WWE Superstars 2/10/11

Tonight's main event on WGN America features tag team action with the divas, with the Undisputed Women's Champion Katie Lea and Mia Mancini taking on the number one contender for the WWE Women's Championship Gail Kim and Alexandra Madison.

Mike Knox pinned Chavo Guerrero with a powerslam in 5:55 The deadly and diabolical Mike Knox squared off with Chavo Guerrero on RAW tonight. Chavo tried to get some moves in on Knox and managed to gain an advantage, but he got throttled, booted, and then snapped down with a powerslam for the pin. (C-)

We are backstage and Maryse is telling Mia Mancini that tonight, she's signed her up for Katie Lea's partner and loaned her services out. Mancini is not happy but Maryse says that she should just give up any aspirations she has of regaining the Undisputed Women's Title. Maryse reminds her that she's a tool and she says that if Mancini is sent back home, then she knows what will happen. Mancini just snarls at Maryse, but backs off. Tonight the divas are in action on Superstars.

Drew McIntyre pinned David Otunga with the Future Shock DDT in 6:22 Otunga made several rookie mistakes, proving that he still has a lot to learn and McIntyre finishes him off with a vicious Future Shock DDT. We see Justin Gabriel come out to save his partner from a future beating, but Vladimir Koslov rushes out and punks Gabriel from behind, knocking him out. Koslov and McIntyre exchange a stare down, both of these sadistic superstars, but nothing comes of it. (C-)

La Resistance defeated Santino and Yoshi Tatsu when Dupree pinned Tatsu Two weeks ago on RAW, La Resistance made their triumphant return as a tag team, Robert Conway and Rene Dupree. Tonight on Superstars, they fight Yoshi and Santino, their opponents on that night, once again. Santino is beaten in the ring, until the hot tag is made and Yoshi runs wild but gets hung up, and La Resistance hits the Au Revior for the pin. (D)

A recap of the events on RAW, leading to the RAW Elimination Chamber with CM Punk defending the WWE Championship against Shawn Michaels, the Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, and another competitor to be named and Paul London puts his Wrestlemania title shot on the line in a Triple Threat Match against Bryan Danielson and Randy Orton. Jerry Lawler comments that it doesn't appear that London has a snowball's chance and it will be great when the title shot goes into the hands of someone who wasn't about ready to sign it over to CM Punk and managed to eliminate two men from the Royal Rumble through suspect means. Also just added, Edge takes on the newest member of the Illuminati, Hernandez on February 20th at Elimination Chamber.

Alexandra Madison and Gail Kim defeated Mia Mancini and Katie Lea when Gail Kim pinned Katie Lea with a sunset flip in 8:42 Madison was beaten in the ring for most of this match until the hot tag. Gail Kim runs wild and goes for a sunset flip but Katie Lea grabs onto the ropes. Mancini attempts to kick Madison in the face but she ducks and the hands of Katie Lea are kicked off the ropes, with Gail Kim completing the sunset flip for the pin. (C-)

Gail Kim and Alexandra Madison celebrate their win, as Gail Kim will challenge Katie Lea for the Undisputed Women's Title at TLC. Mancini and Katie Lea have heated words.

WWE Smackdown 2/11/11

We see John Cena standing by in the back, talking about how in eight days time, there will be Elimination Chamber, and he will keep his belt. He talks about the top ten contenders on Smackdown will be broken down to five but he'll be the one to walk out with the belt. Even if his fellow Chain Gang members, Jericho, Batista, or Miz enter the Chamber, he'll help them clear out the field but after that, its every man for himself.

Evan Bourne pinned The Miz with a high cross body block off of the second rope in 7:22 Both of these men have won matches against each other recently on Smackdown, so this is a tiebreaker in the series. A series of back and forth moves, with Bourne managing to pin The Miz with a cross body and punch his ticket into the Chamber. (C+)

Christian is backstage, talking about how he hopes it comes down to both himself and John Cena inside the Elimination Chamber. He knows in his heart that he should have been World Heavyweight Champion at the Royal Rumble but Cena got disqualified. Now Christian's road to the World Heavyweight Championship, is through Alberto Banderas, the WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Batista pinned Finlay with the Batista Bomb in 8:55 The battle between Finlay and Batista, with both men are beating on each other in the ring, hammering on each other. Chris Jericho distracts him and Batista nails Finlay with a spear, before he hits the Batista Bomb for the pin to enter Elimination Chamber. (B)

Kane pinned Chris Jericho with the Choke Slam in 15:51 Kane is next into the elimination chamber. The fans are going insane, as Kane are beating on Jericho but Jericho fights back in this match but Kane fights out of the Walls of Jericho and big boot, before hitting a side slam. Jericho attempts to flee but Finlay meets him and throws him into the ring, before Kane hits the Choke Slam for the pin. Now Bourne, Batista, and Kane are in the Elimination Chamber. (C+)

We see Finlay entering the ring and he beats on Jericho. Jericho and Finlay are trading punches, brawling all the way to the back, as security breaks it up, with the fans going absolutely insane.

Ted DiBiase pinned Booker T with the Dream Street to advance to the Elimination Chamber in 12:05 Booker T and DiBise went back and forth. Booker T gained several close nearfalls but DiBiase hung him up and began to beat on him, but Booker T made a comeback. He goes for an Axe Kick but DiBiase avoided it and hits the Dream Street for the pin, to be the fourth challenger in Elimination Chamber. (B-)

Kane makes his way out afterwards and throttles Ted DiBiase, but Joe Hennig enters the ring, before attacking Kane from behind, beating him down, but Kane fights out and hits the Choke Slam, as DiBiase escapes the ring.

Christian pinned Alberto Banderas with the Killswitch to qualify for the Elimination Chamber in 12:41 Back and forth action, with Christian being sent into the ringpost and Banderas beat on the arm, before he hammers away at him, but Christian fights out, fighting the Cross Armbreaker, but Christian elbows out of the move and then hits a reverse DDT and goes for a Frog Splash but Banderas blocks it. Tornado DDT is avoided by Banders but Christian twists out of the Killswitch for the pin. (B)

The Elimination Chamber is now John Cena defending against Christian, Kane, Ted DiBiase, Batista, and Evan Bourne in nine days time, with the World Heavyweight Title on the line.

A WWE Special report, major superstar injured, leading to re-writes for intended plans of Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania 27.

At a Smackdown brand house show, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena went down with an injury. Despite this, he managed to finish this match long enough to get himself disqualified in a match with Christian with his World Heavyweight Championship. After the match, on a move gone wrong, Cena suffered a separated shoulder, that doctors suspected would keep the World Heavyweight Champion on the shelf for the next couple of months.

Despite that, Cena has vowed that he would not relinquish his World Heavyweight Title and will be at Elimination Chamber where he would defend the title inside the Elimination Chamber against Christian, Ted DiBiase, Batista, Kane, and Evan Bourne on the February 20th event.

WWE RAW 2/14/11

Randy Orton makes his way out, talking about this Sunday at Elimination Chamber, he will get the title shot at Wrestlemania and he'll take out anyone. He says that he will wipe out Danielson just as easily he will take out Paul London and his Wrestlemania destiny will be realized. Orton talks about how he might be going in with cracked ribs, but he's not going to let that slow him down. Suddenly, the Illuminati makes their way out, with the WWE Champion CM Punk walking out. Punk talks about how Orton might have deluded himself into thinking that he was something special but if it was not because of his last night, he would not have even got his foot in the door. Punk says that in seven days, when London keeps the Illuminati's property in his hands, it will be Punk against whoever the World Heavyweight Champion is at Wrestlemania 27, belt for belt and Punk's title reign will be undisputed. Punk invites Orton to take a free shot at him and when Orton does, big Hernandez rushes in, with a huge lariat.

The Illuminati are stomping Orton, but out rushes Edge, with a steel pipe in hand and he's swinging it. Orton and Edge exchange a staredown. Edge says he has unfinished business with Punk but he's going to take out his hired gun this Sunday. Out comes RAW General Manager Kevin Nash, who announces Punk and Hernandez against the reunited Rated RKO tonight in a blockbuster main event tag team match. Neither Orton nor Edge seemed too thrilled with this, having had a heated feud in 2010. They might hate the Illuminati but they might hate each other even more. Edge was more getting at Hernandez who he'll face this Sunday at Elimination Chamber.

John Morrison defeated Cody Rhodes, Paul Burchill, and Mark Henry when Morrison pinned Rhodes with the Starship Pain in 7:12 This was a last chance qualifier for the Elimination Chamber to fill the sixth spot and John Morrison made the best of a second chance, pinning Rhodes with a breathtaking Starship Pain. It will be Punk defending against Shawn Michaels, the Big Show, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and John Morrison this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. (B)

We are backstage, where Edge is trying to talk strategy with Orton but Orton brushes Edge off, saying that they will be partners, but for as only as long as the period of the bells. Orton says that Edge should leave, and tonight, Edge will take care of Hernandez, leaving Orton to finally get his hands on Punk. Edge steps back, not happy about being pushed around but has to concede that he has to work with Orton, if he wants to survive tonight's tag match against members of the Illuminati.

Gail Kim pinned Mia Mancini with a bodyscissors rolling cradle in 5:22 Katie Lea is on commentary, talking about how she gave money to Maryse, to hire the services of Mia Mancini to soften up Gail Kim, something that Mancini is not too happy with but Maryse yells something at her in French, she clenches her fists and enters the ring. The submission moves and rough offense of Mancini did keep the number one contender for the Undisputed Women's Championship for this Sunday off balance, but Maryse seems to be giving orders a bit too much, which allows Gail Kim to sneak in and score a flash pin. She leaves, as Katie Lea talks about how Kim won't be that fortunate against her this Sunday. (C-)

Sheamus pinned Kofi Kingston with the Celtic Cross in 8:13 The high flying Kofi Kingston battled the powerful and brutal Shamus, with the Big Show stepping in for commentary, talking about how this Sunday, he'll prove that he's the giant of wrestling by winning the WWE Championship inside the Chamber and reminds us that he beat Punk for the United States Title. Kofi crashed and burned and Sheamus picked up the win with the Celtic Cross. (B-)

We see Sheamus leave the ring and go right for the Big Show, who beats on him and we have a brawl around the ringside area. When security leaves the ring, we see the ECW Champion and 2011 Royal Rumble winner Paul London walk down to the ringside area, and he talks about how over the last couple of weeks, people have been talking trash about him, but he watched WWE Superstars last week and there were comments made by one Jerry “the King” Lawler, that London didn't have a snowball's chance and that he disrespected the Royal Rumble. London talks about how he could see how Lawler must have been offended, given all of the Royal Rumbles that he's won...oh that's right, he hasn't. London talks about how in WWE, Lawler was a joke in the ring, washed up, past his prime. He says that Lawler has forgotten more about the business than London will ever learn, which the ECW Champion freely admits and says that Lawler was great, but London is great. London demands an apology from Lawler and Lawler just tells London that he didn't mean anything by it, but London talks about how Lawler was a corporate sell out to Vince McMahon, now that the Illuminati destroyed Vince McMahon and put him in a coma which he'll never wake up from, Lawler can't take it. London shoves Lawler, asking him if he is going to do something about it and Lawler returns fire with some punches, but London suddenly goes right to the eyes and begins to choke Lawler with his own headset cord, before beating him with a series of strikes to the side of the head!

London throws Lawler into the ring, as Cole pleads for London not to do this, but London slaps Michael Cole right across the face, to a respectable amount of cheers! London throws Lawler into the ring and beats on him, nailing him twice across the side of the head with the ECW Championship, before giving Lawler a rolling elbow smash and then his own piledriver! London gets on the microphone and says that he hopes his opponent tomorrow night on Matt Hardy was watching this, he hopes that Randy Orton and Bryan Danielson was watching this, because London will give them more of the same, he says that he was holding back, because Lawler was an old man but London has no reason to hold back this Sunday.

Matt Striker comes out, as we see a recap of what happened moments ago.

Bryan Danielson pinned Tyson Kidd with a German Suplex in 5:22 Tyson Kidd of the Illuminati fights Bryan Danielson, who this Sunday, has a chance to get his ticket punched to Wrestlemania but Kidd beats on Danielson but he hits a kick to the head, before Danielson waistlocks and German Suplex pins Kidd. (B-)

Edge and Randy Orton defeated Hernandez and CM Punk via disqualification in 12:55 when Paul London attacked Orton with the ECW Championship Belt before he could get his hands on Punk Two on one beatdown on Edge, but Edge makes the hot tag and Orton runs wild, going low on Hernandez, but before Orton can get his hands on Punk, London slides into the ring with the ECW Championship and drilled Orton with the belt. (B)

London is beating on Orton but Bryan Danielson slides in but Jack Swagger, the Specialists, Kaval, William Regal, Kazarian and the Hart Dynasty cut him off, until the Big Show comes out, with Kofi Kingston and John Morrison rushing out. Sheamus joins the battle, with the Dudley Boyz going right after the Specialists. Punk is on the ramp but Shawn Michaels is standing behind Punk and Sweet Chin Music nails him right in the face. The WWE Champion is laid out and we fade to black with the chaotic brawl.

ECW On Sy Fy 2/15/11

Josh Mathews introduces us to ECW and over the past couple of weeks, we had a big announcement and a new General Manager would be introduced. Mathews wants to introduce us to a true legend in ECW, the Innovator of Violence, Tommy Dreamer. We see Dreamer make his way down to the ring, to fanfare. Dreamer talks about how over a year ago, his career was ended by a brutal beating at the hands of Vance Archer, but while his career is over, he can contribute in other ways. He says that the Illuminati will not pull anything with Dreamer on the case and he holds up a Singapore Cane for emphasis. He talks about how ECW is going to grow, its not going to be a second rate brand, and as a result on March 1st, ECW On Sy Fy will extend to ninety minutes! Thirty extra minutes of ECW. Dreamer also states that he'll be scouting for new talent that he'll be bringing in the coming weeks and finally, Dreamer takes out a bag and unzips it, before pulling out a championship belt, that he says is the new ECW Television Championship. Over the next two weeks on Superstars and ECW, there will be tournament matches, with the semifinals and finals taking place on the first ninety minute ECW. We see a look at the brackets.

[bARRETA]

[GABRIEL]

[MCINTRYE]

[YANG]

[CROFT]

[HAAS]

[OTUNGA]

[KAVAL]

Dreamer states the ECW Television Title will be defended each and every week, promising at least one title match. He also announces that on March 1st, the ECW Championship will be on the line, but we'll find out who is challenging for that match after tonight.

Justin Gabriel pinned Trent Barreta with the 450 Splash in 5:22 to advance in the ECW Television Title Tournament. Both men are going at it, with the winner facing off against the winner of Jimmy Wang Yang/Drew McIntyre on Superstars in two weeks. Baretta is blocked and Gabriel hits a reverse suplex, before hitting a 450 Splash for the pin. (D-)

We see a look at the Dudley Boyz against the Specialists for the Unified Tag Team Titles. The Dudley Boyz talk about how they are ready to reclaim their spot as the best tag team, but the Specialists state that there are going to keep their undefeated streak as a tag team.

Shelton Benjamin defeated Frankie Kazarian, Goldust, and Vladimir Koslov when Benjamin pinned Kazarian with the T-Bone Suplex in 8:56 An insane back and forth match, with all four men going for the championship shot on the first of March against the winner of tonight's Matt Hardy against Paul London. Shelton Benjamin continued the roll he was on, pinning Kazarian with the T-Bone Suplex for the pin. (B-)

Matt Hardy cuts a backstage promo, talking about how he's been waiting for two months to get his hands on Paul London. He talks about how the Illuminati has been banned from ringside. He talks about how tonight is his night.

We are out for the Jack Swagger, All American American challenge, against Charlie Haas. If Haas wins, then he gets one million dollars and a United States Title Shot. Both men grapple on the mat, with Haas getting the better of Swagger a couple of times, including applying a dragon sleeper but Swagger reaches the ropes. The three minute time limit runs out quick but Swagger low blows Haas and cradles him, using the tights, with just a second to go. Swagger just barely survives but Haas is up and gives Swagger a German Suplex, to cheers from the fans.

Paul London talks about how he is going to keep the ECW Championship tonight and this Sunday, he's going to keep the Royal Rumble title shot and then at Wrestlemania, we'll know what Paul London is all about.

Paul London pinned Matt Hardy to retain the ECW Championship with the rolling elbow smash in 12:44 Hardy attacks London at the bell, beating on him, and attempting to put him out. We see Hardy gain a nearfall with a Side Effect and punishes London with a rear naked choke, but Hardy is knocked to the floor and baseball slide into a Swinging DDT. London throws him into the ring and chokes Hardy, before beating on him. The fans are going insane, as London goes for a piledriver but Hardy counters with a catapult. Inverted DDT and Moonsault! Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate but London hangs onto the ropes and two elbows to the side before he nails Hardy with his elbow pad covered right elbow with a rolling elbow smash. (B)

London slides to the floor with the victory.
