FCW: Greetings from the Commonwealth (C-Verse)

(OOC: Any FCW diary owes an intellectual debt to Tigerkenney's magnum opus Puerto Rican Self-Preservation Society. If somehow you haven't yet, check it out.)

FROM PWHITS.COM - Shocking news out of Puerto Rican upstart promotion FREEDOM Caribbean Wrestling, as Shawn Gonzalez has ousted himself as head booker of FCW. Gonzalez, who came to prominence as one of the major reasons for DAVE's rise, booked the debut show in September, La Celebracion de Lucha Libre, and the three shows at the close of 2007 but quickly seemed to lose interest and passion for his job.

It has been made known to PWHITS.COM that Gonzalez recently notified FCW owner Victor Perez, who wrestles as FCW's figurehead Puerto Rican Power, that he was quitting as head booker of FCW effective January 1, 2008. Perez was understandably shocked but started the search for a new booker. He wanted someone whose vision would not clash with his own and someone who would continue what Shawn Gonzalez had set up.

Perez has apparently settled on fairly well-known East Coast indy worker Jimmy Moyer. Moyer has primarily wrestled under a mask as Dr. Magnus, and that will probably be the persona he wrestles under in FCW. Moyer has pledged to both the Puerto Rican media, which takes their wrestling very seriously, and Perez himself that he is dedicated to continuing FCW's climb to greatness.

At his introductory press conference, Moyer also announced the FCW's first show of 2008 would be entitled No Nos Rendiremos (We Will Not Surrender), and would take place on Friday, January Week 2, at San Juan High School. He did not announce all of the card, but did mention that the main event would be FCW Puerto Rican Champion Puerto Rican Power defending his title against the nightmarish Leper Messiah.

I could see this going the other way- Salvaje and Dragon are your best lucha's, and probably better than Galindo- but Velasquez has to be carefully used as he's probably your best young talent. Better to keep it on the Kings for now and build teams up to their level

"Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. Dr. Magnus

Hocking's greener than grass- Magnus takes the win here whilst training him up

FCW People's Championship Match: "Hands of Stone" Brad Peverell vs. Handsome Stranger ©

I just can't get behind Stranger, whilst Brad's only problem is his psychology

Hell's Bouncer vs. Mainstream Hernandez

Hernandez is a good high flier, but unless you turn Shawn then the Bouncer is the only even half-decent foe for PRP

SEMI-MAIN EVENT: Ox Mastodon vs. "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez

Because duh

Keep on Rudy. He's young and talented.

"Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. Dr. Magnus

You are more known as Hocking is green. But Hocking has a great upside either way.

FCW People's Championship Match: "Hands of Stone" Brad Peverell vs. Handsome Stranger ©

Peverall's character reminds me of Ron Garvin with the whole Hands of Stone thing. Never could get behind HS.

Hell's Bouncer vs. Mainstream Hernandez

The Mainstreamer ain't quite there yet as far as being that main eventer.

SEMI-MAIN EVENT: Ox Mastodon vs. "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez

Wouldn't really call this a semi-main event but then again none of my promotions are good enough for me to put a diary up here on the forums so. . .Anyhoo, the Lone Wolf gets the duke.

MAIN EVENT - FCW Puerto Rican Championship Match: Leper Messiah vs. Puerto Rican Power ©

Saying that this is the easiest pick of the card in an understatement. PRP has the *groans* power to keep the main event interesting.

Glad to see another FCW diary out. TK's got it on lock but please don't let that affect you too much. KUTGW and I got my front row ticket and plastic bowl of beans and rice for the Gonzalez/Mastodon bout :p!

Well you can learn from my mistakes :p The thing that could well make our diaries different is what owner goals PRP gives you. The toughness goal at the beginning was a real bug bear for me and resulted in me having to let go some of the luchadors and Handsome Stranger at the beginning.

FCW Tag Team Title Match: Tigre Salvaje Jr. & Dragon del Arco Iris Jr. vs. The Latino Kings ©

You may as well keep the belt on the Kings at the start. The two lucha's are all sizzle and no steak, lots of flash buy no psychology to speak of what so ever

"Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. Dr. Magnus

Well I wouldn't be so harsh as to calling Matt Hocking Shocking but he is very green. Seems like you're using the old school masked user character.

FCW People's Championship Match: "Hands of Stone" Brad Peverell vs. Handsome Stranger ©

Peverall will have more of a long term future but at FCW's beginning's I would keep this belt on Stranger.

Hell's Bouncer vs. Mainstream Hernandez

Hernandez is a better worker but Hells Bouncer is the best 'monster' heel out of many at the start for FCW and is an instant credible threat for the title.

SEMI-MAIN EVENT: Ox Mastodon vs. "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez

To call OX pretty poor would be an understatement, can't see past a Gonzalez win here.

MAIN EVENT - FCW Puerto Rican Championship Match: Leper Messiah vs. Puerto Rican Power ©

Power's creative control means that he's not willing to job to about 99.5 % of the roster and besides Leper isn't really good enough to carry the main belt. The character is entertaining enough but when it comes to getting in the ring the man doing the wrestling is still Tully Arthurs.

OOC: As I said earlier, the first show will be up in a few hours, but this is not the reason for this post. Tigerkenney mentioned the owner goals, and I had neglected to state them. So here we go...

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO (Sunday, Week 1, January 2008) - As I stepped into Perez's office at the Gymnasium Aguada, I was taken aback by all of the memorabilia strewn around the office. There were pictures everywhere of his victories over Rip Chord, Sam Strong, and Dread. One other picture, however, drew my interest. It was on Perez's desk and was from the press conference that created FCW. Perez was shaking hands with Shawn Gonzalez in front of a big blow-up picture of the FCW logo. I suddenly felt the enormity of this situation crashing down around me, but was jarred back to reality by Victor Perez, Puerto Rican Power himself, stepping inside.

He was dressed in a FCW polo shirt and khakis, but he still looked every bit as menacing and powerful as he does in the ring. I stood up to shake his hand, which Perez graciously returned. He then asked me to sit down and opened up a folder. He took two sheets of paper out and handed me one of them. There was a list on the paper, which was on some snazzy looking FCW official letterhead. The list read as follows, with Perez's comments...

1. FCW must not fall below $60,000 at any point.

"Shawn and I didn't start this promotion for it to go under in less than a year because of being loose with the purse strings. If you're going to hire someone, clear it with me first so we can see how it will affect the bottom line. You are the idea man, that's what I'm paying you for. I'm the big picture man, that's what I pay myself for."

2. FCW may not fall below Small size at any point.

"I'm in this for the long haul, Jimmy. I want FCW to always be looking forward and to not step back at any time. Under no circumstances will we lose what we've gained so far."

3. Shawn Gonzalez must have reached at least B momentum when the time expires.

"Shawn has given his blood, sweat, and tears for this business and he doesn't deserve to be shuffled off to some mid-card program and forgotten about by the fans. We need to keep him hot."

4. You can't hire any wrestler who is classified as a Spot Monkey.

"Puerto Rican fans want gritty, hardnosed, entertaining action. They don't want to see some poorly trained hack do meaningless gymnastics in the ring. We value our luchadors greatly, and I don't want them cheapened by too many flips and flops."

5. You cannot hire or extend the contract of anyone who is known to have problems with the law.

"I know this may seem like I'm being hypocritical here, but Hector, Rudy, and especially Carlos know that I'm not happy with what they've done in the past and that they were all brought in as special favors to Shawn. With Shawn not in power anymore, they had better know that you, and I, will have our eyes on them. If they step out of line, I expect you to act accordingly."

With that, Perez got up, took a suit coat from a nearby coat hook, threw it on over his polo shirt, and politely excused himself to go and try to get us some new sponsors. I was left alone in his office to ponder what do not next and how this would affect No Nos Rendiremos and the future of FCW. I sense a long, sleepless night ahead of me...

FCW No Nos Rendiremos (We Will Not Surrender)

Friday, Week 2, January 2008

San Juan High School, Puerto Rico

Attendance: 276

To say I was nervous was a massive understatement. As Rico Santana, our resident road agent, and I gave Kashmir and Joe their final instructions for the dark match, I was again hit by that picture I saw on Puerto Rican Power's desk, the one of him and Shawn at the opening of FCW. He had entrusted me with his baby and I had better not screw it up.

After that chilling thought rolled through my head, there was nothing left to do but slip on my mask and get ready for the show...

FCW Tag Team Titles: Tigre Salvaje Jr. & Dragon del Arco Iris Jr. vs. The Latino Kings ©

We kicked off the show with some hot tag team action, as the young luchador team of Tigre Salvaje Jr. & Dragon del Arco Iris Jr. tried to take the Tag Team Titles from the gritty, tough Latino Kings team of Hector Galindo & Rudy Velasquez. Early on, our play-by-play man Dane O'Hara informed everyone that Tigre & Dragon are calling themselves Los Hijos de Trueno (The Sons of Thunder), which caused our color man Cueball Lynch to quip that the only thunder they would be hearing is their shoulders hitting the mat for the 1-2-3.

Los Hijos did show some great teamwork, which included a tandem dropsault and a combination top-rope hurricanrana by Dragon and a Tigre Roll (slingshot senton) by Tigre that they call the Thunderclap. This was not enough to get by the cheating ways of the Latino Kings, as the finish came around the 10 minute mark, as Tigre Salvaje Jr. had Rudy Velasquez up for a powerbomb, but Hector Galindo ran into the ring and gave Tigre a chop block. Tigre crumpled to the ground as Rudy fell to his feet and delivered a quick Street Cutter (Diamond Cutter) for the win to retain the Tag Titles for the Latino Kings.

RESULT: The Latino Kings defeated Los Hijos de Trueno in 10:51 when Rudy Velasquez defeated Tigre Salvaje Jr by pinfall with a Street Cutter. The Latino Kings make defence number 1 of their FCW Tag Team titles.

"Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. Dr. Magnus

My first match in FCW started with a spot that I went through with Matt before the show started. He offered his hand to me as a gesture of sportsmanship. I shook his hand, but held on and spun it around into a tight hammerlock. As Matt tried to maneuver his way out, I swept out his legs and drove him into the ground with his shoulder taking the brunt. I worked on his arm the whole match, and he fought against me valiantly.

He almost scored a three count at the 10 minute mark when he hit his Hock Shock finisher (a sit-out facebuster). I barely got my shoulder up, and this near loss woke me up big time. I put on a four minute barrage of impact moves and submissions meant to further soften up Matt's shoulder. To end it, I dragged Matt to his feet, made a quick throat cutting gesture, then hit Matt with a Single Arm DDT for the win. To add insult to injury, I flipped Matt over, hammerlocked his arm, then flipped him back over for the three count.

RESULT: Dr. Magnus defeated Matt Hocking in 14:23 by pinfall with a Single Arm DDT.

We cut backstage to a shot of some ladies' legs walking down a hallway. As we pan up, we get an even better view of a black ****tail dress wearing tanned woman who appears to be very, very tall. She has a towel draped over her arm and is carrying a silver platter. She stops and enters the locker room. Sitting down is FCW People's Champion Handsome Stranger. Stranger looks up and sneers.

"Ah, Monique, you have finally showed up. Did you get what I asked?"

Monique picks up the People's Championship belt, which was sitting next to Stranger. She starts wiping the belt with the towel she had draped over her arm.

"Yes, I have. Here is the towel you requested to clean off the belt with, and here is the platter that you wanted it carried on."

Stranger nods his approval, then speaks again.

"Muchas gracias, Monique. It pains me that I have to walk around with this, this People's Title. It clashes with the rest of my outfit and I can't stand it! It pains me even more to have to defend it against a simpleton like Brad Peverell. He seems to like the waves, but it also seems that all of the sun has rotted whatever brains he had if he thinks he can beat me, the handsomest man alive! Monique, get my coat. It is time that we grace these unwashed masses with my presence."

Monique puts Stranger's robe on for him, picks up the People's Championship Belt, and puts it on the platter. Together they walk off the shot.

FCW People's Championship: "Hands of Stone" Brad Peverell vs. Handsome Stranger © w/ Monique

Brad Peverell made his entrance first, and as always, he was full of charisma. He slapped hands on the way down the aisle, then went through his pre-match routine of checking the tape on his left hand and then raising it as the crowd cheers. Those cheers quickly turned to boos as Monique came out first, with the People's Championship Belt on the silver platter. Handsome Stranger then followed behind, decked out in a silver sequined sleeveless robe that perfectly matched his silver sequined ring attire. He jawed with fans and avoided them touching him as he made his way down the aisle. As he entered the ring, he called Monique up to the ring apron. She took off his robe for him and handed him some hand sanitizer. He washed his hands, then reclined in the corner, waiting for the bell to ring.

The match itself was a story of Brad wailing away on Stranger with his trademark brawling style and Stranger seemingly unwilling to attack at all and constantly stalling. This went on long enough that the crowd got even more behind Brad, as they really seemed to want Stranger's blood. Stranger, however always seemed all too quick to lean outside the ropes and get referee Ryan Holland to hold Brad back. One of those times was almost the undoing of Stranger, as Peverell briefly squared up, then hit the Dream Left Hook. Stranger crumpled to the ground. Ryan Holland went down to make the count.

One ... two ... Ryan Holland stops! He is distracted by Monique, who is pointing to the ropes. Holland looks and sees that Stranger's foot fell on the ropes. As Holland goes over to kick Stranger's foot off of the ropes, Monique slides the silver platter to Stranger, who is just now coming to. Stranger slides the platter underneath him. As Peverell tries to pick up Stranger, Stranger brains him with the silver platter! Peverell staggers backwards and bounces off to the ropes. As Brad comes back, Stranger nails him with his Catalan Twist finisher (a swinging neckbreaker) for the three count. As Monique fastens the belt around Stranger's waist, Cueball Lynch quips that "Brad Peverell may have hands of stone, but he also seems to have brains of marshmallow!"

RESULT: Handsome Stranger defeated Brad Peverell in 16:47 by pinfall with a Catalan Twist after Monique interfered. Handsome Stranger makes defence number 1 of his FCW People's Championship title.

PART TWO OF NO NOS RENDIREMOS

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/gbasalmon/FCW%20Diary/HellsBouncer.jpg vs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/gbasalmon/FCW%20Diary/MainstreamHernandez.jpg

Hell's Bouncer vs. Mainstream Hernandez

Out first was the deathly pale and demonic Hell's Bouncer, who was decked on in a jet black sleeveless worksuit. On his way to the ring, Cueball Lynch stated that Bouncer "is so bad the the Devil himself won't let him in, but he lets him guard the door." Bouncer climbed into the ring and stood stoicly as Mainstream Hernandez bounced downed the aisle. Mainstream slid into the ring and got up on the turnbuckle to wave to the fans, but Hell's Bouncer reached up and grabbed him off the turnbuckle. He tried to hit him with the Damnation Drop (a swinging sidewalk slam), but Mainstream somehow transitioned the Drop into a flying headscissors, and the clash of styles in those two moves exemplified what took place for the rest of the match.

Mainstream kept trying to quicken the pace to tire Bouncer out, and Bouncer trying to keep up made the match seem a little disjointed. In the end, I figured into the decision...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/gbasalmon/FCW%20Diary/TheMaskedAvatar.jpg

As Mainstream went up top to go for his Apparition #14 (Shooting Star Legdrop), Hell's Bouncer went to knock him off the top. On his way, he knocked over Ryan Holland. As Holland laid on the ground, I ran down the aisle, slid into the ring, and blasted Mainstream with a pair of brass knuckles. I then picked up Mainstream and Irish whipped him towards Bouncer. Bouncer picked him up and absolutely drove him through the canvas with a Damnation Drop. I roused Ryan Holland, and the three count at that point was academic.

RESULT: Hell's Bouncer defeated Mainstream Hernandez in 12:47 by pinfall with a Damnation Drop following interference from Dr. Magnus.

After the pinfall, Bouncer and I weren't done. Bouncer dragged Mainstream up to his feet and I continued to work him over with the brass knuckles I had brought to the ring. After I was done, I threw Mainstream over to Bouncer, who again hit Mainstream with the Damnation Drop. As Mainstream laid near unconscious in the ring, I went over and offered my hand to Bouncer. He looked at me, ****ed his head to the side, and just simply exited the ring. Through my mask, I tried to convey a wry smile.

Ox Mastodon vs. "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez

Our next match was the semi-main event by virtue of the involvement of our biggest name outside of Puerto Rican Power himself, the "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez. The giant that Gonzalez had come to San Juan High School to slay was the monstrously large Ox Mastodon, whom Dane O'Hara reminded everyone was handpicked by worldwide legend Dread to be his one and only protege. To start the match, Ox started out with a barrage of offense that would look very familiar to anyone who had seen a Dread match. He battered Shawn with punches, forearms, and even a corner splash or two. It looked for a time that the "Lone Wolf" might end up on the losing end of the match.

At about the 8 minute mark, Shawn started to fight back with the tenacity of his namesake and scored a near fall with a flying body press. Ox was able to throw Shawn off at the two count, but the tide had officially turned. Shawn fought Ox with all of his might, showing the fighting spirit that has become his calling card since his earliest days in the XWF, which were reminded of by Dane O'Hara. The finish came when Ox momentarily took control and got Shawn in position for the Ten Ton Splash. As Ox bounded off of the ropes, Shawn rolled out of the way, took Ox down with a drop toe hold, and then applied his Latino Crab finisher, a tight single leg Boston Crab. Ox struggled mightily, but eventually succumbed to the Latino Crab, giving Gonzalez the win.

RESULT: Shawn Gonzalez defeated Ox Mastadon in 12:05 by submission with a Latino Crab.

Next up, Dane O'Hara is backstage for an interview with our Puerto Rican Champion, Puerto Rican Power. Power is sitting down when O'Hara comes in, but stands up and shakes Dane's hand. Power then throws the Puerto Rican Championship belt over his shoulder as Dane begins to speak.

"Power, what are your thoughts about your opponent tonight, Leper Messiah?"

Power stops for a moment, rubs his chin thoughtfully, then begins to speak.

"My thoughts are this, Dane. First, it is great to be here in Puerto Rico doing what I love in front of fans who have the same passion I have. Second, unlike some other champions here in FCW, I couldn't be happier to represent the people of Puerto Rico as their champion. I will protect FCW from anyone who dares to take it and mold it to their own purposes.

And that brings me to my third point, and my opponent tonight, Leper Messiah. Messiah, your name seems to suggest you want to save FCW. But save it from what? Sanity? Honor? Respect? Do you know what all of those things have in common? They are the three main things I am trying to bring back to professional wrestling. You stand for everything that I hate. Chaos. Mayhem. Suffering. And for that, Leper Messiah, you will feel my ... POWER!"

With that, Puerto Rican Power picks up his ring jacket, which is a sequined representation of the Puerto Rican flag, puts it on, and heads for the ring.

FCW Puerto Rican Championship: Leper Messiah vs. Puerto Rican Power ©

First out is challenger Leper Messiah, who is clad in a tattered leather jacket which is painted in his incoherent ramblings, black wrestling trunks with a yellow jagged smile on the back, along with of course his signature face paint. He staggers down the aisle, slithers under the bottom rope, and begins to pace back and forth as he waits for Power. After a short pause, Puerto Rican Power bursts through the curtain to as deafening a shower of cheers coming from nearly 300 people can be. He has on his sequined ring jacket, blue tights, red knee pads, and white boots covered in red, white, and blue tassels. As the bell rings and Puerto Rican Power hands his jacket to a ringside attendant, the maniacal Leper Messiah jumps him from behind.

Messiah does not even take his jacket off, and soon uses it as a weapon to whip Puerto Rican Power. He causes welts to appear on Power's back as Power screams in pain and the crowd roars in hate. Messiah soon tosses aside his jacket and begins ripping and tearing at Power's face. He continues his manic assault by using the ring ropes to choke Power, which prompts Cueball Lynch to quip this time that "I guess Messiah figured he couldn't outpower Power, so he decided to outpsycho him." Throughout this assault, Power seemed to be conserving himself, weathering the assaults of the demented Messiah and waiting for the opportunity to launch his own attack.

The opening came when Messiah went for a jumping body smash in the corner onto Power. Power moves out of the way just in time, which causes Messiah to hit his head on the turnbuckle post. As Messiah staggers backwards, Power unleashes a barrage of punches. He hits two quick jabs, then winds up, screams "VIVA PUERTO RICO!!!", and unleashes a wild right hook which sends Messiah to the canvas. As Messiah uses the ropes to pull himself up, Power steps backwards, pumps his fist, then comes roaring towards Messiah with a PUERTO RICAN POWER BLOCK (jumping shoulder block) that sends Messiah flying. Power seizes the opportunity to lock the ATOMIC FULL NELSON on a stunned and reeling Leper Messiah. Oddly, Messiah doesn't seem to give up much of a fight and meekly taps out.

RESULT: Puerto Rican Power defeated Leper Messiah in 16:41 by submission with an Atomic Full Nelson. Puerto Rican Power makes defense number 1 of his FCW Puerto Rican title.

As Puerto Rican Power celebrates in the ring with his title belt, Leper Messiah slithers out of the ring and grabs a microphone. He begins to speak to Power.

"Congratulations, Power, you have one this round. But, do not fret, for I am but one piece of the puzzle that when solved, will cause your ultimate destruction! Out of the light, will come a darkness that will envelop you - mind, body, ... and soul!"

As Power stares a hole through Messiah trying to comprehend his words, the arena lights go out. When they turn back on a man clad entirely in black stands behind Power.

OTA!

As the lights come back on, Power sees a devastatingly nasty grin appear on Messiah's face. Knowing something is surely up, Power turns around and Ota spits black mist into Power's face! Power drops to the mat and starts flailing around like someone has again turned the lights out. Messiah again slithers into the ring, picks up the writhing Power, and drops him to the mat with his Prophecy finisher (a claw hold choke slam)!

As Power lays motionless, Messiah lays right next to him, almost nose to nose. He then begins to speak to Power.

"I told you, but you didn't understand! The Darkness is Rising and is now slowly surrounding you! I have sought out this man who calls himself Ota. He believes, as I do, in the value of suffering, of pain, of torment. He wants to bring that belief to you and he will next month! I salivate as I think about your broken spirit begging him to end the suffering, and I am sooooo looking forward to seeing your rotting carcass match the condition of your rotting soul. Remember, Power, I told you!"

As the crowd is delirious with booing for Messiah and Ota, they both leave. Messiah slithers under the bottom rope, and Ota reaches over the top rope, does a momentary handstand, and lands on his feet. The show ends as Puerto Rican Power is attended to by ringside personnel.

So, there we are. The first show of 2008, No Nos Rendiremos is in the books, and what a doozy it was! We have a new wrinkle added to People's Champion Handsome Stranger's act with his personal hostess Monique, a possible alliance between the debuting Dr. Magnus and Hell's Bouncer, and a fearsome addition to Leper Messiah's ongoing crusade of destruction with Ota!

But more importantly, here are the results of the prediction contest.

FINisher: 4/6

Hyde Hill: 6/6

1PWfan: 5/6

critical-23: 5/6

Tigerkenney: 6/6

foolinc: 6/6

BHK1978: 4/6

Congratulations to Hyde Hill and Tigerkenney. Your autographed 8x10's of Victor Perez himself, Puerto Rican Power, are in the mail. I asked him to sign them right after the show, so their may be some of Ota's black mist on them. Can you say collector's item?

I liked the show (and I'm shocked that you got a D+ out of Ox- Shawn's even better than I thought). Bringing in Ota to work with Power was a good move: he's a solid worker that can help lift the main event ratings, and he immediately makes your FCW stand out from TK's.

FCW Announces Next Card

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO - In a press conference today, Tuesday, Week 3, January 2008, Victor Perez, FCW owner, announced the card for FCW's February event, which will be titled Poder Ilimitado (Unlimited Power). The show will be headlined by Puerto Rican Power defending the Puerto Rican Championship against Ota, who attacked him in a cowardly, dastardly display at last week's No Nos Rendiremos event.

The rest of the card played on a projector screen that was set up for the media and fans in attendance.

El Hijo del Zonk vs. "The Marksman" Kirk Jameson w/ Maryam Vega

Jameson's has alot more potential to rise to the top, hopefully unlike with me he'll stick around for you.

#1 Contender Match: The 937 Lb. Express vs. Natural Storm

Despite being considerably outweighted Natural Storm are your top face team at the start in FCW and I can't see past a win for them here.

"Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. The Sensational Singh w/ Carl Batch

Hocking's a greenhorn and Singh's a solid hand. One thing I do kind of regret in my vision of FCW is the fact that Singh never rose out of mid-card limbo. So would be nice to see him get a good push here.

Tigre Salvaje Jr. vs. Rudy Velasquez

Velasquez is the best of the Latino Kings and could eventually get a solid singles push.

Hector Galindo vs. "Hands of Stone" Brad Peverell

Galindo on the other hand isn't all that great.

Mainstream Hernandez vs. Dr. Magnus

Just to be different to Hyde Hill, plus you surely don't want your user character to be a Marty Sue ;):p

FCW Puerto Rican Championship: Ota vs. Puerto Rican Power ©

Can't see Power losing the belt at this stage, in fact my advice would be to ride Power as champion as long as you can.

Got to agree with Tigerkinney, Rudy is the star of that team. In fact I usually just ditch Hector all together and have Rudy be my version of Homicide and Jesus Chavez as my Hernandez. Is it original? No but it works for me.

I am not a fan of the avatar as a wrestler, and I hate when the avatar gets a push!:D

OOC: I just wanted everyone to know that this diary is NOT dead. School is starting back up again and I am a 5th through 8th grade Social Studies and 5th and 6th grade Religion teacher here in Western New York, so the next few days will be a bit chaotic. I hope to have Poder Ilimitado up either Friday or Saturday. So get your predictions in!

OOC Update: This diary isn't quite dead yet, but I should have known better than to start a diary just before school was starting. Teaching five different classes and being an athletic director is taking up more of my time than I thought it would. I will try to get this diary up and running again, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.
