I always appreciate your input mate, thanks alot.</p><p> </p><p>

I've been planning many of my next moves recently, sorting all the feuds out, but hopefully I can get a show up today or tomorrow.</p>

I've managed to get him to B-'s across the board in USA with the win against Lynn. He was switching between C and C+ for a while which made me thinking that that was his limit on this game, but thankfully it wasn't. He hasn't really scored any high profile victories yet though so i'm happy with his development.</p>

<p>Excellent show at Wrestlemania - better than most real ones we see these days</p><p> </p><p>

WWF Light Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

<strong>Great Sasuke</strong> vs. Kid Kash</p><p>

while it would be interesting to see Kid Kash do something big, it seems too early to be beating Sasuke</p><p> </p><p>

Rhino vs. <strong>Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat</strong></p><p>

sure this could be another new guy beats a legend match, but this is Steamboat and Rhino is hardly Chris Jericho. Dragon gets a win, but something will happen in the match to spark a big feud or storyline that will elevate Rhino more than even winning would.</p><p> </p><p>

Edge and Christian vs. <strong>The Darkside</strong></p><p>

it seems most superstar teams would lose their debut match, then springboard to great things. So I'm going against the grain on this one</p><p> </p><p>

No.1 Contender Match for the WWF I/C Title</p><p>

Bradshaw vs. ‘Dr Death’ Steve Williams vs. <strong>Jeff Jarrett</strong></p><p>

Jeff has some momentum and would be a solid champion</p><p> </p><p>

Farooq vs. <strong>Jerry Lynn</strong></p><p>

agreed....Lynn gets a rematch against Jeff once he wins the IC title.</p><p> </p><p>

No.1 Contender Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title</p><p>

Mankind vs. <strong>Owen Hart</strong></p><p>

Owen coming off the big win at Wrestlemania over his brother while Cactus lost his title match in the main event. Makes sense that Owen would continue the climb to the top. What an emotional moment if he captures the gold!</p>

<p>Definitely bookmarked. I generally don't read real world threads, but I use the user name "Totti" on art forums and I'm a huge Roma fan so I decided to jump in and let me just say, your Wrestlemania was great! A fw things I really liked:</p><p> </p><p>

1. The way you wrote out your videos. I might have to steal that for the future. It's a lot cooler than just saying "A video showing The Rock and Farooq plays" and I found myself picturing the video playing in my head.</p><p> </p><p>

2. The evolution of Rocky into The Rock was cool.</p><p> </p><p>

3. Hart vs. Hart was awesome.</p><p> </p><p>

4. RIC FLAIR! WHHHOOOOOO!!!</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, on to my pics:</p><p> </p><p>

Quick Picks</p><p> </p><p>

WWF Light Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

<strong>Great Sasuke</strong> vs. Kid Kash</p><p>

<em>PUSH KASH! I think he's so under rated. I love him. But it's not yet time.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Rhino vs. <strong>Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat</strong></p><p>

<em>W/ a beatdown by Rhino afterward. Steamboat wins after Rhino get's DQ'd after Goreing him through a table.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Edge and Christian</strong> vs. The Darkside</p><p>

C'mon... they're E&C! But please... give Christian the haircut early.</p><p> </p><p>

No.1 Contender Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title</p><p>

Bradshaw vs. ‘Dr Death’ Steve Williams vs. <strong>Jeff Jarrett</strong></p><p>

<em>Zeel said it best.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Farooq</strong> vs. Jerry Lynn</p><p>

<em>The Nation isn't completely dead yet. Farooq gets the win, leading to The Rock finally destroying The Nation of Domination.</em></p><p> </p><p>

No.1 Contender Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title</p><p>

Mankind vs. <strong>Owen Hart</strong></p><p>

<em>The promise of Hart vs. Michaels is too orgasm-inducing to let up. I predict a nice, open match, D-X comes to try and screw Owen, but he beats the odds and picks up the win, much to the chagrin of D-X.</em></p>

<p>I am very grateful for all the comments and picks after Mania. Blood was pouring into his eyes once again as his hair just stuck to his forehead. Bert applied even more pressure as a light came in the mind of Owen Hart. He grabbed Bret’s ankle and proceeded to pull him off balance. As Bret fell to the mat Owen reached down very down, crossing the legs of Bret he locked on a sharpshooter of his own. Clearly in pain as he put even more pressure on Owen just roared out hoping this would mask it. He knew he couldn’t let go no matter how much pain it was applying to his already damaged legs. Bret was writhing around in agony as he felt the pain he had made many people feel over the years. He attempted to roll over, but Owen wasn’t letting him. There was nowhere to go as Bret’s hand was getting dangerously close to hitting the mat. He made one final attempt to reach the ropes trying to crawl there army style, but Owen pulled him back into centre of the ring. Abruptly Bret’s hand began furiously tapping the mat as he willed for Owen to let go of the hold. Owen had done it on the grandest stage of them all. Rhino managed to gain the foothold though and looked to put Steamboat away. He crouched in the corner ushering The Dragon to get to his feet. Steamboat had the move well scouted though and stepped out of the way. He quickly leapt at the opportunity and rolled Rhino up into a small package to get the win and halt the momentum of Rhino.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Ricky Steamboat</p><p> <strong>Match Rating: </strong>D+</p><p> </p><p> After the match Rhino stood up in surprise and anger as Steamboat, exhausted, held his hand high on his knees. He turned around, but Rhino was ready and came charging like a 100m sprinter very nearly breaking Steamboat in half with a gore. He looked down at the fallen Steamboat menacingly before stepping on his chest in his path to the back.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ross:</strong> Rhino is just a monster. Both teams had a great chance here to cement their name in the division and both teams wanted to take it. The Darkside looked to distract the referee often as The Jackal would complain to him while Gangrel and Vampiro double teamed either Edge or Christian. As they effectively doubled teamed Christian in the corner Edge had had enough. He leaped onto the turnbuckle and executed a perfect missile dropkick to the legal man, Vampiro. Edge then ducked a Gangrel punch and clotheslined him out of the ring. He followed him out there keeping him away from the action as Christian ascended the turnbuckle. He flew off the ropes hitting a crossbody on Vampiro who fell back to the mat. He is slowly lowered onto the arms of his stable mates who steadily carry him to the ring as he holds his newly won title high above his head c**kily grinning.</p><p> </p><p> Michaels is lowered down onto the ring canvas and steps up from his seat ascending each turnbuckle with his World Title. An enormous sign falls over the titantron for all to see, it reads ‘Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, WWF World Heavyweight Champion!’ Confetti then falls from the roof of the arena covering the crowd, DX and Michaels. I see two fairly worthy challengers here and I don’t think we have a main event in place for tonight so I think it’s time for the ‘Limousine Ridin', Jet Flying, Kiss Stealin', Wheelin' Dealin', Son of a Gun’ to make his first match as \commissioner. Bradshaw came bombarding off the ropes and connected with a clothesline from hell on Williams. Jarrett quickly pulled Bradshaw off Williams and went for the cover himself. Bradshaw managed to get back to break the three count though and then hunted down Jarrett who crawled into the corner raising his hands for Bradshaw not to hurt him. Williams got to his feet as Bradshaw was about to lay a hand on Jarrett and hit him with a neckbreaker. </p><p> </p><p> Nobody was able to gain much of an advantage throughout the match and it stayed very open which was probably for the best as their was always something exciting for the crowd to get their teeth into. Williams and Bradshaw’s constant attempts to prove who the tougher was seemed the benefit Jarrett as they forgot about him for most parts of the match allowing him to conserve his energy for later. After another few minutes Jarrett decided to enter the fray and look to win the match after seeing too many close falls between Williams and Bradshaw. Williams was hurting and was resting up on the ropes until Jarrett came bouncing off the adjacent ropes and clotheslined him over the top rope. Bradshaw hit Jarrett in the head and then looked to finish it with his finishing move. Jarrett ducked the clothesline from hell sending Bradshaw spinning into a DDT. Mankind was able to produce some powerful moves and then locked on the mandible claw, but it couldn’t put Owen away. Owen managed to lock on the sharpshooter aswell, but Mankind made it to the ropes. It was beginning to look like nobody would walk out of the here the no.1 contender as both men seemed so evenly matched. Owen decided he would try to risk it all my clambering up to the top rope and attempting a splash onto Mankind. Mankind was able to roll out of harms way leaving both men down. <p>Nice debut for Angle. Looking forward to seeing how Stone Cold has this situation under control. I just hope Shane doesn't do some stupid **** to mess with Austin's plans.</p><p> </p><p>

E&C are going to be "totally awesome", and I'm pulling hardcore for Owen.</p><p> </p><p>

I do have one complaint though. And it's making me very upset.... as one of the millions.... (and millions) and millions of The Rock's fans!</p>

<span>http://i34.tinypic.com/2ywh5ww.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

We have a huge main event in store for you this week involving all three men who are around the title picture at this present time. The Champion Shawn Michaels teams with Triple H and Jeff Jarrett to fight Mankind, Owen Hart and Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock. Jarrett will see this as an opportunity to get one over on the Intercontinental Champion, a championship that he will contend for at Unforgiven. With Mankind and Owen Hart both gunning for a title shot and after their exhaustive draw last week will the two be able to work together to score a vital victory over the Champion?</p><p> </p><p>

Vince McMahon and Ric Flair joined forces at Wrestlemania and last week on Raw announced their new ‘Corporation’ intent on restoring order in the WWF and bringing back the tradition that they feel is lost. Their new protégé, Kurt Angle, is in action this week against Bradshaw who will be looking to rebound after losing the triple threat match last week.</p><p> </p><p>

Many more exciting young stars are in action this week in both tag and singles matches so be sure to tune in this Monday Night for Raw is War!</p><p>

Yep, glad you decided that, it worked great.

The Nation (D’lo Brown and Kama Mustafa) vs. Edge and Christian

E&C don't lose until a PPV

Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat vs. Marc Mero w. Sable

Losing streak type story for Mero

Kurt Angle vs. Bradshaw

Get him over

The Rock vs. ‘Dr Death’ Steve Williams

Same as Angle/Bradshaw

The New Age Outlaws vs. Taka Michinoku and Super Loco

Give them a little legitimacy again.

Goldust vs. British Bulldog

I never really marked out for Goldust.

‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Jeff Jarrett vs. Mankind, Owen Hart and ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’ Ken Shamrock

Heels go over in a tainted win.

Fraid so. It was a non title match, but it still sounds very unrealistic to me. Still, i'm not complaining. We could do with the help.

As always, thanks a lot for the picks guys.

<p>The Nation (D’lo Brown and Kama Mustafa) vs. <strong>Edge and Christian</strong></p><p>

Seems a tad early for a win this big, but I suppose a minor upset would work to further end The Nation. By the way, I love how they dropped the "of Domination" part when they started failing miserably at everything they did. Seems like a bit of an in-joke..</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat</strong> vs. Marc Mero w. Sable</p><p>

Mero just got Shane Douglas'd, no way he's winning here.</p><p> </p><p>

Again, it's The Rock..why delay his push to megastar status?</p><p> </p><p>

The NAO get re-built a little after their tag title loss.</p><p> </p><p>

Goldust vs. <strong>British Bulldog</strong></p><p>

I feel like the midcard members of the Hart Foundation haven't been booked as strongly as they should be. Bulldog wins here, to keep them relevant.</p><p> </p><p>

Ross: Hello folks and welcome to another thrilling edition of Raw is War! Hopefully tonight we’ll find out a little more on the title picture as both Owen Hart former Champion Mankind want a shot at current Champion Shawn Michaels. Both men think they deserve it, but thanks to interference from Michaels last week we are no closer to finding out a challenger.

Cornette: I wholeheartedly agree with Michaels’ comments last week. Neither of those disgracers deserves a shot at him.

Lawler: But Owen Hart managed to beat his legendary brother at Wrestlemania! Surely that has to have its rewards?

The music of Degeneration X is greeted by intense booing as WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Bret Hart and the New Age Outlaws all materialize from the back.

Michaels: You all saw it last week. Two overrated men going toe to toe in the ring, neither able to beat the other. I had to come out and do something about it. I saved you all from dying of boredom! How the hell do they think they can get this belt if they can’t even beat each other?! The simple answer is no! No, of course they can’t beat me. Think what you want guys, but this belt is staying with DX and neither of you two will be getting the first shot.

http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/2623/owenhartwa7.jpg

Suddenly the music of Owen Hart rings around the arena and he comes out slowly walking to the ring with a microphone. He gets into the ropes showing he isn’t intimidated by the numbers that DX possess. He takes one big look around the arena, an arena that is continuously chanting his name before starting to address DX.

Owen: Shut your mealy little mouth Shawn. You know full well it’d be me versus you at Unforgiven if you hadn’t gotten us both disqualified last week. I’m not in the mood for negotiations so either you can’t me that shot right here or I’ll come down there and beat all your asses to the mat.

DX all burst into laughter in the ring, but then Owen scowls and begins to move for them before the music of the former Champion strikes out around the arena.

http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/2192/mankind1998rs8.jpg

Mankind: Hold on right there Owen before you get yourself killed. There’s no way I’m being left out of this. I lost my title, I’ll admit that much, but what I won’t admit is that I don’t deserve my rematch. Go take a look at the contract. It clearly states that the loser of the title is entitled to a remat…

Michaels: You know full well I didn’t get my rematch when you beat me unfairly at Your House so giant fat sack of crap so don’t go giving me this BS. You can go through the same pain as I went through and ear your rematch.

Mankind: Earn it? You call what you did at the Rumble earning it?

Michaels: End of the day Mankind it doesn’t matter how you earn it. All that matters is this shiny gold thing I have around my waist right here. Gorgeous!

Michaels diverts everyone’s attention to his belt which clearly infuriates Owen and Mankind who want that accolade aswell. Michael’s glee is cut short by this very familiar sound.

Wooooooooooooooo!

http://i46.tinypic.com/ru34o4.jpg

The new commissioner was out to try and resolve the situation.

Flair: Now I’ve heard enough guys. This is the wooooo! Corpotation’s show baby and it’s time you three sons of bi**hes got out of our ring. I don’t need anymore of this hassle so how about this, at Unforgiven it will The Champion Shawn Michaels defending against both Mankind and Owen Hart! Wooooooo! Can you feel that brothers?

Michaels looks devastated in the ring and starts flipping out wanting to get his hands on the Nature Boy who quietly struts back through the curtain.

The Nation seemed demoralised after their recent slump and struggled against the bright, lively young team of Edge and Christian. E and C got the win after a spear from Edge onto D’lo to further increase their momentum.

Winners: Edge and Christian

Match Rating: D-

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Backstage we see The Rock walking purposefully down the corridor until Marc Mero stops him.

Mero: Can I have a word Rock?

The Rock motions with his hand for Mero to go on.

Mero: Well as you know I haven’t been winning recently and I think it’s affecting my confidence.

The Rock: What in the blue hell has this got to do with The Rock?

Mero: Err… I’m getting to it. Well last week the situation turned drastic. When me and Sable were, you know, I couldn’t you know, perform.

The Rock: Whoa, whoa, Marc. The Rock likes you and all, but this isn’t a conversation that he wants to be having.

Mero: Please Rock. I’m begging here. I think Sable might leave me. I need some help. Tell me how to fix it?

The Rock looks completely shocked.

The Rock: You think this has happened to The Rock?

Mero: Well I…

The Rock: It doesn’t matter whether this has happened to The Rock. The only thing that matters is that the people’s package is always open for inspection, it’s never late. Not even on Sundays!

Mero: Just let me explain what happened and then maybe you could help.

The Rock: Ok The Rock’s a gentleman. Tell your little story to The Rock.

Mero: Well last week I was feeling down so Sable was trying to comfort me and cheer me up. We went in the other room and trying touching each other and stuff, but I didn’t feel anything.

The Rock bends back raising the eyebrow.

Mero: Then Sable’s hand went downstairs, but… Nothing. She started to stroke and still…

The Rock has his fingers in his ears.

The Rock: Na na na na na na na. This is just too weird. The Rock's got a match later and this, quite frankly, is too creepy.

The Rock walks away muttering to himself and shaking his head as Mero just stands there, embarrassed, a match with Ricky Steamboat immanent.

Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat vs. Marc Mero w. Sable

http://i45.tinypic.com/qzghdx.jpgvs. http://i25.tinypic.com/1zpmalw.jpg

The crowd were laughing at Mero and his recent problems from the start and Steamboat, after beating Rhino last week, was looking to capitalize on those problems. Mero was sloppy in the ring all match, endlessly making mistakes which Steamboat was only too happy to exploit. He picked up another impressive win after hitting his signature diving crossbody.

Winner: Ricky Steamboat

Match Rating: C-

As Steamboat celebrated another win in the ring a relentless Rhino stormed up through the crowd, slid into the ring and stalked Steamboat in the corner seemingly awaiting his to turn around. The momentum Steamboat turned he was broken in half by the on rushing Man Beast who connected with a devastating gore. He looked down at his fallen prey before making his way to the back leaving the veteran Steamboat clutching his mid section in the ring.

http://i27.tinypic.com/1zmkuhl.jpghttp://i31.tinypic.com/125pbox.jpg

The old Hart Foundation theme kicked in as British Bulldog and Jim Niedhart both stepped out from the back and made their way into the ring to a decent response from the sell out crowd.

Bulldog: We’re just out here for some retribution. There isn’t much need for to go into details, I’m sure you saw Owen beating the hell of out that son of a gun Bret Hart at Wrestlemania, but that still didn’t satisfy me and it didn’t satisfy Jim either.

Jim Niedhart shakes his head furiously as Bulldog continues.

Bulldog: You damn near broke my leg about a month ago and your actions left your former tag team partner hospitalised and his career in jeopardy just to help your boss get a win. Because that’s what you’ve resorted to Bret. No more World Championships now your taking orders from that co*ky little bast**d Shawn Michaels. So we want to lay down a challenge for you and Hunter to face me and Jim at Unforgiven and then and only then will we be able to get the retribution we need for what you did to all of us.

Break it Down!

http://i29.tinypic.com/vfk2gp.jpghttp://img204.imageshack.us/img204/7406/tripleh1998mt7.jpg

Bret Hart and Triple H step out from the back and wisely choosing to stay on the ramp to do their talking. Triple H begins to talk, but Bret interrupts him.

Bret: It’s alright man, I got this.

Triple H lowers down his mic.

Bret: Just one minute, you think you can beat a man who was been WWF Champion this year and a man who won the King of the Ring competition. Jim, no offence, but look at you. Your overweight, slow, basically a shadow of your former self…

Niedhart: Don’t you dare insult my wrestling ability boy! I tagged with you for years and I have no idea who you are anymore. You think I’d be that easy huh? Meet me in the ring next week and we’ll see who’s past it.

Bret: You’re on old man. I can find some time to kick your ass next week and as for your little match at Unforgiven, consider that accepted aswell. Looks like we’ve got an easy couple of weeks Hunter.

Triple H: It certainly does Bret. You two need to crawl out from the past. Bret is one of us now, he’s part of DX and nobody cares what you guys think about it. Owen got lucky at Mania, but Unforgiven you won’t be so lucky. You got beef with Bret then you got beef with me. I’ll make sure neither of you are walking come the end of Unforgiven and if your not down with that we got two words for ya!

HHH and Bret: SUCK IT!

Kurt Angle vs. Bradshaw

http://i47.tinypic.com/34rxij5.jpgvs.http://i32.tinypic.com/20hlbte.jpg

The newcomer and Olympic Gold Medallist, Kurt Angle, was intense from the off hitting a series of suplexes on a surprised Bradshaw who couldn’t believe the machine he was up against. Bradshaw managed to fight back a little bit as the match wore on, but Angle was able to put him away after locking on the ankle lock.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Match Rating: D+

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

We go backstage to the locker room in which Mankind is situated for the night. Owen Hart strolls through the open door and Mankind readies himself for action.

Owen: No, no, no Mankind that’s not why I’m here. We gotta talk about this match later on.

Mankind: Don’t you dare try and pull something tonight Owen.

Owen: Whoa man I wasn’t gonna do anything like that. I just think we need to be on the same page tonight. We know Michaels will be up to his old tricks and we can come out of this night looking stronger.

Mankind: I see where you’re coming from Owen, but can I really trust you? I mean we both want this title and to be honest I don’t care what gets in my way to get it.

Owen: Just think of it this way Mankind. If we can take out Michaels tonight he won’t be so full of confidence. Let’s prove to him that we can work together because the first moment he gets he’ll try to make us take each other out leaving the path open for him. I know we have one thing in common. Neither of us want to see Michaels walk out with the gold when the night is over.

Mankind nods at Owen in agreement as the camera fades back to the ring.

No Chance!

Vince McMahon hits the ring accompanied by the Tag Team Champions.

Vince: So Austin has this situation under control does he? Not the way I look at things. I have all the power in this company so that good for nothing Sgt. Slaughter has been relieved of his duties and all Austin has for company is somebody called Shane. Does anybody know his last name cos it sure ain’t McMahon? Although he does have a point Austin, you guys need help because I will always be one step ahead of you and there’s nothing you can do about it.

The sound of breaking glass is greeted with a thunderous ovation.

http://i34.tinypic.com/2pqnjhd.jpg

Austin walks quickly down to the ring and circles around the ring as Vince and the Tag Team Champions step out onto the apron for a moment.

Vince: What the hel…

Austin: If anybody wants to see Vince McMahon shut his pie hole gimme a hell yeah?

Hell Yeah!

Austin: Shut your damn face then Vinny boy.

Vince looks like he wants to explode, his face growing ever redder.

Austin: You’re damn right that good ole Stone Cold has this situation under control and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. I know something you don’t Vince and you better get running scared. We don’t need no help and I’ve told Shane he’s a fool for thinking we do. You have nothing on us and do I need to remind you that I’ve beaten everyone of your little pathetic attempts to get rid of me. I beat down the Nation’s ass, I beat down Sid’s ass and I’ll beat down these two bozo’s asses all day long.

Vader and Bigelow make a move, but Vince puts his arms out to stop them.

Austin: Yeah that’s right you oversize sons of bi**hes I’m talking to you. Face it Vince, you’ll never get rid of me for as long you liv…

http://i47.tinypic.com/34rxij5.jpg

From out of nowhere Kurt Angle begins clubbing Austin from behind. He connects with three German Suplexes before brutalising Austin further with an Olympic Slam. To further insult Austin he locks on the ankle lock as Vince begins to taunt Austin who is writhing around in pain. Vader and Bigelow then join the fun stomping away at Austin once Angle has relinquished his hold before the four celebrate in the ring.

Cornette: That is how you make an impact in this business. McMahon proving he has more than enough resources to take down Austin now.

Lawler: I have to agree there. Austin needs to find some help in all of this.

The Rock vs. ‘Dr Death’ Steve Williams

http://i49.tinypic.com/2eeh4pz.jpgvs.http://i29.tinypic.com/nquwyr.jpg

The Rock’s reception seems to be growing steadily better each week as he continues to electrify. Williams did prove a tough opponent for him though, but after a people’s elbow The Rock came out on top.

Winner: The Rock

Match Rating: C+

After the match The Rock’s requests of a microphone are granted.

The Rock: Get this piece of trash out of The Rock’s ring. No, no NO! Get this piece of trash out of the peoples ring. For too long The Rock has been in the shadow of that rudi poo group The Nation of Abomination and now it’s time for The Rock to step out of that shadow and become WWF Champion. Oh yeah, you all know it’s gonna happen. It’s set in stone. The Rock will become WWF Champion and he’ll electrify the millions… and millions of his fans like only The Rock can. If ya smell lalalow what The Rock… is.. cooking.

The New Age Outlaws vs. Taka Michinoku and Super Loco

http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/8372/billygunn19982gk3.jpghttp://img80.imageshack.us/img80/570/jessejames1998dc9.jpgvs.http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/4974/takamichinokucf2.jpghttp://i31.tinypic.com/2604gi0.jpg

It was evident from the off that the speed of the two lightweights were causing problems for the charismatic Outlaws, but they certainly held a more powerful advantage. The Outlaws managed to gain a foothold into the match focusing on Super Loco who they trapped in the corner. They played up to the crowd receiving some heat before Loco managed to tag in Taka who went crazy ducking under both men and hitting two inch perfect drop kicks. He then ascended the top rope looking for a crossbody on Roaddog who caught him mid air and showing tremendous strength lifted him up for a Powerbomb to get the win.

Winners: New Age Outlaws

Match Rating: D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The camera pans into the locker room of The Nation as Farooq is trying to console a disheartened Kama Mustafa and D’lo Brown.

Farooq: Come on guys! We’re not done yet. So what if Rocky isn’t a part of The Nation anymore? That just leaves the path open for your two to takeover from him and become a bigger part. I know we’ve been having our problems recently, but next week is going to be different. Next week I’ll get things back on track with a win and you guys will do the same. Next week The Nation will return to its former glory. It’s time for domination!

Kama and D’lo just don’t look interested in Farooq’s attempts to motivate them and continue looking down at the ground.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Goldust vs. British Bulldog

http://i35.tinypic.com/5vi21.jpgvs.http://i27.tinypic.com/1zmkuhl.jpg

After declaring a challenge to Triple H and Bret Hart earlier in the night, Bulldog must have felt like he had something to prove here and looked focused and determined on getting this victory. Goldust, however, made things difficult for him and looked impressive in the early going. Bulldog managed to fight through this and get the win though after a running powerslam.

Winner: British Bulldog

Match Rating: C

http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/189/kanemask1998vn6.jpghttp://img529.imageshack.us/img529/899/paulbearerui8.jpg

Paul Bearer comes down to the ring accompanied by his intimidating client, Kane.

Bearer: Undertaker, I didn’t want to do this, but you left me no choice. You should have just accepted our challenge without any fuss. Forgive me for what I’m about to do.

Bearer directs our attention to the titantron as it fades out to an old dark house situated next to a spooky graveyard. Suddenly a huge lightning bolt flashed out of the sky and struck the house causing it to burst into flames as everybody in the arena looked on in horror. Bearer laughed to himself as Kane just watched the monitor as though nothing was happening.

Bearer: I didn’t want to do it Undertaker, but you made me, you made me do this. I know you can’t refuse my challenge anymore Undertaker so we’ll see you at Unforgiven for a night of… Hell!

Ross: Good god almighty!

Lawler: I can't believe my eyes!! Did they just set The Undertakers house on fire?

‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Jeff Jarrett vs. Mankind, Owen Hart and ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’ Ken Shamrock

http://i47.tinypic.com/2m6kef8.jpghttp://img204.imageshack.us/img204/7406/tripleh1998mt7.jpghttp://i31.tinypic.com/34e6g0k.jpgvs.http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/2192/mankind1998rs8.jpghttp://img162.imageshack.us/img162/2623/owenhartwa7.jpghttp://img55.imageshack.us/img55/8081/kenshamrockxt7.jpg

A huge main event in terms of star power as the future of the company battled it out in tag action. Mankind and Owen Hart proved they could work well together albeit reluctantly, but they wanted to take down the Champion tonight. Michaels knew that if he got caught out by both men it could be a very bad night for him so Triple H volunteered to take most of the tags as Jarrett argued with the Champion who wanted him to get more involved. After a good open match Triple H managed to hit a spinebuster on Shamrock, but Owen and Mankind were in to break the cover causing a big three on three brawl to escalate. Owen and Mankind took Jarrett and Michaels onto the outside and began trading clubbing blows as Triple H moved to finish Shamrock off in the ring. Shamrock raced into life and grabbed the ankle of Triple H immediately locking on the ankle lock to which Triple H tapped.

Winners: Mankind, Owen Hart and Ken Shamrock

Match Rating: B+

With the match won Mankind and Owen Hart slid back in the celebrate with Ken Shamrock as their opponents backed off up the ramp. Owen and Mankind acknowledged each other in the ring knowing they had got one over on the Champion, but as Owen turned his back Mankind tapped him on the shoulder before nailing him with a DDT to effectively end the relationship between the two. Shamrock shook his head at Mankind and pushed him away telling him he was out of order, but Mankind simply laughed and motioned around his waist indicating that the title was the most important thing for him.

Good show. I liked The Undertaker setting fire to the house and I like Austin having the odds stacked up against him (even though I would have liked to see him win the title at 'Mania like real life to really give the WWF that mainstream shot in the arm, but that's just a personal opinion). I'm also liking Bret's new attitude as part of DX and I can actually imagine it given how different it is from what we come to expect from him, and as long as this Mero losing streak is going somewhere you can consider me intruged.

All in all, a good show mate.

Love this diary. Keep up the good work. :D

Thanks a lot mate. Great to have you onboard.

I'm glad you liked the show buddy. I love hearing feedback from the cream of the crop such as yourself. I wanted to take it into a different direction than the real life Federation which obviously started in a big way with Bret staying so I decided to hold off on Austin's title reign and get him into a program with Vince earlier. I certainly agree with your reasoning though as it was a huge moment in their history, it was a tough decision to make.
