LucianCarter
- The full details on this story haven't emerged yet, but two of WWE's biggest superstars, The Great Khali and Big Show, reportedly had an altercation backstage at a SmackDown/ECW live event on Saturday. The main event on the show featured Matt Hardy, The Undertaker and Khali vs. Big Show, Chris Jericho and CM Punk. When the match ended, Show and Khali brawled outside of the ring together. When they got backstage, there was apparently an argument. One story said Khali botched the finish and Show called him out on it and they started grappling around. One source said, "Show slipped on someone's bag and it was over." Another report said that after they ended up on the ground, Khali mounted Show and was hitting him with slaps before The Undertaker pulled them apart. Show and Khali were kept away from each other in the ring for the rest of the tour. (Source - F4W Newsletter) - In an update to my earlier post, the weekend scuffle between The Big Show and The Great Khali was the talk of the RAW locker room last night. The Big Show feels certain moves should be exclusive to him given his "giant" tag and there has reportedly been underlying heat between the pair for some time. As for the incident, Show threw the first punch which was blocked by Khali, then the two went at it until several wrestlers broke it up. As I said earlier, the pair were kept apart for the remainder of the tour. According to several wrestlers, they believe the blame lies on The Big Show's shoulders for this incident. darthsiddus2
Show's not the only "Giant" and to say that some moves can only be his is extremely stupid
FINisher
I love reading about these backstage conflicts! It's clear that Big Show has doubts about his status and fears for his position in the company or something like that. I'm guessing that he's beginning to feel unconfident about himself and truth to be told he's been drifting around for long time but so does Khali.. Who does have a much bigger fanbase in the end. Khali is for wrestling business what Big Show was in the (late) 90's.
TrekkieMonsta
As much as I love the guy, how would Undertaker manage to pull those two apart?
Hyde Hill
Lightning bolts? No seriously he is the locker room law after all plus he surely didn't do it allone. As for stealing moves that are Giant exlusive? Sorry but both men are very big and apart from the chokeslam which every 7 footer uses they have thier own "moveset" however limited. It's not like Khali stole someone's finisher without asking or something.
Tha Black Phenom
If Taker splits you apart, you best comply to it, stat. Big Show obviously must've felt complacent in the business for a while now.. was surprised he landed the main-event of WrestleMania 25, tbh. Guess it was his periodic due or something. The Two
As much as I love the guy, how would Undertaker manage to pull those two apart? Like TBP said, if Taker tells you to do something, you do it. It's a mixture of fear and respect, Taker is King in that locker room. Just remember that he's the guy who ordered Shawn to "do the job" at Mania 14, and who instructed Vince to go see Bret after Montreal.
alden
I to be honest don't think taker even had to do much more then yell at the two men and maybe put his hand on one of the guys shoulders......taker is the definition of locker room leader. Self
I have no interest in seeing them wrestle, but I would pay to see Big Show legit fight The Great Khali. Get them in the Octagon!

FINisher
source: PWInsider.com New details have come out regarding the backstage altercation that took place between the two largest superstars in WWE over the weekend. The incident took place on Saturday night at the SmackDown/ECW live event in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The Big Show has had beef with Khali for several weeks because Khali uses some moves in the ring that Big Show thinks should be exclusive to him as a "giant." According to sources who were backstage at the event, the two men were arguing for several minutes before Big Show escalated the situation and threw a punch. Khali blocked the punch "exactly like he does in the ring" and the two giants went at it. That’s when Show slipped on someone's bag and went down. Khali jumped then jumped on top of Big Show and was in clear control before the fight was broken up. The general feeling backstage was that the Big Show was the instigator and at fault for the situation. There's no word yet on whether any disciplinary action will be taken. Hmm. Thriller
Big Show slipping on someone's bag is an amusing image. Actually, so is the whole fight.
The Shape
I love khali blocking exactly like he does in the ring. Just no selling it, Big Show looks around is like wtf, he tries again but it doesn't work...then he falls over...
Nedew
I love khali blocking exactly like he does in the ring. Just no selling it, Big Show looks around is like wtf, he tries again but it doesn't work...then he falls over... It would be brilliant if people actually had 'real' fights in-ring style. To see Hogan hulk-up in a bar brawl would the definition of awesome.
Remianen
Show's not the only "Giant" and to say that some moves can only be his is extremely stupid Actually, it's not stupid. Every worker of Show's stature (or higher) has 'signature spots'. These are moves that generally only they use (with only rare exceptions). Prior to his ECW title run, Show had never had his own finisher (which even lower midcarders get) and since then, he hasn't used that move in that fashion. Problem with Show's argument is that he's always been a really generic 'giant'. He doesn't do spots people wouldn't associate with workers that large, and he has no real 'hook'. His moveset could pretty much be named 'Generic Giant001'. He doesn't have a 'Five Knuckle Shuffle', or a Ballin' Elbow or Whisper in the Wind or a high knee or a Garv...err, Orton Stomp or lionsault, he has nothing. So anyone of his size class can use ANY of "his" moves and no one would be the wiser. Unless creative is willing to give him signature moves, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Obviously they haven't been willing to do so up to this point so he took the only other route, which was to get 'the boys' onboard and have them refrain from using certain moves in their matches (so they'd become associated with Show). Problem is, when your moveset is as simple as Show's and you don't have a following of note, it's easy for someone as limited as Khali to balk.
