C-Verse is Actually Really Awesome

Recommended Posts

I just realised this today, I've been a TEW fan since 2005 and I've had several C-Verse games in the past but never got into it, I guess the fact that it's not real and I've always loved the real mods has stopped me from enjoying it. Today I was bored as with every mod I have and figured I'd try something new so I started a game as TCW and after only a week of playing I'm having a total blast. Just thought I'd share :D

He was add on. An incredibly cool add on, but still an add on.</p>

<p>Yes. The CornellVerse is awesome, especially when you think that most people sort of laughed it off as fluff when TEW first came out..and then you see how the community became involved when the first set of renders were created...and now that the stories have grown and twisted and more characters and more renders have been added...heck, there are characters in the game that now have sons and daughters to where the CVers has an ever expanding history and backstory along with a future that allows the game to simulate effectively for year.</p><p> </p><p>

I know some people have a hard time not using real world mods. I honestly don't think that there's any data base better than the CVerse.</p>

I only have the Freeware edition, but I love the C-Verse. One of my favourite features of it is that it's so deep. Part of me wants to buy 08 to experience more of it, but I know I'll just wait until August to get '10. (Only August because by then my exams will be over, goodness knows that if I have that game whilst I should be revising for the exams which decide my future, my future will suck!)

The C-Verse is awesome alright...because it has Big Smack Scott. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Triple H is Triple H but I've seen at least 3 to 4 versions of every major star in CVerse America, and ever CVerse Canada.</p>

I always like playing the top promotions in real world games (mostly WWE/F and WCW) so I thought SWF would be the one for me but I failed at that a couple of times in my previous games on TEW2007 but TCW is pretty much perfect. One thing I don't really like about the game so far is the main event face scene, I can't wait to turn Sam Keith cause the only main event face I really like at all is Tyson Baine.

In my long running private SWF game, I always have too many heels. Makes it interesting trying to imagine what a face Rich Money would be like though.</p>

Iv'e recently becoming enticed with the C-verse as well. I choose a random promotion to start with and I ended up with USPW. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Bruce The Giant was a face. Ended up turning him heel, and taking the title off of James Justice. His momentum shot strait to A* and he's without a doubt my number one player. His feud with Justice has been going about 4 months strong now and i'm having a blast booking it

Just being beloved by fans, I've always thought. Much like Andre often was. But I think he is easier to use as a heel, where his Menace can moreso be used.

Same thing I was thinking. There's an animated movie out there with an evil giant that reminds me EXACTLY of the way Bruce The Giant looks. I just base his heel character off of that.

For the life of me I can't figure out the name of the movie though.

The CVerse has had my interest since the very first TEW. I played as HGC and used the Japanese guys a lot. Ota, Kunomasu, and Narato were some of my favorites. I also enjoyed Rip Chord and Tommy Cornell. This all translated to me being a TCW mark! Never played as SWF and probably never will.

This thread has given me an idea as to how the Syndicate could be changed up though. I have had Sam Keith leave the Sydicate for his sons before but Wolf Hawkins left too. Now I have an idea that the Syndicate would kick out Keith saying that he didn't bleed TCW blood. He was from that filthy promotion up north. Then Keith could band together former SWF wrestlers calling them the Supreme Wrestling Faction or Super Wrestling Faction... something along those lines.

Syndicate would be Machines, Wolf Hawkins, and Cornell. SWF would be Keith, his sons(maybe), New Wave, Nemesis(maybe), or any random former SWF pick up.

That storyline could be fun. This is why the Cornellverse is so great though. You can go a million places with storylines and you aren't tied to character stereotypes because these are fictional characters.

C Verse is Actually Really Awesome

I like the data of a lot of the real world mods, but they arent really "complete" in the sense that the C-Verse is with the game. With no backgrounds on pictures and the prescence of body pictures, it really does so much to make the game feel whole.
