TNA - Tides of Change...

Recommended Posts

As October rolls around, Total Non-Stop Action is in the midst of a change... The old guard that have had it so easy under the regime of Jeff Jarett have been targetted as problematic, and those who have strove to make TNA the product it is today have started to come to the forefront...

What's more, those superstars who made their names in the WWE that have come to TNA are beginning to show their age and their loyalties starting to fray. It was now that TNA President Dixie Carter realised that she did not have what it took to carry on.

It was now, just 2 weeks before Bound For Glory with the card already set in stone that Ms. Carter sought out new funding, someoen with a different set of ideas, someone who wanted to really create a rival for the WWE. It was on the 1st of October 2009 that TNA Wrestling was bought by Mike Melling.

Mike Melling made his fortune promoting and improving the fortunes of a number of sporting teams around the world. In the UK it was his forward thinking that pushed Manchester United to a Global Marketing force. In Spain he'd improved the fortunes of a previously untapped Barcelona FC. Moving into other sports, he had been able to improve the image of Rugby and Union around the World and oversaw the introduction of 20-20 cricket.

His move into the Wrestling World has been highly criticised due to the completely different nature of Sports and Sports Entertainment. Melling has, however, dispelled such issues by ensuring the TNA fans that a complete turn around of the product will not be done overnight. It will be a process that will take time, patience and hard work.

He did say, however, and with a smile on his face, that this would be the most fun he'd ever had...

Thanks for the replys, just to let you know (which I should have put in the original topic) this card is subject to change. That's the Bound For Glory card as designed originally before my User Character took over.

Any changes to the card will mean you will be able to update your guesses.

Thanks for the replies though.
