Jim Ross : Hello Everybody !

Jerry Lawler : Damn Right Hello, it's the Royal Rumble JR, how can you not be ecstatic about that ! You Gotta Yell !

Michael Cole : Although I don't completely agree with my partner's analogy, I'll say myself that I too am very excited about tonight !

Jim Ross : Well, tonight, anyways, we have a stellar card, full of action packed matches, and I hope you folks are ready for it !

Jerry Lawler : Well, yeah. Anyways, aside from my somewhat dimwitted partner here, who doesn't seem to know the faintest bit about wrestling, like myself, we've got a great match on the way, as Jack Swagger, who is possibly one of the best prospects in the WWE today, will be defending his title, against one of the...

Jim Ross : Most respected workers to step into the ring, as he comes from the world famous Guerrero Legacy.

Jerry Lawler : Actually, I was going to say 'One of the dirtiest, most disrespectful' Wrestlers to ever enter the ring. I hope Swagger pounds his face in.

Michael Cole : Well, I hardly think that's fair, as Guerrero is one of the most respected men to enter the ring.

Jerry Lawler : Whatever, let's get started !

Jack Swagger vs Chavo Guerrero

ECW Champion/Challenger

The Match begins with Chavo coming forward, and pushing Jack Swagger around, very tentatively, not wanting to make a mistake. Swagger, sees a sloppy attempt at a grapple coming up, and avoids it easily, before turning it into a Belly-To-Belly Suplex. Swagger hits some simple stomps, visibally hurting Guerrero, who stumbles to his feet, already getting swarmed by the overly excited Jack Swagger, who gets reckless and takes a vicious punch to the jaw. Guerrero hits a few more punches before grabbing Swagger's arm and Irish Whipping him to the corner, which he follows up with a Corner Bulldog. Swagger continues to be beaten on, which the crowd is not liking. Swagger catches a lazy stomp and trips Guerrero, and switches around Guerrero, before picking him back up, and throwing him, into the corner. Swagger follows it up, rolling Guerrero straight to the middle of the ring, and sets himself on the top rope. Guerrero lies motionless on the ground, as Swagger hits a picture perfect Elbow Drop. Swagger, feeling the momentum from the crowd, picks up Guerrero, before hitting the Red, White and Blue Thunder Bomb, almost instantly getting the pin. 1, 2 and 3, and the match is over with Swagger retaining his belt.

Jack Swagger wins @ 10:23 with a Red, White and Blue Thunder Bomb

Boss' Rating : B-

Jim Ross : Well, now that was one of the best matches I've seen, from the All American American, Jack Swagger. He could very well be, the next big thing.

Jerry Lawler : I've been telling you this ever since we started our show today, Swagger, is a great wrestler, and somebody that needs to be watched at all times. Swagger, is a great ECW champion, and is probably going to be the best ECW Champion ever !

Michael Cole : Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves Jerry, anyways, that was a great match, but I'm sure the next one should kick it out of the spot.

Jerry Lawler : Wait a second, Chris Jericho is in the ring ? Why ? Shouldn't he be backstage preparing for his match ?

Jim Ross : Well maybe if you'd be quiet for a second, we'd be able to find out.

John Cena's familiar music hits, as he gets on stage, with a mic.

Don't go spreading these Lies that the WWE needed you, because, they didn't, you needed, the WWE. Chris Jericho, I pity you. Not because of the fact that you're acting like you're the top of the heap in the WWE, not because of the fact that you're acting like the so-called 'Saviour' of the WWE, but because you have the Gull, to lie about why you're here. The WWE doesn't need you, it doesn't need anybody. All it needs, is the Fans of the WWE Universe, and a Champion. That Champion, is not you Chris Jericho. Simply put, it's not you. Chris Jericho, You can't see what you've become, and tonight, I'm going to show you. Chris Jericho, I'm going to adjust your attitude. Ref, here's the belt, Chris, I hope you're ready...

This one, throws Morrison right over the top rope, dangling above the ground, holding on for dear life. Mike Knox continues to push Kane out of the ring, but Kane eventually wakes up, to grab on to a one handed choke around Mike Knox's neck. At the Same Time, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy both Pull Shad out of the ring, from the opposite side of the ropes, eliminating both members of Cryme Tyme.

The Brian Kendrick is the final entrant of the rumble, as Morrison quickly catches him with a Moonlight Drive. They've forgotten about one man, Brian Kendrick sprints across the ring, hitting the Sliced Bread #2 on Kung Fu Naki, and then throws Regal right over the ropes, and out of the ring. Rey Mysterio and Brian Kendrick begin throwing punches back and forth, before Mysterio distracts Kendrick, and stomps on his foot, allowing Mysterio to hit a Leg Sweep, collapsing Kendrick on the ground. Morrison climbs the top rope, and hits a Jumping Bulldog on an Unsuspecting Matt Hardy, who goes straight into the ground. Shelton Benjamin and Rey Mysterio then pick up Kung Fu Naki, with the help of Brian Kendrick, throw him straight out of the ring. Brian Kendrick, after giving a High Five to his help, kicks them both across the face, before hitting some stomps on Matt Hardy, and Clotheslines John Morrison. Only four left now, and they start turning on each other, Shelton attacks John Morrison, and Mysterio continues his earlier beat down on Matt Hardy. And Morrison really became the new HBK of the WWE with that Rumble Win!!!!!!!!

Lol, you know, I'd been planning a WWE diary for awhile, but I'd never gotten around to it, and I think, Morrison is probably going to one day be one of the biggest stars in the WWE. So, I thought, what better way to build his popularity then Winning the Royal Rumble.

On a side note, I hope you all see how much work I put into that show, because It was an absolute pain in the ass to right :p

Thanks Guys, just thought I'd post a couple thoughts on the show

-Yes, John Morrison won. As Explained in my earlier post, Morrison is one of my picks to be a break out star for the WWE, so I thought maybe by some off chance that they're reading the boards and happen to come across my dynasty they'll see that they need to push him ;)

-The Royal Rumble was, yeah, what took me so long to post, I needed to make sure all the kinks were fixed, and it was perfect. I hope it worked :p

-The next show, RAW Should be up for predictions by tonight at the least

-Jericho won, because, I like the fact that somebody OTHER than Cena is champ at some point :D as for Storyline purposes

Alright, Like I said, I wouldn't Expect this to be a long diary, and that's come to truth today, as I'll be closing this thread, as I've found my niche in Sports Entertainment promotions, and am finishing up my intro for my SWF Diary, which I'm planning on starting soon. The reason being for it ending this quickly though, is the kick ass logos i've gotten from the Mystery, as well as the recent hiatus being placed on the dominant SWF Generation Supreme diary, which I do hope returns, I'm not that cruel :p

Anyways, hope this doesn't ruin any potential readers that would come over to my SWF diary, but if it does, my apologies, and I completely understand.

Disappointed to see it end so quickly, but no one can really complain that you weren't up front about it being a short-term project. Interested to see what you can do with the SWF.

Well, the thing with the WWE is that the Roster is so out of control, and potentially in working with the WWE, most writers could have problems. I'm sure you're not going to have them, as with the bloated roster you had with the SWF, it should be right up our alley :D However, Myself, personally, prefer, being able to build up my promotion, however, with the SWF, it's not so much a building process with the promotion, but building on the Game World, as with Real World mod, you have a pre-conceived notion of what things should look like.

Its funny you mention that - when I first started messing around with a WWE game on TEW 2008, one of my first thoughts was "this roster is kinda small". Even messing around with TCW awhile ago and I couldn't help but feel limited by having just one weekly TV show. Generation Supreme has thoroughly corrupted me.

I think the "openness" of the CV is what has always attracted me to it. You get to put your own stamp on promotions and characters. There is a basis there, but so much to flesh out. One writer's visision of the SWF can be so very different from another wrtier's, yet they have the same base and the same workers. After spending so much time with my SWF diary trying to flesh out my vision of Supreme, the thought of a project where the fleshing out is already done and I need to do is tell a few stories... that's appealing.

  • 1 month later...

I've now decided that I'm going to be bringing this back, as Instead of starting a new diary with new backstory, I'd re-do an old one, continuing from the next episode of RAW with the outcome of the Royal Rumble.

I still wanted to do a Sports Entertainment Diary but with a new Database other then the C-Verse and I'd already started one so why not, RAW card should be up soon
