Russelrules44
Jacob's Review for Smackdown Sheamus vs Antonio Cesaro (That was a very close matchup, It could have gone either way, 8/10) Heath Slater vs The Great Khali (Is this the beginning of the end of Khali and gang? Has 3MB been sucessful recently? And will Slater finally get his golden push he's been asking Santa since he debuted in the WWE? All will be answered........NEXT TIME! On Smackdown! 5.5/10) Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston (That was fun little tag match to give Del Rio some momentum coming into Payback. 7/10) Curtis Axel vs Wade Barrett (Folks, You might be looking at our new Intercontinental Champion, Miz is ready for bigger and better things and Barrett's just a jobber in champion's clothing..........or IS he? 6.5/10) Randy Orton, Kane and Daniel Bryan vs The Shield (Well, That proves it. The Shield DOESN'T always win, But damn! That was incredible. 9/10!) Final Result: B- (The final Smackdown before Payback and it didn't dissapoint, Slater finally wins a match, Axel is rolling on all cilinders and will be the favorite to win the title come Payback.......Let's just hope that the WWE mess up his reign and need I remind you that Bryan is the best overall performer ever?) milamber
NXT review: Zayn vs Cesaro - This is a good test-run for an exiting feud we could see on Smackdown in the near future. Zayn needs a more memorable theme song, though. Corbin/Tyler vs Dylan/Dawson - Dylan & Dawson are an old school, clinical tag team who are quickly growing on me. Bayley vs Fox - Okay match. Bayley's got potential but she totally over-acted at the start of the match. Dallas vs Big E - I knew Big E was dropping the belt now he's established on the main roster. Dallas is a natural heel but he's still too generic. SD Review: - Sheamus vs Cesaro - These guys are evenly balanced physically. Great match. Zeb managing Cesaro could be interesting. How about a Sandow/Cesaro tag team later in the year? - ADR/Jericho vs Ziggler/Big E - Fun tag team action. - Axel vs Barrett - Decent way to build up the modified triple threat match on short notice. - Bryan/Orton/Kane vs Shield - I skipped the first half of the match but the last 5 minutes were awesome. Bryan reigns supreme and the Shield lose for the first time! The crowd loved it. Verdict: Better than the usual pre-PPV Smackdown shows. Russelrules44
You know, I consider myself to be kinda of a combination of John Cena, Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston. I back off from negative critism, I work hard and harder every day to make my diaries sucessful (I follow the advice sometimes) but never get anything in return. (and as for my latest diary, You can call it MY "Last Attempt Tour"......Yeah, seriously, I'm just trying anything now.).......And I'm a happy go lucky dude, Nuff said, Nothing can stop me from being happy. Rickymex
Bayley vs Fox - Okay match. Bayley's got potential but she totally over-acted at the start of the match. More importantly Bailey has a BIG ASS! Maybe it was the tights but she made AJ look puny.

DaMegaFish
I didn't see the whole match, but what I did see from AJ and Kaitlyn looked mostly awesome. Glad to actually be more on the impressed side than disappointed side with a divas match.
Active Jerichoholic
The end of Del Rio/ Ziggler legitimately surprised me, really wasn't expecting that.

However the difference between those two matches was that Stratus/James delivered and I didn't think that AJ/Kaitlyn however it might not be fair because Women's wrestling was a lot better back then than it is now but something just didn't click with me. However having said that I am happy with the outcome of it and I am glad that AJ won the title.</p><p> </p><p> @Active Jerichoholic, I agree with you on that one it was a good match but the ending totally took me by surprise and that's the other thing that I didn't like about the PPV was that Ziggler lost the title. </p><p> </p><p> This pay per view was a lot better than I thought it was going to be and Ryback/Cena actually entertained me and the finish was both different and creative.</p>
Active Jerichoholic
<p>I definitely agree TakerNGN74, and I'm a Del Rio fan. I fully expected Ziggler to get a 5-6 month reign with how long they waited on him. Hopefully there's nothing worse going on injury wise for him, and if this leads to him being a face chasing the title til say SummerSlam where he wins it again I'll be less confused about the outcome of tonight's match.</p><p> </p><p> As far as the Divas Title match, I'm just glad there was a reason for it finally. It wasn't the best we've ever seen, but Kaitlyn's Spear looked great and hopefully this feud continues. Who else have they set up to challenge AJ anyway?</p>
djthefunkchris
<p>My biggest surprise was that there were about four match's I liked better then the Punk match. I don't know if it was ring rust or what (the commentator's were throwing it out there as well). Awkward is the only thing that comes to mind with that match. </p><p> </p><p> The crowd didn't let me down though.... That's why I say I love Chicago.</p>
DaMegaFish
<p>"VINTAGE PUNK!" I legitimately laughed when he yelled that at Cole.</p><p> </p><p> In regards to the womens match, I don't know for sure, but I'm willing to be the early Lita/Trish matches weren't the best. I'd say the AJ and Kaitlyn match made me excited for how the WWE might start presenting its Divas (although they probably won't get too rough) Seriously, throwing over the announce table and stuff isn't normally Divas matches, so maybe they'll start pushing it more.</p><p> </p><p> I am perfectly okay with Dolphs loss. Rio turned to some heel tactics in the match, and even Ricardo seemed more heelish after. The obvious set up for this would be Dolph chasing with the spirit of a fighter to get his title back at SummerSlam (not MITB, we've got to sell that he's still hurt a bit). At least I hope thats where WWE is going with this.</p>
djthefunkchris
/nod, definitely a heel turn with Rio... The announce team made that obvious.
DaMegaFish
I'm perfectly fine with a heel turn for Del Rio. I don't under stand him as a face...whats his gimmick? He's from Mexico? That doesn't make me automatically want to cheer for him.

Without a Swagger and company around, there is no real reason to cheer his 'cause (although I think they meant for it to be a bit deeper/thinking Eddie G. type stuff).</p><p> </p><p> I like Del Rio as a Heel tons more then I have as a face, so I'm really good with it. Turning him heel might automatically turn Swagger face (they need to do this anyways).</p><p> </p><p> Also, the Heyman gets Punk in trouble during the match was interesting... making me think possible face turn for him as well.</p>
milamber
<p><strong>Payback Review:</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sheamus vs Sandow</strong> - Highlights looked good but Sheamus can't even lose on the pre-show <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>Miz vs Curtis vs Barrett (IC Title)</strong> - Top drawer opener. All 3 guys were on top form. The ending was simply PERFECT! The crowd loved it. How about Christian or RVD for #1 contender?</p><p> <strong>Kaitlyn vs AJ (Divas Title)</strong> - Best divas match this year (even better than most on NXT). Lots of false finishes and counters, and an actual storyline. AJ deserved the title even if it is worthless.</p><p> <strong>Kane vs Ambrose (US Title)</strong> - Worst match on the PPV -- TV quality at best. Kane is too predictable in singles competition. The ending might have been weak but I feel it was just a set up for either a long feud or a Kane heel turn.</p><p> <strong>Del Rio vs Ziggler (WHC Title)</strong> - ADR heel turn with Chicago smarks chanting for Ziggler was an unexpected twist. After a slow start the match was awesome! The finish left me stunned but I'm looking forward to a long feud. ADR's face-plant superplex is one of my favorite moves in WWE.</p><p> <strong>Jericho vs Punk</strong> - I wanted a slow-burning technical match and that's what I got. Punk's mutton chops FTW! Match of the night but only just.</p><p> <strong>Shield vs Bryan/Orton</strong> - Had some tough matches to follow but was entertaining as usual. D-Bry rocked again. The match was scripted the way most people expected.</p><p> <strong>Ryback vs Cena</strong> - Stage 1 : Methodical beatdown by Ryback. Good use of the lumberjacks. Cena splash was cool. Stage 2: Good table destruction but the winner was obvious. Stage 3: Loved it. The ambulance was more than just a useless prop. I went in thinking this match might tank but overall it was a decent match with a few good spots.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Verdict:</strong> I absolutely loved this PPV. Predictable on paper but most of the matches met or exceeded my expectations. You'd think it was Night of Champions the way the card was ordered, which turned out to be a smart move with all the title changes. The announcing was good -- even King was mostly funny.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt88/milamber/CurtisAxelthepirate_zpsb3038ad4.png~original</span><span>http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt88/milamber/09_AJ_05212013jg_0093b_zpsc38294b6.jpg~original</span><span>http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt88/milamber/shieldactionfigures_zps2c5e73c9.png~original</span><span>http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt88/milamber/cenaflyPAY_Photo_267_crop_650_zps5779e7aa.jpg~original</span></p>

Active Jerichoholic
<p>@DaMegaFish There was never really a full explanation of why Del Rio was a face, they just used the phrase that was something to the effect of he started in Mexico, but was "made" in America a few times. Which, like I said I'm a big fan of the guy, but is complete BS. He's way more over in Mexico, but that's actually to his advantage still in WWE obviously.</p><p> </p><p> Also, all that Cena spot made me think of was a recent Orton interview where he said Cena shouldn't be doing dropkicks, which apparently are more dangerous than dives outside the ring. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Teh_Showtime
The best part are the Punk vs Heyman promos and face Ziggler coming back to get some revenge! Dude has all of the tools to be a perfect megaface. Flashy moveset, good charisma, and he sells his ass off which actually has gotten him tons of sympathy as a heel so nice to see them finally capitalizing on it. Russelrules44
<p>And now, My review for Monday Night RAAAAAAAAW! 6/17/13</p><p> </p><p> Christian vs Wade Barrett- Wade needs at least 3 things, 1, A face turn, 2, A push and 3, The Money in the Bank, But either than that, It was good. (7.5/10)</p><p> </p><p> Team Rhodes Scholars vs Sheamus- Damn these cliches, Sandow steals one from the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, But it was a fun little handicap match. (5/10)</p><p> </p><p> Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan- I love both men, So it was tough to choose who to root for, But either way, That was a well built up match, Can you believe how nice Randy was when he helped D-Bry up? The SOLE thing that absolutey sucked was the ending. (9.5/10)</p><p> </p><p> Kane vs Dean Ambrose- This is what they are going to do if Kane doesn't turn heel, but either way, he will have one last run with gold, a decent match overall. (5/10)</p><p> </p><p> Antonio Cesaro vs William Regal- Two things to say, Great squash match and...........Screw you Zeb! First you turn Swagger into a racist money warding asshole and then you have Cesaro become a american who HATES OTHER COUNTRIES?! WHAT NEXT? YOU GET MUHAMMED HASSAN, DAVARI AND THE IRON SHIEK TO FORM A NEW TRIANGLE OF TERROR? DAMN YOU ZEB! DAMN YOU TO HELL! (6/10) (And by the way, I don't hate hate Hassan, Davari and Shiek, I don't even dislike them.......I despise Shiek for hating on Hogan, Davari and Hassan play Arab-American terrorists so that's pretty bad on the Jacob Scale)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Chris Jericho vs Heath Slater- This is what you get when RAW is 3 hours long.......The 3MB, Ugh, When RAW ever decides to go back to 2 hours, can we please never see Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal again? (........Drew can stay however, I see potential in that guy.) (3/10)</p><p> </p><p> Curtis Axel vs Sin Cara- In most words i'd say that Axel will live on to have a nice long reign as Intercontinental Champion, I'd say having Paul Heyman on his side was the best thing to happen to him. (7/10)</p><p> </p><p> CM Punk vs Alberto Del Rio- Well, It's official, I love CM Punk again, That was a AWESOME match! It had it all! action, drama and surprises! (10/10!)</p><p> </p><p> Verdict: A- (This wasn't a bad episode of RAW, No really, It was pretty damn good. Christian's back, Young guys are getting pushed finally and 3 things.)</p><p> </p><p> 1. CM Punk vs Del Rio</p><p> </p><p> 2. Dolph Ziggler's face turn, Surprising and shocking. Maybe Ziggler's not such a bad guy after all.........However he still turned AJ into a skank, but i'll get to that later.</p><p> </p><p> And 3. Mark Henry's incredible acting, I nearly thought he was gonna retire.</p><p> </p><p> P.S, Cena could be in big trouble come MiTB if he doesn't do something about Mark Henry.</p>
