I am playing as ROH in 2002 I want to run it with as high an emphasis on talent as possible but without being penalised for doing simple angles and some tainted finishes.

As it stands now even angles with my most popular stars, Lynn, Corino, Candido and best promo's again Corino & Candido get an E+, and simple ideas such as having Cide & Boogaloo lose by going nuts and being DQ'ed totally screw up the match rating.

Ca n anyone give me an idea for a decent product setting or am I stuck with having a performance based fed being hindered by angles and questionable finishes.

Well, you actually likely want one that's evenly split so that the crowd don't crap on finishes, but as I'm not familiar with ROH2002's roster and style, I can't recommend more specifically.

Just set the mainstream to low. That should work.

Are you using Remi's settings for the product? If so, notch down the realism slightly. It gets the clean finishes bit away and so long as modern is fairly high performance should still count.

 

It could also be that pure is too high. That has a great affect on tainted finishes and such....

The only thing that affects angle usage in your product is your match ratio. Set it to 80% and you shouldn't have any issues.

 

Turn PURE down, as that's the setting that most affects finish types. Besides, RoH shouldn't have too much Pure to begin with. Pure (at least in my view and judging by the C-Verse's settings) is more of a catch wrestling style (i.e. big in the UK, not so much anywhere else). ROH has never been catch.
