CVerse suggestions thread.

Recommended Posts

I *guess* this might belong in suggestions, but this got me to thinking.

Based on the features announced so far, Adam obviously read the suggestions board. So how about a suggestions thread/wish list for the CVerse database itself in 2010? :)

Obviously Adam is going to do his own thing for the most part since the CVerse is his own unique world, but in the event he runs a little low on creative capital one of these days or wants to throw in an Easter egg for the TEW/CVerse faithful how about we post stuff we think would make the game world more enjoyable or that we personally want to see? :D

This is a bit different than the other thread since it has basically taken on a speculation focus.

I'll start:

1. Have Lauren Easter sign with USPW. She and Alicia Strong were *destined* to work together. Plus, the CVerse needs a strong women's division in a major promotion. The SWF/TCW people would cry if they had to book women's wrestling though, so let's just send Easter to USPW. Please? ^_^

2. Let's get Charlize Angelle over. It's about time. Actually, scratch this. BSC would be a little less charming without her. That reminds me though...

3. It's about time for Marc Dubois to take his place as the next Tommy Cornell. Could we jack his stats up +10 in every place that matters? Wouldn't this suddenly make drafts more interesting? Look at Dubois's stats. Now raise his basics, psych, consistency, star quality, charisma, mic, acting, and core rumble, flying and tech skills 7-10 points each. At 24, wouldn't Cornell or him as the number 1 pick be a tough choice? This needs to happen, seriously. ^_^

4. Let's hook Wolf Hawkins up with somebody. He needs to continue his evolution as the spiritual successor to Cornell by getting engaged to a talentless hottie. Now that I think about it, I've come up with a good reason to get Charlize over... put number 2 back in play.

5. Gargantuan needs to be champion somewhere. I don't know where, but it just feels right.

6. Chance Fortune needs to team up with someone else with ridiculous hair. I don't know who yet, but I'll get back to you.

7. Principessa should leave the business. Her render hurts my eyes. :D

8. Let's hope Ed Cornell makes something of himself after all. ;)

More as they come.

You're a month too late, Kobe.

Besides, I am staunchly against Lauren Easter in USPW. I guess you'd want Fuyuko Higa..and Sae Akutagawa...and Yu Hashimoto...and Eri Sato...and Lucy Stone-McFly in USPW too, eh? Let's load up all the top tier women's talent in a promotion where they're a sideshow, at best. True, I don't have a say but it makes no sense for the two best women's workers in the C-Verse to be in a promotion where they're not even featured. Put someone from AAA in USPW (and let Lauren take that person's spot). But putting her in USPW locks her away, for all intents and purposes, and kills the first 5 years of the game world's women's development. Why not put someone who needs overness to mask their lack of skills there? Like, oh I dunno, Faith McGee? Even Ashley Grover would be a better choice.

Even if it wasn't too late (damn you and your teases, Remi), I don't think suggestions would work too well in terms of the CV. Its awesome that so many game suggestions are accounted for and used, but opinions vary so much on the CV. What one person would leave to see, the next would hate to see. Perfect example - the Easter in USPW suggestion, and Remi's very convincing arguement why that's not a good thing.

Or even the suggestion about Marc DuBois. Sure, that woudl be great for the relatively small number of CV gamers who do drafts. But what about for those who use the SWF and suddenly have one of the few challenges of running the SWF taken away? Yeah, DuBois is pretty much a guaranteed superstar, but it can be interesting to try to work to ramp up his skills so that a year or so into the game, he's not just one of the most popular workers in the world but also the most talented.

I just think too many suggestions of what people want to see would fall into this type of category. Yeah, it might be "cool" to see, but there is an obvious downside to many of them. I thinks its probably a better plan to just let the maester do his work and try to maintain composure until this is ready for us to enjoy...

BSC needs higher sex appeal girls. With BSC I'd much rather have A* sex appeal with no wrestling skills than people like Allison Capone and Beth Galaxy although that may change with comedy matches.

More spot monkeys and psycopaths...

There needs to be more workers generated every month.

There needs to be more feds and they need to share workers so like the people of MOSC can at least get three matches a month.

Every region needs a TV show so the AI will start running 5 shows a month.

I'm assuming that Adam is either looking at that thread for ideas, or he doesn't want any input from us and will be making it all up himself. A suggestions thread seems superfluous.

But if Kobe didn't create a new thread, a lot of people would of read over his post! That cant happen. I mean, that other thread is rubbish speculation and suggestions, THIS thread is only the stuff that really SHOULD happen. Not that other stuff that we THINK is going to happen. The differences are immense. :p

Just fooling, but yea... this thread is basically a double.

But don't you want to see a strong women's division somewhere? :D

As a development team member I imagine you already know what's going on, so I'll just give up on that particular dream. :o

It has a rock solid women's scene. The best wrestler in the mod is actually a woman. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
