Dynasty: The Rise of BCF

Recommended Posts

NOTE: This data is a combination of the Default data and the new Fresh Start Complete data. This is my first dynasty, so bear with me.

(Inside the office of BCF Owner, Jerom T. McCallum)

Charlie Knight: Ya know, this is BULL****! I have been the President of this company since the inception! How can you POSSIBLY think about bringing in this no-name hack to take over my job?!

Jerome T. McCallum: Listen, Josh. I know you're upset, but I'm just looking out for my company's best interests here. I am tired of standing still. I need this company to start making some waves; and to be honest, pal, you just weren't doing it.

Charlie Knight: I signed some of the BEST fighters in the country to compete for us, and I "just wasn't doing it?!"

Jerom T. McCallum: Yes, you did sign some of the best fighters in the country. But, unfortunately, you haven't exactly gotten the message through your head yet. Say it with me, Charles. BRAND...RECOGNITION. You see, nobody is interested in the BCF name; outside of a few hundred people in the U.K....

Charlie Knight: Well, those few hundred people come to every show, and each time they bring some of their friends. It's going slow, but give it some time. I promise you, we will get bigger.

Jerom T. McCallum: I'm tired of waiting for results. When people around the world think of MMA, they only think of two name...GAMMA and ALPHA-1. I want to be in that position. I want to overtake GAMMA and ALPHA-1 as the number one mixed martial arts promotion in the world.....but that's not all, Charles.I want the BCF name to be synonymus with MMA. I want to make the money. I'm all about cracking necks, and cashing checks. Suffice to say, you just aren't cutting it anymore.

Charlie Knight: So, that's it then? Just like that?

Jerom T. McCallum: Just. Like. That.

*knock knock knock*

Jerom T. McCallum: Come in!

???: How are you, boss?

Jerom T. McCallum: I'm doing great, thank you for asking. Josh, this right here is your replacement. Say hello to the NEW President of British Cage Fighting......Robert Taylor.

Charlie Knight: This is ridiculous. I'm out of here. You better just hope, that I don't get control of another organization. Because if I do, you're all going down.

Jerom T. McCallum: Good luck with that, buddy.

Robert Taylor: Yeah, take care. Bye bye now.

Charlie Knight: Go to hell...the both of you.

(Charlie Knight exits the room, mumbling profanities to himself)

---BCF Press Conference---

Jerome T. McCallum: Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an exciting new announcement concering the future of British Cage Fighting! Due to, err, irreconciable differences between Mr. Charles Knight and the BCF Board of Staff, I have decided to name a NEW President of BCF. So, let's not wait any longer, shall we? Ladies and Gentlemen, the new President of BCF....Mr. Robert Taylor.

(Robert Taylor walks up to the press conference podium, and shakes hands with BCF Owner, Jerome T. McCallum...posing for a few pictures, of course)

Robert Taylor: Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen. I'm proud to be the new President of BCF, and I'm proud to be standing in front of you right now to explain just what, exactly, I will bring to the table that Mr. Bristow was unable. Well, for starters, how about a vast knowledge of the ever-growing mixed martial arts lineage. For the past nine years, I have watched the Japanese MMA organization, ALPHA-1, continue to climb the proverbial mountain of sports legitimacy. It was a tough road for them, but in Japan, they are considered the highest form of competition, respect, AND entertainment. They rake in millions upon millions of dollars every year, and have some of the most recognisable faces in the country. Men like Hassan Fezzik, Go Yamamoto, and Carlos da Guia...superstars, every one of them. On the flip side, over in America, they have the organization GAMMA; the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts. They have clawed, scraped, scratched, chewed, and bitten their way to fortunes. They are no longer considered a quote, freak show attraction, end quote. The company makes massive amounts of money as well, and that's what catches my eye. My goal is to take BCF to the promised land. I want British MMA to be just as big, if not bigger, than American and Japanese MMA. I will not stop clawing, scraping, scratching, chewing, and biting until this company is number one. When people AROUND THE WORLD think of MMA, they're going to think of BCF. Ladies and Gentlemen, that is my promise to you. This is a new day. The dawn of the BCF Era is upon us. So sit back, relax, and get ready to watch this company skyrocket to the top! And please, enjoy the fights along the way. That's all I have for you today. Thank you, and have a good night.

(Robert Taylor walks off to the side of the press conference stage, and walks back through the curtains. The press are screaming out questions, but they go ignored)

Jerome T. McCallum: That's all we have for you today, Ladies and Gentlemen. Please, proceed to exit with caution, and remember; keep your eye on BCF. The time is NOW!

---From the desk of BCF President, Mr. Robert Taylor---

To All BCF Personnel,

I promised changes were coming, and changes are here. I am pleased to inform all contracted fighters, as well as the entire BCF staff; that effectively as of today, there will be some rules changes to our organization. Now longer will be abide by the British Athletic Commission's boxing rules and point systems. There will no longer be twelve rounds, with each round consisting of five minutes. I regret to inform you that this is not boxing in any way, shape, or form. Yes, that was sarcasm. From this point forward, we will be adopting the United States' rules on MMA, as well as their ten point-must scoring system. These fights will now consist of three, five minute rounds for non-titles fights; and five, five minutes rounds for all championship fights.

Also, there will no longer be a ten count after a knockdown. Like I said, this isn't boxing. If you get caught with a punch, and you fall to the ground, your opponent as every right to jump on top of you like a crazed animal and beat you until the referee jumps in to stop it. Elbow strikes are now perfectly legal; as well as knee strikes to the head of a grounded opponent, and stomps to a grounded opponent. This organization is all about finding out who truly is the best fighter out there and I intend to showcase that.

If you feel that you can not hang with these new rule changes, just come to me and voice your opinion. As you voice those opinions, however, I will be drawing up your release papers. I have no room in my version of BCF for, well, girls.

Thank You,

BCF President, Robert Taylor

These men all showcased their abilities for me, and I made what I think to be great signings for the future of British Cage Fighting. I think they have what it takes. British Cage Fighting presents: Dawn of a New Era

Live! from London, England.

"Quiet Riot" Tucker Plumm(13-7-0, 5-2-0) vs. Marlon "Punisher" John(1-0-0, 0-0-0)

Round 1:

A slow and tedious affair starts off the fight, as the karate expert had a hard time getting in close to the wrestler to deliver any damage. Late in the round, John fails on a takedown attempt, but manages to push Plumm to the cage, gaining control. The round ends with Plumm being clinched against the cage. 10-9 John

Round 2:

This round is basically a rehash of Round 1, but this time, John gets the clinch and control against the cage early. His constant takedown attempts are thwarted by Plumm, which makes one question just how good of a wrestler John really is. 10-9 John

Round 3:

Things pick up a bit in this round, with Plumm deciding to push the pace, knowing he must be behind on the scorecards. Unfortunately, John is content with throwing leg kicks and circling the entire round before the horn goes off. Not an exciting fight at all. 10-9 John

Winner: Marlon "Punisher" John by Unanimous Decision(29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Rating=VERY POOR

"British Beef" Vic Timms(16-3-0, 6-2-0) vs. Kurt "Chopper" McDonald(5-0-0, 0-0-0)

Round 1:

The street fighter against the highly skilled kickboxer. This round sees Timms use surprisingly effective counter-striking, frustrating "Chopper" the entire round. Timms easily took this round by a score of 10-9. 10-9 Timms

Round 2:

Timms decides to come out aggressive in this round, but that turns out to be a costly mistake for the man called "British Beef." He throws a couple of looping hooks, but McDonald times them well, and after the flurry dies down, he explodes on Timms with a barrage of punches. Timms' legs buckle out from underneath him, and Kurt immediately dives in, securing side control. Instantly, he has the crucifix position, and proceeds to smash Timms' face with massive elbows, busting the man up. The ref dives in to stop the fight, awarding it to Kurt McDonald.

Winner: Kurt "Chopper" McDonald by TKO at 1:27 of Round 2

Rating=FANTASTIC

Richard "The Shooter" Smith(18-14-0, 2-2-0) vs. "The Human Time Bomb" Robert Darrell(11-4-0, 6-2-0)

Round 1:

Robert Darrell shows why he is one of the best strikers in BCF. He dominated Richard Smith with punches, leg kicks, and body kicks. A beautiful spinning backfist almost ended the fight in the first, but the horn saved Smith at the very last second. 10-8 Darrell

Round 2:

As soon as the ref calls for action, the two fighters meet in the center of the cage, BUT, with different ideas. Darrell immediately rockets a head kick towards Smith's dome, but Smith ducks underneath and lifts Darrell up from a single leg. He then SLAMS Darrell to the mat, knocking the wind out of him. Smith easily passes guard to side control, and then takes mount with no problem. He sets up for an armbar, but Robert Darrell counters by turning to his side. However, Smith takes his back! He fights for the Rear Naked Choke, and after a short time of fighting, he slips the forearm under the neck and forces the tapout.

Winner: Richard "The Shooter" Smith by Tapout due to a Rear Naked Choke at 3:36 of Round 2

Rating=EXCELLENT

"The Prince of Darkness" Lee Bould(16-9-0, 1-1-0) vs. "G-Force" Rodolphe Gygax(26-9-0, 3-0-0)

Round 1:

Lee Bould shows that Gygax's stand-up skills are to be feared, as he spent the first two and a half minutes of the first round circling around Rodolphe, with neither fighter throwing a punch. Bould decides to be brave, and dives for a takedown from the outside, but Gygax times it perfectly and just MURDERS Lee Bould with a vicious uppercut, knocking him out cold.

Winner: "G-Force" Rodolphe Gygax by KO at 2:51 of Round 1

Rating=FANTASTIC

Co-Main Event

"Wild" Bill Cumming(27-12-0, 0-0-0) vs. Jesse "The Spartan" Singh(14-4-0, 0-0-0)

Round 1:

Knowing that his ground game was world's better than Singh's, "Wild" Bill darts towards his opponent and immediately takes him down with a double leg takedown. As Singh is trying to position himself to sweep, he leaves an opening for Cumming to move to his back, where he quickly grabs a Rear Naked Choke for the submission victory.

Winner: "Wild" Bill Cumming by Tapout due to a Rear Naked Choke at 4:40 of Round 1

Rating=FANTASTIC

Main Event

"The Hotshot Scot" Garry McSweegan(23-7-0, 7-2-0) vs. "The Big Shot" Eddie Whelan(1o-3-0, 3-0-0)

Round 1:

In one of the quickest main events of all time, McSweegan barely breaks a sweat as he overwhelms Eddie Whelan from the get-go. Whelan tries to throw a body kick, but McSweegan catches it, throws a straight right, and Whelan goes down. From there, it's all ground and pound until the ref steps in between.

Winner: "The Hotshot Scot" Garry McSweegan by TKO at :24 of Round 1

Rating=GREAT

KO of the Night: "G-Force" Rodolphe Gygax
