ACCBiggz
Did they just replay it for some random reason or what was the context for us non-watchers.
Astil
Did they just replay it for some random reason or what was the context for us non-watchers. Triple H says the WCW DVD doesn't have the greatest moment from WCW history. Then they redo the scene with Santino under the helmet. Very, very shortened version
ACCBiggz
Well that's just anti-climatic that they didn't show the real thing. I'm now disappointed.

ACCBiggz
why did it take 4 posts to explain this? Because not everyone watched Raw. Which is why I asked for the context. Hence the explanation.

Hyde Hill
I know DX gets a lot of flack in the ICW for the umpteenth reunion but they do have some good skits now and then. Not that WWE hasn't had it's slew of bad gimmicks hehe and hell the shockmaster was a WWF wrestler for quite some time in another role.
BHK1978
I did not realize that Harlem Heat and Sid were in the Shockmaster segment. Man it has been a long time since I saw that. And maybe it is because I hate DX, but to me their segment sucked. Vince, it must be nice to have won the war because there is nobody to poke fun at the dumb stuff that you did. Everybody always craps all over WCW but how many stupid gimmicks did Vince come up with? In fact there was a time when I did not watch the WWF at all because I felt that it insulted my intelligence (or lack there of). You must all realize that I was/am a WCW mark even though I grew up watching WWF.

Undertaker666
Way to go WWE. Taker666 would be proud. I'm never going to live that down am I... Vince, it must be nice to have won the war because there is nobody to poke fun at the dumb stuff that you did. Everybody always craps all over WCW but how many stupid gimmicks did Vince come up with? It was more of a dig at Dusty Rhodes rather than WCW, because The Shockmaster was his idea if I recall correctly. It's not like WWE doesn't acknowledge the mistakes it's made though. There was a WWE 24/7 Legends of Wrestling episode featuring the worst characters in wrestling, plus there's a page on WWE.com showing the 25 most annoying gimmicks. Hive
The best part was Arn Anderson doing the voice, like he did originally. That made me laugh. Though poking fun of WCW like that in the same show that features Hornswoggle winning a wrestling match is sort of ironic...

Hornswoggle is purely for the kids. They HAVE to send them home happy too you know lol

He may not seem willing to admit the mistakes of the WWE all that much, but he's more than willing to be losing end of tons of matches, gags, and situations (his feuds against the Rock, Austin, and DX). Self
I think that's mostly true, except with Vince himself. He may not seem willing to admit the mistakes of the WWE all that much, but he's more than willing to be losing end of tons of matches, gags, and situations (his feuds against the Rock, Austin, and DX). Well that's acting. Vince is more than happy to play the fool on TV. He's got no problem with his character looking weak or stupid or getting Stunner'd to high-heaven, because those aren't mistakes on his part. It's acting. In fact, it was great TV, which makes Vince the actual factual Businessman look great. Real mistakes. Creative mis-fires. The Gobbledy Gookers. Those are the things Vince is ashamed of, and will happily whitewash over with his revised history.
Bigpapa42
Liked the segment and I've actually found D-X fairly amusing thus far. I feel dirty to admit that, but its true. They have really good comic timing. The comic aspect of D-X just seems to contradict the serious nature of his feud with Legacy and Orton, however. The Shape
The whole idea of DX is stupid when it's being done by two forty plus year olds one of whom is married into the company and the other is a born again Christian. I occassionally begrudgingly let out a smile mainly because they come close to openly acknowledging how silly the idea is now.
