Is my resolution a problem?

I haven't played TEW05 in forever... and I am thinking about buying TEW10 when it comes out. So I went and downloaded the freeware today and... wow. Uhm... is my resolution a problem? My laptop is currently set at 1280x800. The problem is... all of the buttons at the top are overlapping and there's some stuff hidden under the bottom of the screen. I have no idea what to do to fix this.
