Marty Papin

Hello, everybody and welcome to the first of many ACPW.com Special Reports. We are under a week away from the inaugural event here in All Canada Pro Wrestling, but it's not just any event! It's a two-day, sixteen-man Heavyweight Championship tournament: the Canadian WrestleFest. We have some top-tier talent from all across Canada and even the United States coming in to try their hand at being named the top professional wrestler in all of Canada. Without further delay, let's check out the round one matches.

First off, we have 'Phenomenal' Ed Larkins, a two-time 4C Hardcore Champion and former 4C Tag Team Champion, taking on 'Stunning' Kenny Stuart, the former K-Squared. These two men are very capable of high flying action and it'll be interesting to see just what they deliver as the first ever sanctioned ACPW match.

Second, it's Frankie Dee going one-on-one with the master technician, Ron Greenhorn.

Next up, the powerhouse known as Zeus Maxmillion steps in the ring with Nelson Callum. Both men are hungry to get their first taste of gold in this profession and this is their prime opportunity.

The fourth of our eight round one matches should be a good one. Three-time 4C Champion, Joey Poison, will take on a man named Tempest Appleby. Joey Poison is no stranger, obviously, to championship gold and looks to add even more to his impressive collection.

Match five brings James 'Mainstream' Hernandez, two-time winner of the Rip Chord Invitational down in the United States and former Mid Atlantic Champion. He takes on Thomas Morgan, a 1992 graduate of the famous House of Stone. This will, no doubt, he one hell of a match.

Up next is twenty-seven-year-old Cal Sanders goes head-to-head with super high flying Trent Shaffer. This will definitely be a cruiserweight battle of epic proportions.

The seventh match is a duzy. Mason, the mysterious newcomer to the world of professional wrestling, takes on Raphael. We don't know enough about this Mason guy to make any educated predictions, but what we do know is Raphael is a former Rhode Island Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champion. Should be an interesting match to say the least.

Our eighth, final and main event match in round one of the Heavyweight Championship Tournament pits 'Remarkable' Steve Flash against Stan 'The Man' Manna. Flash is a veteran of the sport holding no less than nine championships between NYCW, North of the Border, RPW and CGC. Manna is a youngster looking to win his first taste of gold.

Eight great matches on night one alone makes this weekend worth seeing. Night two of this weekend's fesitivities will see round two, the semi-final and the final round.

Ladies and gentleman, be sure to drop by and witness history as All Canada Pro Wrestling kicks off and big, big way. That's it for this special report, see you next time right here on ACPW.com!
