WWE: Under Pressure

June 1st 2009, On Raw a storyline began where Vince would see seen talking to an advisor on the phone, discussing his financial status. Wrestlers and Divas were coming up to him on screen telling him that there pay check is late and he would just reply "Im sorting it",

 

This carried on for months, Smackdown, Raw and ECW started to look "cheap". The ropes broke every now and then and were tapped up, announcers using wooden tables after the original ones had been smashed through and things generally on screen were starting to look bad.

 

On an edition of Raw which was held on the 28th of December, Vince made his way down to the ring to finally admit that things had gotten really bad financially, and announced that he had found a new investor. This investor will put more money into the WWE but in return, but he or she wants to ‘own’ ECW, With Vince having no part of it.

 

Vince then went on to say he hadn't met with the investor yet, but his legal team had but the contract had been sent and was to be signed by the end of the night.

 

After the main event of the evening which saw Sheamus managing to pin Cena cleanly, Vince McMahon made his way out the ring and requested for this "Investor" to finally reveal himself, The crowd was quite, There was literally no sound around the arena when,

Vince McMahon face dropped as Heyman walked onto the stage holding a signed contract in the air, grinning as Raw comes to a close.

ECW Cancelled?

WWE.com has posted an announcement that tomorrow’s edition of ECW on SyFy will be a 'Best of 2009' episode, and that Paul Heyman will officially take over ECW on the first edition of ECW in 2010.

Why is the WWE in a bad financial situation?. What happened that Vince lost all his money? For this to seem even remotely believable those questions have to be answered. Other than that, good luck!

It wasnt really, it was part of a storyline.
