bigdogg1991
I've just finished my main event storyline with my own promotion where Carlito Colon went over Shelton Benjamin for my world title. As of right now I have no ideas of what to do with my main event/upper midcard scene. At the moment my main eventers are: Carlito Johnny Superstar (Morrison) Kensuke Sasaki Lance Cade Shelton Benjamin Upper Midcard: Bryan Danielson Chavo Guerrero Jerry Lynn Jushin Lyger I have a feud going with Lynn and Danielson and they are getting good match ratings. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
LucianCarter
Are Chavo and Carlito both of the same disposition? I'd form a stable with them and a promising midcarder and let challengers go through the minions before they get to Carlito.
SWF Fan
I'd have Carlito and Chavo actually feud with each other. Have Carlito begin to brag how Carlito is the world champion because of the family heritage he has in him that made him a born champion. You could then have Carlito go on to make claims that the Colon's are the greatest wrestling family of all time. Have Chavo turn as he fights for the honor of his family who he also believes to be the greatest wrestling family of all time. Pretty standard feud but it gives ideas like
FINisher
Read the wonderful diaries we have here at the boards Not just Real World but Cornellverse, there's really a wide range of great, creative and succesful booking.
Bigpapa42
Agree with FIN - diaries are a great source of ideas. Don't mind making suggestions, but a bit more info would helpful. Who's face and who's heel? What alliances do you have? Who are you looking at possibly turning, etc.
bigdogg1991
At the moment my main eventers are: Carlito - Heel Johnny Superstar (Morrison) - Heel Kensuke Sasaki - Face Lance Cade - Heel Shelton Benjamin - Face Upper Midcard: Bryan Danielson - Heel Chavo Guerrero - Heel Jerry Lynn - Face Jushin Lyger Face I have a heel stable of Nick Dinsmore, Kevin Thorn with Raven as a mouthpiece/occasional wrestler. They have the "evil/dark" type of stable (Dinsmore is doing an Undertaker type gimmick) I have Alex Shelley in the midcard and i want to start him on a monster push. Was also thinking of a possible Shelton/Chavo feud?
Bigpapa42
Some quick options... -align (indirectly) Superstar with Shelley and someone like Chavo with Carlito. Something like Shelley ask for a title shot and gets beat down by Carlito and Chavo for "overstepping his level". Superstar comes to his rescue, turning face. Launches a Superstar-Carlito feud over the title, with the associates of Shelley and Chavo (or whoever) getting the rub and adding tag matches. Throw in a little tension between Superstar and Shelley to make it interesting and lead to their eventual feud. There are a few options of where to go with it, including have either Superstar or Shelley take the belt from Carlito and then feud with each other, or end up feuding before either can get there. -could go with a straight Carlito-Shelley feud, building Shelley up by having go over a series of opponents that Carlito demands he beat to get a shot at the belt. -have Sasaki go after the belt in a "pride of Japan" feud after Carlito manages to insult Japanese wrestling in some manner. Sasaki can team with Liger at times. -if nothing really appeals, have Carlito do "open challenges" and bring in outside workers with some overness for him to beat. Like Danielson did for ROH. Was also thinking of a possible Shelton/Chavo feud? Shelton needs to recover. Maybe insert him into the Lynn Danielson fued to extend it while also giving Benjamin something to do. It'd give the Carlito/Chavo tandem a run against Kenzo and Lyger. Make it a "clash of styles" type thing.

I am looking for some new midcard talent, so any suggestions for the 3rd? (Keeping in mind I'm not big enough to get big names ot steal talent from TNA/WWE)

bigdogg1991
Only if he wants a guy running around backstage high and naked, waving his naughty bits at people. haha oh the backstage segments I could have.. Seriously though.. Carlito, Chavo and Juventud? Not really the best addition, although I do think Juventud is a good addition to the roster
Hulkamaniac85
If it was me, what i might do is have Carlito, Lance Cade, and either Chavo or Shelley in a powerful 3 man stable, with Carlito and Cade getting a bunch of wins, and the third guy getting a bunch of wins by way of Carlito & Cade interfering in his matches. After a while he gets sick of not getting the chance to prove he can beat guys without his friends' help, and when called out on it, Carlito says that he is just looking out for him (but with a hint of an attitude that the guy can't take care of himself) Then have carlito either cost him one last big fight, leading to a feud between them, or something along those lines? Vladamire Dracos
Only if he wants a guy running around backstage high and naked, waving his naughty bits at people. He already has Raven, what's one more naked man, more or less? Carlito/Chavo/Juvi, I actually like that, sort of a "South of the Border" bad boy type group. Perhaps Hernandez instead? He could function as the muscle of the group while still fitting the role. Or Homicide.
