ECW On Sy Fy 11/9/10

Out comes CM Punk, wearing a neckbrace and talking about how the cowardly attack Matt Hardy did to him on RAW. He talks about how the Illuminati is trying to restore the prestriege of professional wrestling and how he is trying to purify it so there is no drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes that are allowed, but Hardy's attack was uncalled for. He talks about how the Hardy Boyz, one should be in a rehab center and the other should be locked up in a mental institution. He talks about how he is appalled that instead of suspending Matt Hardy or terminating him, he has to fight the madman in a Streetfight on RAW, but Punk claims that he is a professional and will go through the match, but they will regret forcing his hand. Punk sticks around for commentary throughout the evening.

The World's Greatest Tag Team defeated the Hart Dynasty when Shelton Benjamin pinned Kidd with the T-Bone Suplex in 12:11 An impressive back and forth tag team match, as the Classic Survivor Series Match with William Regal, Nick Dinsmore, Kaval, and the Hart Dynasty against Finlay, Drew McIntyre, Goldust, and the World's Greatest Tag Team is hyped up. Both teams have the match, with Haas isolated in the ring. Hot tag to Shelton, who finishes off Kidd with a vicious T-Bone Suplex as Haas holds off David Hart Smith. (B-)

Out comes Drew McIntyre who talks about how the Illuminati spurned him last week. McIntyre talks about how he is a former ECW Champion and should be respected and tonight, he's going to prove that by beating Nick Dinsmore for the United States Championship. Out comes Dinsmore to the ring, who looks at McIntyre with a bit of disdain and slaps him, kicking off this match.

Nick Dinsmore pinned Drew McIntyre to retain the United States Title when William Regal passed him brass knuckles and he used them in 10:10 McIntyre seemed to be ready to win more gold and Punk rips into him on commentary, talking about how this man wouldn't even be on the roster, if he wasn't Triple H's workout buddy and talks about how Dinsmore was made to look like a chump by Triple H when he was Eugene, but now Dinsmore is part of the group that is going to eliminate Triple H from WWE. McIntyre beats on Dinsmore but William Regal comes out and throws brass knuckles to Dinsmore, allowing him to knock out McIntyre for the pin. Finlay comes out to get him some of Regal and beat on him on the floor. (C+)

Out comes the ECW Champion Bryan Danielson but Punk gets on the microphone, expressing his “concern” that Danielson is not quite limbered up for his big title match and would hate to have him suffer an injury due to improper warm ups. Out come the Dudebusters, who Punk tells Danielson that he has to face as part of his workout.

Bryan Danielson defeated the Dudebusters in a non title tune up match in 3:22 Danielson destroyed Croft and Barretta, beating them down and knocking out Croft with an elbow smash, before he traps Barretta in a dragon sleeper and forces him to tap out. (C-)

Punk applauds the victory and says that Danielson didn't break a sweat, which is why he is ordering a second tune up match against Vladimir Koslov, just to make sure. The fans boo, as Punk just claims that he is doing this so Danielson is ready to defend against Kazarian.

Bryan Danielson made Vladimir Koslov submit to a triangle choke in 5:44[/b ] Koslov was a bit more dangerous of an opponent than the Dudebusters, but Danielson proved his superiority by trapping the Russian in a submission hold and making him submit.

Once again Punk applauds and says that Danielson has shown himself and he can show him more in another tune up match against William Regal! The fans are really booing and Regal comes out ready to go.

Bryan Danielson defeated William Regal via disqualification in 4:50 Danielson and Regal had a short but spirited technical encounter. In the end, Regal low blowed Danielson and hit him with a pair of brass knuckles. Another shot for good measure as the referee disqualifies Regal. (B+)

Punk says that it looks like Danielson is properly warmed up so he sends out Frankie Kazarian, as Danielson has been knocked out by the brass knuckles shots.

ECW Champion Bryan Danielson pinned Frankie Kazarian to retain the title in 8:11 after Matt Hardy interfered and a small package. Kazarian got a two and three fourths count right off of the bell. He beats on Danielson but Danielson shows why he is the ECW Champion by fighting back. The referee gets sandwhiched as Danielson has Kazarian trapped in a cross-face submission hold but out come the Specialists and Kaval to attack Danielson but Matt Hardy rushes from the crowd with a pipe to take them out! Punk yells for security. Kazarian dropkicks Hardy to the floor and turns around, right into a small package from Danielson to get pinned! Kazarian has tasted defeat for the first time in a WWE ring! (B+)

Hardy is at ringside as the masked man jumps him from behind and beats on Hardy but Hardy fights back with a gutshot and he headlocks the masked man and pounds away on him. Hardy has the masked man and he begins to pull at the mask and it is slowly coming off, revealing dark hair underneath the mask and we are fading to black.

But not before we get a good look at the face of.....

WWE Superstars 11/11/10

Hype for tonight's tag team match, a bit of a preview for Survivor Series, your main event from Monday Night RAW, with R-Truth and Mark Henry taking on Cody Rhodes and Sheamus.

The Miz pinned Primo Colon with the Skull Crushing Finale in 5:11 Primo managed to catch the Miz off guard early but the Miz fought back. Primo leaped to the top rope after the Miz missed a move and missile dropkick gets a nearfall. Springboard cross body block misses and the Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale gets the pin. (C-)

Kaval pinned Goldust with a double stomp to the back of the head in 10:14 We see footage from two months ago on ECW, where Kaval lost to Goldust, one of the events that indirectly lead up to the formation of the Illuminati. Kaval and Goldust will be on opposing teams at Survivor Series but this time Kaval proves to be the better man, it is Goldust who is beating on Kaval, punishing him. Powerslam but Kaval is in the ropes. A suplex is countered and Kaval hits a leaping roundhouse kick and the double stomp, nearly caving in Goldust's skull to score the pin. (C+)

The Specialists defeated David Otunga and Justin Gabriel when Lawrence Davis pinned Otunga with a Half Nelson Suplex in 8:11 The Specialists prove to be the more dominant team, due to the fact that they got the experience and beat down Gabriel. Otunga enters the ring, to clean house but a rookie mistake was made, allowing Davis to hit a half nelson suplex for the pin. The Specialists will put the Unified Tag Team Titles on the line at Survivor Series against Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio! (C+)

A recap from all of the events of this past Monday on RAW, leading into the best of five series to determine the advantage for War Games on the three hour RAW. Paul London, who was unmasked on ECW, against the Big Show, Randy Orton against Bryan Danielson, Frankie Kazarian against Shawn Michaels, WWE Champ CM Punk against Matt Hardy in a non title streetfight, and Chris Jericho against Triple H.

Sheamus and Cody Rhodes defeated R-Truth and Mark Henry when Sheamus pinned Truth with the Bicycle Kick in 10:11 An intense tag team match, leading into the the five on five classic Survivor Series match that will feature these four men. Henry makes the hot tag and Truth runs wild but he covers the wrong man in Cody Rhodes, allowing Sheamus to sneak in with the Bicycle Kick and steal the pin. (B)

WWE Smackdown 11/12/10

Tonight its Batista and John Cena in Pick Your Poison, when Cena chooses Batista's opponent tonight and Batista does the same for Cena. Right now let's get to the ring where the WWE Intercontinental Title is on the line.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Booker T d. Jack Swagger via disqualification when Alberto Banderas interfered and attacked Booker T in 10:11 Swagger seemed determined to win the Intercontinental Championship and gave Booker T some anxious moments, but the former six time World Heavyweight and current Intercontinental Champion stayed ahead of the game. Out comes Alberto Banderas to jump Booker T. Two on one afterwards, but Christian makes the save, leading to an impromptu tag match after the break. (B-)

Alberto Banderas and Jack Swagger defeated Christian and Booker T when Banderas made Christian submit to the Cross-Armbreaker in 11:11 The usual fair that yo would expect between these four men, who seemed intent to prove something. Booker T was beaten down but he made a comeback and hot tag to Christian, who runs wild but his shoulder hits the post, allowing Banderas to arm drag him and apply the cross armbreaker which forces Christian to tap out. (B-)

We are backstage, where the Undertaker, Kane, and Mike Knox are standing by. The Undertaker talks about how Knox was shown the way, and the family grows. He was buried alive and reborn. At Survivor Series, the Fortunate Sons will learn the true meaning of destruction but tonight they're going to suffer when Taker, Kane, and Knox meet Ted DiBiase, Joe Hennig, and Brett DiBiase in six man tag team action. Knox says that they will all rest in peace.

Finlay defeated William Regal via disqualification when Regal hit Finlay with his own shillagh in 6:11 Both men have a roughneck brawl that you would expect, with Regal getting backed off but he goes low and then waffles Finlay with the weapon for the disqualification. Regal then hits a half nelson suplex and some shots to the kidneys, to really punish Finlay. Another one bites the dust thanks in the part of the Illuminati. (B+)

The Family of Destruction defeated the Fortunate Sons when Knox pinned Joe Hennig with a choke bomb out of the corner in 11:22 An impressive six man tag team match, as we lead to the Classic Survivor Series match, with the Family of Destruction teaming up with Christian and Booker T to take on the Fortunate Sons, Jack Swagger, and Alberto Banderas in a classic Survivor Series match. The new Mike Knox scored the win, as Ted DiBiase bailed, wanting no part of the Undertaker, despite his bold claims two weeks ago. (B-)

We are backstage, where Josh Mathews is standing by with Laycool but a battered Finlay enters the backstage area and chases the girls out, before cutting a promo on William Regal. Finlay calls Regal a filthy coward, who he's fought all over the world for decades but the next time he gets his hands on Regal, he's going to ring his neck. Finlay says next week, he'll bring his two fists and Regal will bring his and they can settle this in the Parking Lot, just like old times. Matt Striker goes insane, talking about the brutal Parking Lot Brawl that William Regal and Finlay had back in the days of WCW,

Out comes Batista, and he waits in the ring, as John Cena comes out, announcing his opponent to the Big Show. Show comes out and Cena has picked quite the challenge for Batista.

Batista pinned the Big Show with a spear after ramming Show into the metal in the corner in 10:11 This was Batista showing some level of dominance but the Big Show fights back. Out comes Paul London to get a close look at Show but Matt Hardy runs out and attacks London on the ramp, as both men brawl. This allows Batista the distraction he needs to expose the buckles and ram Show into them twice, before taking down the big man with a huge spear for the pin. (B+)

Batista leaves the ring and gets on the microphone, promising to be World Heavyweight Champion.

Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler and Chavo Guerrero when Rey pinned Ziggler with the Springboard Splash in 8:11 Bourne tried to wrestle this match on his own as an act of good faith but was overwhelmed and then the hot tag was made to Rey. Bourne and Rey had an accidental misfire which nearly got Rey pinned by Ziggler. But they managed to right the ship, in time for Rey to hit the 6-1-9 on Ziggler and the Splash, as Bourne took out Ziggler for the pin. (B-)

After the break, John Cena is in the ring and Batista announces Cena's opponent....Rey Mysterio! The fans are confused and Rey comes out, with Batista talking about how its obvious how Rey can beat this man and the fans know it too. Cena gets on the microphone and says that Rey doesn't have to take this match but Batista counters, asking what Cena is afraid of and says that Rey could beat Cena easily in the ring, just like he did in the recent poll for the favorite Smackdown superstar. Rey says he's taking the match, but he just wants a chance to face Cena. Rey enters the ring and the match begins.

Rey Mysterio pinned John Cena with a sunset flip in 14:11 Rey and Cena had an intense encounter, back and forth, with many nearfalls and it seemed obvious that Cena's frustrations were beginning to bubble, not being able to pin Rey not even once despite hitting several high impact moves. 6-1-9 but the Springboard Splash hits the knees and Cena into the STF with Rey in the ropes. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Rey counters with a sunset flip for the pin. (B+)

Cena is up in shock and Rey gets his second win over John Cena in many months on Smackdown. Cena steps forward and shakes Rey's hand, acknowledging him as the better man, but Batista jumps in the ring attacking Cena. Rey gets taken out with a spinebuster and so does Cena. Batista takes the World Heavyweight Title belt and holds it over his head, a sign for things to come, perhaps?
