Exclusive Venues will play a big part of my games. I've always felt like RIPW should have it's own venue, since it is a developmental company, and when WWE provided a venue for Ohio Valley Wrestling, Deep South Wrestling, and provides all the facilites for FCW, so they have their own home base to run out of.

Also, for larger companies, it's a nice perk to be able to have a wrestling venue only you run, especially if it's a good sized venue. If you can sign more venues to exclusivity, you can hurt an opponents business by locking them out of the best venues to run in an area.

Part of the reason WCW was never able to get a foothold in NYC was they were not able to get into Madison Square Garden, the Mecca of Wrestling in the Western Hemisphere.

In Chicago, WWE has run the Allstate Arena for years, while WCW ran the United Center. Even after WWE put WCW out of business, they still run the United Center [which is actually closer to Rosemont, Illinois] instead of running the United Center, which is located more in down-town Chicago.

Great new feature.

You wouldnt really see ROH do a show in the Impact Zone, or MSG allow TNA to have a show there.</p>

Just ask Hogan about a particular Harley Race slap, for more info.</p>

LOVE the new addition! Too bad this wasn't around in the last version of the game as "The Ministry" would have certainly been PSW's homebase venue. That being said, Great addition! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Adds a little something special to the fold.

Promotion Exclusive Venues - Great addition, if relatively minor in general terms. It just helps to add that little bit more depth in the detail. It would have come in handy back when I was writing my HGC diary or back when I had a game using WSX... stay out of the bunker!

This is great since alot of Japanese promotions have "holy grounds" venues BattlARTS with Kitasenju Theatre 1010, Futen with Kawasaki Plaza Sol, and BJW with Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (I think). Should be excellent, it'll be great for DOTT, CV97/75, and Moeru Toukon 2010 mods.

But one is ran once or twice a year and the other is ran every week.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think it would depend on the size of the venue (and the promotion), as to how often they used it. Your example is between to companies, one that tours year round, the other that stays mainly in one spot.</p><p> </p><p> IF WWE stayed in one spot, I'm sure it would utilize Madison Square Garden alot more.</p>

<p>Hmm, not sure if I'll end up using this, but for RW mods it sounds like a good addition.</p><p> </p><p>

One problem I'm already envisioning for it though, since it sounds quite static.. from what people are saying, it sounds like people are going to be doing exclusive venues for promotions below national. If and when those promotions grow in size, they're going to outgrow the venue, but the exclusivity will remain in place. I guess its not a big deal, but I'd feel like its a perfectly good venue going to waste.</p>

As a strategic blow to hold down the development of a company trying to expand into your area, it's a good thing, though. If MAW have Stanley Hall, no other small fed can run in the MA region without either taking a (comparatively) huge loss or waiting on spillover to get their pop up enough they can run the 1,000 seat arena.

<p>Or maybe the cost won't be worth the benefit anymore. I imagine there's going to be a cost associated to making a venue exclusive, so if you want to spend the money on a venue you're never going to use, go right ahead.</p><p> </p><p>

Same thing with workers. You could be a jerkwad and sign up all the available talent without any real desire to use it, but there's a cost associated to it and really, why would you want to fight with someone that much smaller then you?</p>

It's all speculation on my part, but at its most simplest incarnation it could just be something you set in the editor and then forget.</p><p> </p><p> If there is a cost associated then I wonder if you're able to break the exclusivity? And if you can do that sort of breaking of contracts, I wonder if you can form new contracts?</p>

I could see as swf making all the large arenas exclusive as to now allow anyone else the option of using them......they would have to go medium and loose out on ticket sales or huge and cost more money.......although that is if you are allowed multiple exclusive arenas
