Scott Vibert
This one is generally related to the registration of the ActiveX Controls, you might want to try reinstalling the game, making sure that no other programs are open when you are doing it. GrandMof
I'm having the same problem as chammer39. I've tried to make sure that everything is updated and have googled the error message to try to find other remedies. All the ones that i've tried have not helped so far. chammer39
Would re-formatting and re-installing Windows help out?
chammer39
I still haven't tried re-installing Windows and probably won't have the chance too for awhile. When I find time I will back-up my files and see what happens. If anyone finds a solution before this time let me know.
Arlie Rahn
Try this. See if you have this file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll if you do, let me know the version. It should be atleast 3.60.8618.0. Most of the time, a 429 error is the result of an incorrect version of DAO 3.6.
GrandMof
I have that file and its the save version number. There is also a Dao350.dll file in that folder as well. ver # 3.51.1608.
chammer39
I have the same version of DAO. I've tried to manually register a couple of dll, but still no luck.
Arlie Rahn
Jet and DAO are almost always the culprit on this. I will do some more research here.

GrandMof
Just going to bump this post one more time to see if you got any research into the problem. I've played the demo of this game on my work computer and enjoyed it but playing from work is not a really good option. If i could get it to work on my home PC i'd defiently purchase the game.
