milamber
SD MITB - Started off mediocre until it got crazy half-way through. Plenty of cool spots but also a few dangerous botches. I picked Rhodes to win but

Ziggler's fine if they hold off on the cash-in and turn him face after he wins the WHC. Man of the Match: Tyson Kidd for making the most of his few spots.

Del Rio v Sheamus - Solid match, pretty physical. I picked Sheamus to win. Del Rio distracting Ziggler from cashing in was a nice touch.

PTP v Epico/Primo - The tag division is fun right now and they're developing proper feuds for a change (if you watch SD anyway). Love these 2 teams. Rosa is hot and AW is hilarious! Definitely an area WWE has improved in this year.

Bryan v Punk - Loved it! Crowd were hot. AJ's expressions were priceless. The in-ring storytelling was quality. The wrestling was quality. Kendo Yes Lock! German Suplex through the table at the end was sick! Match of the year, IMO. I picked Bryan to win leading to Punk v Bryan v Cena at SummerSlam.

Hawkins/Rex v Ryback - That's more like it. Feed him more midcarders!

Raw MITB - My second favourite match of the night, suprisingly. The use of ladders made Big Show look good (I'm not a fan of his matches). Miz took a hell of a beating. I didn't mind Cena winning -- he's been out of the title picture long enough. Would have preferred him facing Bryan for the title, though, but I guess Punk v Cena is an easier sell for SummerSlam if that's the plan.

Best PPV of the year, IMO. Quality over quantity and the big matches delivered.

Hyde Hill
Hmm way I saw it, it was a Ziggler sandbag first then Ziggler slip followed cara slip, more on Ziggler that one. But again as having never personally executed the move we can't judge either way. And the way it panned out was still a nice spot. As I am watching it now as got some time to kill. Mainly to see if the Punk vs Bryan match really was that great and I still like wrestling in general.

Edit just rewatched it on slow mo it was Ziggler slipping first. Yes its a dl but since I have no legal way of watching it I feel like I am in the clear. Lol rewatched it again 3 botches in a row there from Ziggler, mis moving for the Rhodes ball shot, selling too early for the Cara elevated drop kick, and that one.
android17
IMO it's more on Ziggler on that one, his misstep is the beginning of that botch. I think both men(more on Cara) are too quick in trying to get to the top rope. They should allocate one or two extra seconds to make sure they are balanced. Hyde Hill
Full review numbers are personal entertainment and totally subjective, try not to let personal likes or dislikes for certain talent play in too much though. Build/ story does factor in as it effects the matches etc.

WH MITB: Nice entertaining match, shame little storyline development and 8 participants is just too much imho, and some botches/bad executions, but didn't effect enjoyment much so entertaining nonetheless. Ziggler winning is fine 6.75/10

Ziggler celebration : It was ok 6/10

No Holds barred commercial: This is on ppv? 1/10 ( I know didn't pay for it but still.)

Sheamus interview: holy scripting batman, it was ok 6/10

Miz return: went for more serious but came off as monotonous , going for more serious heel it seems, wonder if it will work. 5/10

Raw 1000 : Seriously on ppv and one you have already shown? 1/10

Sheamus vs Del Rio video package: Pretty standard fair didn't like the shading effect much. 5.5/10

Sheamus vs Rio : The going for the arm thing was nice but the botches where worse here then in MITB as they detracted from the match and flow, commentators did their best to cover, and it they seemed they tried to go for intense but failed. Standard fair for the rest, fine result 4/10

Post match attack Ziggler: Yeah ok segment, Sheamus being more damaged from that weak beatdown then the match and Del Rio reasoning to interfere bit weak but ok and Ziggler made to look weak immediately nice huh. 6/10

RAW 3 hour commercial: Again ppv ffs it was nicely done but still 2/10

Bryan interview: Another flat one but better then Sheamus 6.25/10

Colon v2 vs PTP : And a filler match, ok for a filler match, and I like the PTP stick for now, but hate matches like this none the less, epitomizes the filler era. If you can't even bother to announce them that shows you don't care, then why should we care. Make the midcard matter! Pre show should have been here and vice versa if they had to delay PTP challenge, and yeah have the no1 contenders lose again ok. 6/10 for the segment 1/10 for the rest, although I am glad they are at least trying to do something with the tag division.

PTP, True Boom segment: Hmm thought we had enough comedy with Santino and Vicky in mitb. Corny and meh, Truth did play the holding back little Jimmy very well and really dosed AW 4/10

Triangle recap: It was ok as a recap, don’t care for the story that much for multiple reasons but the execution has been ok 6/10

AJ interview: Best one so far but not great 7/10

CM Punk vs Bryan: And the ME shaft continues. Bryan going for a more heelish look it seems. The whole AJ L thing didn’t figure in too much but it did. Don’t mind the bait and switch (again) too much with AJ L still facilitating, but you can have progression without a choice, still nada. Refs > Divas apparently, Very good match though 8.25/10

Don’t try this at home: Approve of the message but do we need this still, and in the middle of the show? 6/10

Tout commercial: Way to promote the company you invested in WWE on a ppv! watching tout marks is going to be interesting 1/10.

Rybeck filler: 2/10 what’s next?

Hey another RAW 1000: at least it was a new one, and one of my fav moments 2/10

More filler now divas: At least they got their own entrances 2/10

Summerslam commercial: Badly done and on ppv 1/10

Showing buildup for MITB: small one here but why not have at least 1 interview with one of the participants in the match as it’s the ME they had 10 minutes to spare on the 3 hours?

WWE MITB: I actually like this one better then the first one. Less high spots more drama and better execution. Cena wins yawn but ok I do my best to suspend disbelief but yeah Cena again. 7.25/10

General:

Match placement: Swap pre show with the other tag, put one of the fillers in between Mitb and Del Rio vs Sheamus. Punk vs Bryan should have been main event especially with it getting more build, Punk winning and the added tension of a possible cash in. This was the worst title not ME yet. Like I said maybe intentional now, but its still crap.

Commentary: Bad as always, Kofi and R truth didn’t do anything either and they looked bad in suits.

Crowd + Setting: Very mediocre in their responses except for Punk vs Bryan hope they are better for BFG and the Rumble. Standard fair set and some bad camera/production work here and there. 87 percent sign in crowd lol.

Booking/ Storyline progression: AJ L still up in the air so that was a bait and switch, make Ziggler and your no1 tag contenders look weak. Cena wins, no kid(ding). Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Overall: 1 great match, 2 decent, 1 bad and rest filler and flatness. Without Punk vs Bryan this was mediocre at best. 7.25/10

For those interested: Des X, Extreme Rules, Wrestlemania/ Slammiversary, Sacrifice, MITB, Lockdown.

Rhodes deserves a title shot and Sheamus needs 1 or 2 more defenses yet if they want to him to replace Orton as long term #1 Babyface on SD. I don't want to Sheamus v Ziggler again so soon. Maybe have Rhodes get a fluke win over Sheamus then have Ziggler cash-in. Ziggler will get the crowd chants and they can easily turn him face. Then use a Rhodes v Ziggler feud (with Sheamus involved) to push them both into the main event.
