Blackman
<p>For DB, you are especially correct. He's too much on the left side of the spectrum, or should be in any case. He shouldn't make jokes about I don't like the way he's so confident against the Authority. Logically, they could screw him so bad, but don't for the love of his character. And it's clear he's beaten all odds already. But it's true he's been the 'underdog' for too long. They should switch to more dynamic gimmicks.</p><p> </p><p> Kaitlyn's persona was a random mess anyway. She would've been more suitable for an Emma-like gimmick that has some legitimate awkwardness build in.</p>

She was blonde, tanned, fit, tomboyish and decent enough but after all the losing and the crying she was made into a silent secondary in the AJ and Real Divas vs Total Divas feud that went nowhere.</p>

Teh_Showtime
Kaitlyn vs AJ at Payback was basically the best divas match of the last decade (ever) until Charlotte/Nattie happened
Mootinie
Kaitlyn's Gutbuster though... didn't anybody backstage ever mention how terrible her execution of that move was? I didn't mind her though, she had a lot of power but she was always booked as being an underdog for some reason.

And as far as the crowd caring, Lita vs Trish always got a ton more reaction, even if Lita was never much of a worker and Trish needed somebody to make her look good.</p>

And she could never be a replacement for Beth, who was employable as the eventual Glamazon (a perfect gimmick for her). The way SHIMMER used Beth gimmick-wise was just plain bad. WWE made her shine. Same thing: the way WWE used Kaitlyn, she just came over wrong. She can't help it, but her personality is more suited for workers with a 'different' body type. That said: I can't think of a gimmick that'd be perfect for her. Something Emma-like might be best.</p><p> </p><p> Decade is indeed an overstatement, but that's almost like saying the post-new year's match of 2001 is the best one of the decade 'so far'. It sounds a little more awesome that it actually is. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> On that topic, I'd probably go for Naomie vs AJ on NXT/Diva search, but I've seen little of that period so I'm not a reference.</p>
Rone Rivendale
Stardust is awesome that is all I was cringing when he first came out in the paint. But by the end of the match, I LOVED IT. Cody has come a hell of a long way charisma wise since he debuted.
dpoolez
Stardust is awesome that is all I didnt like it when he first showed up on stage but i will say that this is a creative and interesing turn for Cody, one that I didnt expect. Hopefully The Dust brothers can get another 2-3 runs with the titles before reverting Stardust back to Cody Rhodes and his hopefuk push to the uppercard. bigtplaystew
Stardust is awesome that is all Cody's a guy who has reinvented himself many times over while many of his midcard contemporaries have gotten stale and boring. He's got a gift of being able to commit to a character and make it work from the way he moves in the ring all the way through his promos. Cody's very very good. Will he ever be a main event attraction int his company? Remains to be seen. But he is very gifted and as a fan of both his and Goldust's I'm excited to see this. They've drawn out the drama between these two far further than I would have imagined and I think it's pretty great. I'm sure the Stardust thing will be relatively short lived in the general scheme of things but it's pretty cool how Cody has excelled at keeping himself fresh and not getting stale over his rather lengthy WWE career. If more guys were like him the complaints about the boring midcard would cease to exist.

Honestly he reminds me a lot of Jericho in both style and character, in that he does a good job of staying fresh, but he's not really the talker Jericho was and Jericho's runs at the top were few and far between, even with great promo skills. milamber
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Raw Review:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ziggler vs Rollins</strong> - Good match. I don't mind them spamming it or Dolph losing. The finish provided a nice segue.</p><p> <strong>Ambrose vs BNB</strong> - Good match with another smart finish. I feared Barrett was going to lose again on TV like most WWE Champs do.</p><p> <strong>Bray vs Sheamus</strong> - Solid match with an entertaining finish. Getting the Usos involved was a logical use of the match to advance that feud.</p><p> <strong>Slater vs Rusev</strong> - I like Slater the babyface super jobber. Rusev's showing more aggression but these squashes are no longer cutting it.</p><p> <strong>Fandango & Layla vs Rose & Summer</strong> - Silly fun but I'd like to see a proper mixed tag match. Rose's finisher is a weak version of Ambrose's Dirty Deeds. Also the touchy-feely stuff would make more sense if he were a cheeky heel.</p><p> <strong>Battle Royale</strong> - OK match until the last 10 minutes which was good. The final 3 (Reigns, Rusev & Bo) was well chosen.</p><p> <strong>Cameron vs Paige (Divas Title)</strong> - This was more like the NXT Anti-Diva. She got a passable match out of Cameron. I hope they turn Paige heel soon because AJ will be an automatic babyface if she returns.</p><p> <strong>Goldust & Stardust vs Rybaxel</strong> - I thought it would be Sandow as Silverdust (and there were rumors it would be John Morrison) but this was better. Best new entrance theme since Swagger's.</p><p> <strong>Cena vs Kane (Stretcher Match)</strong> - I fast-forwarded to the end just in case there was a swerve. I wasn't rooting for either guy and the result was obvious.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Verdict:</strong></span> Good show until the main event.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt88/milamber/jtgmemorial_zps99e9c3ce.jpg~original</span><span>http://i.4cdn.org/asp/1402973162042.gif</span><span>http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt88/milamber/v2xu36_zpsc9dc41c5.jpg~original</span></p>
The Swanton825
I wish I had remembered to watch Raw now. Stardust is exactly what Cody needed, and anyone who uses the diamond dust is a winner in my book.
mitsukaikira
Oh man. Best gimmick change EVER. Cody's a beast and if anyone can pull it off it'll be him. Having Dustin as your partner defintely does not hurt.

milamber
<p>I love the way Cody fully embraces the character from the body movement to the facial expressions. The changes to his moveset as well, although the last 2 moves looked clunky but I'm sure he'll improve.</p><p> </p><p> I think they should have Cody immerse himself in the new gimmick so much that Goldust either gets jealous and turns heel or worries that Cody is losing himself. It ends with a Loser Leaves WWE match at SummerSlam (unless Dustin gets his contract renewed then they could keep it going).</p>

No matter the gimmick he immerses so much in them from Legacy Cody Rhodes, to Dashing Rhodes, Ugly Rhodes, Rhodes Dynasty and now Stardust. Seriously he should be given a true main event run in the future preferably as a face since WWE really needs some of those. A heel is easier to build up in my opinion than a true babyface.</p>

dpoolez
Would love to know how Summer Rae got away with calling Layla a catty little t##t on Main Event? Isn't Main Event a Network-only show? It not being on TV would explain that the wrestlers have more liberties on Network shows than they do on Raw and Smackdown.

The show is live, so it's not a matter of her getting away with it, as much as it is that there was nothing production could do about it.
